The development of a teaching material must be based on the analysis of student needs. Development of teaching materials have to be able to answer or solve problems or difficulties in learning. This study aims to know the development of writing folk poetry teaching material according to the materials expert team with copy the master technique for seventh grade student of junior high school 1 Rantau Selatan, in Labuhan Batu District. This study was conducted by using Probability Sampling technique. The result shows that all teachers and students need modules in the learning process. Teaching material products developed in folk poetry writing materials with copy the master learning technique for seventh grade students of junior high school 1 Rantau Selatan meet the requirements and are appropriate to use based on the validation of material experts and design experts.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to describe things as follow. First, it describes the writing skills of the report text of observations of grade VII junior high school 22 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of fantasy text for VII grade students of junior high school 22 Padang. Third, analyze the comparasion between the writing skills of the observation report text and the fantasy story writing skills of the seventh grade student. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive analysis. Based on the result of the study, the following three things were concluded. First, the writing skills of the report text of observations of grade VII students of junior high school are in good qualifications (82,82). Secondly, the skills to write fantasy text for seventh grade student of junior high school 22 Padang are in good qualifications (80,66). Third, there is a significant difference between the writing skills of observations report text and the fantasy story writing skills of grade VII students of junior high school 22 Padang, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the count is greater then the table 11,25>1,68. Kata Kunci: Komparasi, Menulis Teks LHO,Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi

<p><em>This research is a qualitative descriptive research aims to (1) describe and explain the structure of folklore of Purbalingga District, (2) to describe and explain the social care values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) describe and explain the relevance of folklore as the character buildingand teaching material in Junior High School. Data and information are collected through informants and documents. Data collection is done through observation, recording, interview, and document analysis. Research sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. Validation of data is done by triangulation. The results of this research are:</em></p><em>(1) the structure of folklore Purbalingga District, (2) social caring values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) relevance of folklore as the character building and teaching material in Junior High School.</em>

This thesis was concerned with the inquiry on the correlations among learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability of the seventh grade students at State Junior High School of Lubai Ulu Sub-District of Muaraenim Regency. The problem of the study was to investigate the correlation among students’ learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability. The total number of the population were 474 students. The sample for this study was 83 students taken through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by adopting a questionnaire for learning motivation, self-confidence, and test for writing ability. Data were analyzed by using r-Product Moment and Multiple Regression. Finding showed that: (1) there was significant correlation between learning motivation and writing ability; (2) there was not any significant correlation between self-confidence and writing ability; (3) there was not any significant correlation between learning motivation and self-confidence; (4) there were significant correlations among learning motivation, self-confidence, and writing ability of seventh grade-students at state Junior High School of Lubai Ulu Muaraenim.

Grammar is one of the most difficult capabilities found in English. Grammar difficulty will affect other English skills such as reading, speaking, listening, and writing. Tenses belong to one part of grammar. Most students still struggle to use tenses well. Tenses contained in this grammar material need to be studied so that students can distinguish the time of conversation and the meaning of a sentence and how to make a sentence in accordance with the tenses that have been studied. This research was designed in the form of qualitative research, especially in descriptive method. It meant that the researcher would like to investigate the use of tenses (especially past, present, future, continous, and present perfect) and to identify the grammatical errors in using tense (especially past, present, future, continous,  and present perfect) in students junior high school of seventh grade with close task.

