To ensure the effective functioning of the national innovation system it is required an appropriate innovation infrastructure, which is a set of economic entities providing technical, informational, human, financial, organizational-methodical and (or) other support to subjects of innovative activity necessary to create knowledge, technologies, transformation them into new products and services. A key part of the regional innovative infrastructure is a structure of patent information support of innovation processes undertaken by the State Public Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Analytical and patent information play a leading role in strategic planning and management of innovation and intellectual property, scientific-technological and marketing problems, understanding the general level of achievements in the field of science and technology. In this regard, the most important activity of infrastructure elements of the innovation patent information support is to ensure access of economic entities to a variety of resources to effectively address issues of protection, disposition and use of rights to results of intellectual activity. These elements of the innovation infrastructure should become so called «connecting bridges» from knowledge to innovation. The author proposes the exchange mechanisms for commercialization of scientific-technological developments. Launching the project Novosibirsk Center to Support Innovation and Technology created on the base of the State Public Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences plans to change the approach to innovations that should help to solve the regional basic problems.

Various varieties of peach as a culture with an economically profitable and high early maturity have been described; some features of the weather conditions of the Black Sea coast during cultivation is given. The results of many years of physiological research, which have been carried out in the Laboratory of plant physiology and biochemistry of the Federal Research Center «Subtropical Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences» (earlier – VNIITSISK) have been presented. The objects of the research are peach leaves of the varieties of Redhaven (control), Nicholas I (Collins clone), Larisa, Krasnaya Zarya (Redhaven clone), Comanche, Sunbeam, Spring Call (Springold clone), Summerset. It has been found that the amount of water deficit does not exceed 12,1–14,2%, and the water content of the leaf blades ranges on average from 55,2% to 70% in the varieties of Redhaven, Comanche, Summerset, Larisa. As stressful situations intensify (drought, lack of moisture in plants, high air temperature and humidity) in the subtropical zone, the Comanche, Vesennyy Prizyk and Summerset varieties show a decrease in the synthesis of a, b, chlorophyll and in the most resistant varieties of Redhaven, Larisa, Krasnaya Zarya, Sunbeam and Nicholas I show its decrease. A high content of carotenoids is up to 0,52–0,65 units.

= The global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has significantly affected library processes and procedures in academic libraries worldwide, and the aim of this study is to determine how public academic libraries in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FB&H) have adapted and/or redefined their library and information services to pandemic circumstances. For the purposes of collecting such data, only librarians of those public academic libraries who have contact information (e-mail) displayed on the faculty / academy / university website were surveyed. The research itself, which is of a quantitative nature, was realized by using a survey questionnaire, which was created on Google Forms, in June 2021. Out of a total of 47 mapped libraries, 26 academic libraries participated in the survey (response rate of 55.3%). This research paper, which is first of its kind in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, brings approaches of academic libraries which, unlike academic libraries from developed European countries, operate in very specific circumstances which are primarily characterized by limited and insufficient budgets for procurement of collections but also basic IT equipment. Results showed that despite the found inadequate elementary working conditions, academic librarians made certain efforts aimed towards meeting the information needs of library users during the world health crisis, but also that the pandemic emphasized the urgent need for digital transformation of surveyed academic libraries.

In 2019, the Central Scientific Library of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of SB RAS (CSL ISC) celebrated its 70th anniversary. The library history began with the creation of the East Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (ESB or Branch) in Irkutsk in February 1949. Immediately the aim of information support for×scientific research arouse. One room was allotted on the second floor of the building on the Red Star street, 18 (now – Sukhe-Bator St.). The first 600 books were purchased at the local library collector. Anna Sergeevna Chumicheva, having at that time rich work experience in various types of libraries: trade-union library, NKVD club, and university library, was appointed director of ESB scientific library. The library acquisition profile was determined in accordance with research directions of institutions that were part of the Branch at the very beginning of its activities: Institute of Geology, Institute of Energy and Chemistry, Biological Sector and Geographic and Economic Sector. Much attention was paid to bibliographic activities: in the 1960-1980s. the staff of ESB scientific library created a series of indexes on hydrogeology, seismicity and engineering geology of Siberia and the Far East, on Lake Baikal.Currently, the Central Library is a methodological center for scientific libraries of academic institutes in Irkutsk and the Irkutsk region. The library has more than 366 thousand documents (books, brochures, journals), including 1000 documents on electronic media, about 4 thousand readers (scientists, graduate students, students), including 1260 online. CSL creates resources of own generation – the electronic database “Lake Baikal”, the database “Abstracts and Dissertations”, etc. In terms of popularizing science, the library has published a series of booklets about scientists and a documentary essay, “Irkutsk Academic-city: milestones in history” (Irkutsk, 2019). Since July 2017, the director of the Central Scientific Library is a young scientist Ivan Leonidovich Trofimov. From 1968 to the present day, the library is located in the building of the Institute of the Earth’s Crust of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (since 1992 – SB RAS).

Treasures were discovered during archaeological research of the Idnakar hillfort in 1976–1999. Two treasures were found on the middle square of the hillfort. The third treasure was found on the territory of internal fortifications, another one – outside the middle line of fortifications. Patterns in the location of the treasures relative to the planning objects are not revealed. The nature of the complexes is diverse. In general, jewelry dominates. Two treasures contain metal ingots and unfinished products. This indicates their local production. A treasure containing imported vessels is an important source for the analysis of trade and economic relations of the medieval population of the Cheptsa River Basin. Jewelry from treasures is dated to the period of 10th –13th centuries. Similar products were found in the materials of medieval monuments of the Finno-Ugric population of Eastern Europe. Data on the elemental composition of metal products from treasures are published. Metal research was carried out by Bazhen Evgenievich Pushkarev, Candidate of Technical Sciences (Scientific Center for Metallurgical Physics and Materials Science, Udmurt Federal Research Center, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences). Earrings and ritual bowls were made of silver. Pendants, jewelry items and metal ingots were made of copper alloys (pure copper, bronze, brass). Alloy formulations vary, which is typical of the medieval metal of the Cheptsa River Basin.

The paper deals with the study results of the Hydrangea species reproduction by green and lignified cuttings based on the collection of the South-Ural Botanical Garden-Institute of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the work is to study the reproduction by cuttings of species and varieties of the genus Hydrangea and to identify optimal environmental conditions for the most effective result of cuttings. During the experiments green cuttings were rooted in 5 different types of substrates (sand, peat, a mixture of sand and peat, a mixture of sand and perlite, a mixture of peat and perlite). As rooting stimulants Kornevin and Heteroauxin were used. The reproduction of Hydrangea by lignified cuttings was studied after various storage methods during winter. It was found that the maximum rooting percentage is obtained when peat is used as a substrate (rooting reaches 96,7%). The maximum root-forming ability when reproduced by green cuttings using rooting stimulants (Kornevin and Heteroauxin) was observed in H. arborescens (86,6-93,3%) and its varieties (79,8-96,5%). High results were obtained when tree hydrangea was reproduced by both green and lignified cuttings. The root-forming ability of lignified cuttings increases when they are stored during winter under snow.
