Given the implementation of the program for people with mental disorders to access health services whose handling is different from other health services. This study uses a qualitative approach that aims to describe the complexity and dynamics of handling people with mental disorders. The primary data in this study were sourced from several informants, namely Home Visite Officers from Kalawa Atei General Hospital, Social Service and Povinsi / Regency Health Service, local Puskesmas, and Family of Ganguan Mental Panderita. Meanwhile, Secondary Sources in this study include the Implementation of Home Visite Regulation, Home Visite Service Profile, Home Visite Patient Ratio and other related documents. The results of the study show the conclusions of the study that the implementation of home visite services organized by the Central Kalimantan Atei Central Hospital along with other cross sectors has been running quite well. This is seen in terms of the facilities and infrastructure that have been provided in providing home visite services for ODGJs that have been prepared and are maximally sought. Home visite services are in accordance with SOPs, competencies and disciplines of each service officer. Home visite services provide guarantees to each patient with a special schedule by officers to come to the regions to provide these services. In this case, home visite services in terms of empathy by service personnel are good enough. Considering that home viste activities are shown to severely mentally ill patients, who cannot access Kalawa Atei General Hospital for various reasons, such as financial incapacity, no family support, family ignorance, and the existence of savings. However, there are several inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Home Visite Service at Atawa Kalawa Hospital, namely: 1) equipment completeness, 2) field conditions, 3) communication.

SummaryThe prevalence of tattoos is higher among people with mental disorders and those likely to come in contact with mental health services. The motivations for acquiring a tattoo are varied and tattoos can give clues to the presence of particular psychiatric conditions and to the inner world of patients. Psychiatrists need to be aware of the health and safety issues surrounding the tattooing procedure and be able to give appropriate advice to their patients if they wish to acquire a tattoo. The issue of capacity must be considered. This may be particularly relevant for clinicians working with adolescents, the most common age group for acquiring tattoos. Owing to the high proportion of adults who subsequently regret their tattoos and the associated psychological and social distress, clinicians should be aware of methods of tattoo removal.

At that time the mentally ill was considered a danger to society, so he was excluded from society. With the Psychiatric Reform, this concept was changed, and new models of psychiatric care emerged. The objective of the present study was to discuss the evolution of Mental Health. For this, a bibliographic review was carried out in the literature with a temporal cut of the last 10 years with the following descriptors: mental health, mental health services, Psychiatric Reform in Brazil. Thus, it was possible to address the main points of Mental Health in Brazil.

From the self-stigmatization to the origins of the stigmatization process. With regard to the survey «Mental health in the general population: images and realities» in France and 17 countries Abstract: The archetype of the ‘mad’ represents the paradigm of the stigmatization process and the history of madness appear as an attempt to make it disappear by their medicalization for the benefit of the concept of ‘mental illness ‘. The SMPG international survey results show the failure of the medicalization of madness to reduce stigma. This investigation describes the social representations associated to the archetypes of the ‘mad’, the “mentally ill” and the “depressed”. Made in France (67 sites) and in 17 countries (20 international sites), she describes the variants and invariants of these three archetypes. It describes the factors of significant stigmatization for the group ‘ mad / mentally ill ‘: non-responsibility, non-controllability, medicalization, poor prognosis and dangerousness. Regardless of the country, the hard core of representations combining madness and danger is rooted in the collective imagination and the “mentally ill” bears the attributes of a ‘mad’ medicalized. Conversely, the “depressive” label seems more acceptable and less exposed to stigma. Very few people recognize themselves in the collective representation of the ‘mad’ or the ‘mentally ill’, even those who have diagnosed mental disorders. Therefore, how to exit to the dichotomies madness/reason, us /them that are at the base of the process of stigmatization, if for all the people, and even people who have mental disorders, mad it is the other? This may be the role of the patients themselves to combat the stigma and self-stigma in the years to come.