This thesis is concerned with the inquiry on the correlations among learning strategy, learning motivation and the seventh grade students’ speaking ability of SMP Negeri 03 Muaradua OKUS. The problem of this study is to investigate the correlations among learning strategy, learning motivation and speaking ability. The total number of the population was 76 students. The sample for this study was 52 students taken through cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected by adopting questionnaire for learning strategy and learning motivation, and a test for speaking ability. Data were analyzed by using r-product moment and multiple regression.  Findings show that there are significant correlations among learning strategy, learning motivation, and speaking ability. Conclusions suggest that learning strategy and learning motivation have significant correlations with speaking ability.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari kesulitan siswa dalam Pelajaran Bahasa Arab, pada dasarnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing, kosa kata merupakan salah satu dari tiga unsur bahasa yang sangat penting dikuasai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar kosa kata dengan media lagu di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin serta melihat efektifitas dari buku yang dikembangkan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin Gurah Kediri. 2) Efektivitas penerapan Bahan Ajar Mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin Gurah Kediri. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian R&D yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 10 langkah dan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu wawancara, angket dan tes.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil pengembangan produk berupa buku pendamping untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Arab siswa kelas 7 yang berisi kosa kata yang disusun sesuai dengan nada lagu. Adapun hasil validasi dari para ahli untuk menilai produk sebagai berikut: hasil dari ahli materi  83, 07 %, hasil dari ahli media 93, 84 %, dan dari praktisi pembelajaran bahasa arab 98, 33 % berdasarkan paparan data tersebut maka pembelajaran mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi dinyatakan sangat baik. 2) hasil Uji-T, hasil t-hitung antara nilai pretest dan post test sebesar 3, 262 sedangkan hasil t-tabel sebesar 2, 015. Maka dapat disimpulkan t-hitung > t-tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil pembelajaran mufrodat di kelas 7 Mts Hidayatus Sholihin sebelum menggunakan metode bernyanyi dengan sesudahnya. Dari nilai eksperimen tersebut dapat disimpulkan metode bernyanyi dalam pembelajaran mufrodat  untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin di nyatakan “efektif”.

The Objective of the research: to get information about the English vocabulary acquisition of the seventh, the eight and the ninth grade of students of state junior high school 2 Parepare. The researcher applied cross-sectional design to investigate differences between participants that vary by  grade. The research population were all pupils who learned English, so the population of this research were students of State Junior High School 2 Parepare. They are the seventh grade which consist of 210 students, eight grade which consist of 208 students, and ninth grade consist of 234 students. The total number of population are 652.The researcher took sample from each grade by using random sampling technique. At the seventh grade consist of 36 students, at the ninth grade consist of 34 students, and the ninth grade consist of 32 students, so total number of sample are 102. The result of this research showed that mean score of each grade were different. Mean score of seventh grade were 6,0778, it was lower than eight grade and ninth grade. Mean score of eight grade were 8,1088 means that it was in the middle between seventh  and ninth group. And then mean score at ninth grade were 9,2500, it was a higher mean score than eight grade and seventh grade. Based on mean score from students of each grade showed that students of higher grade would they have higher vocabulary size.

The research aims to knowing relationship between learning discipline and learning achievement in VIII grade student junior high school. Independent variables in this study is learning discipline and dependent variables is learning achievement. This measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of learning discipline. Sampling technique in this study use random sampling technique. The sample in this study was 110 VIII grade student. For Y variable (learning achievement) data using semester 1 and 2 average values. Learning discipline questioner before being used for research try it first. Validity and reliability tes in this study using alpha cronbach technique. The result of the trials of the two instrument are only valid questioner which will be used in the research. The result of the coefficients on the learning discipline move from rix=0,348 to rix= 0,685 with a reliability coefficients of α = 0,867. Based on data analysis, obtained a correlation value of 0,226 with significant level of 0,018<0,05 whichmean hypothesis is accepted. The show that there is weak and unidirectional relationship between learning achievement in class VIII in junior high school 1 in solok city that is, if the higher learningdiscipline ,the higher learning achievement. As for the effective contribution of the learning discipline of learning achievement of 5%

This research deals with the development of teaching material in writing fable story texts with children's film assistance for grade vii in junior high school 6 Tambusai Utara Rokan Hulu Riau, 2018/2019. Teaching material of fable story text with children's film assistance are designed according to the development and age of students so that they can contribute to the emotional and moral development of students. The sample of this study were 32 students of seventh grade of in junior high school 6 Tambusai Utara Rokan Hulu Riau. The conclusion was teaching material with children's film assistance which developed can train students to learn independently with minimal help from the teacher. The role of the teacher is only as a facilitator who guides and directs students to learning fable story texts.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of cooperative learning method toward the seventh-grade students of Private Junior High School in South Tangerang. The method that used in the research was an experimental method, where the independent variable was cooperative learning method and the dependent variable was the result of learning mathematics. The sample was taken by using the random sampling technique. The test data requirements were done by using the following formula:   chi-square test for normality test and Fisher test for homogeneity test. The hypothesis submission was done using t-test<sub>.</sub> The result of the research shows that there are significant effects of cooperative learning method toward students’ mathematics learning result especially on the plane figure subject on the seventh-grade students of the private junior high school in South Tangerang.
