<p><em>This research is a qualitative descriptive research aims to (1) describe and explain the structure of folklore of Purbalingga District, (2) to describe and explain the social care values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) describe and explain the relevance of folklore as the character buildingand teaching material in Junior High School. Data and information are collected through informants and documents. Data collection is done through observation, recording, interview, and document analysis. Research sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. Validation of data is done by triangulation. The results of this research are:</em></p><em>(1) the structure of folklore Purbalingga District, (2) social caring values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) relevance of folklore as the character building and teaching material in Junior High School.</em>

<em>This Analysis explain and describe: (1) the forms of deixis contained in the editorial of Solopos edition 2017; </em><em>(2) the use of the deixis function in the editorial of Solopos edition 2017; (3) its relevance as teaching material of editorial text in high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with source data derived from editorial paper Solopos Edition 2017. Sampling technique of this research using purposive sampling and using document analysis and interview. Technique of data validity test that used is triangulation theory. The results of this research are 1) found 5 deixis form namely, deixis persona, deixis place/ space, deixis time, deixis discourse, and social deixis; 2) Based on the analysis found the functions of the use of deixis at Solopos Editorial Edition 2017 a) the function deiksis persona, b) The deixis function of place, c) The time dextis function, d) the function of the discourse of discourse, e) the social deixis function; 3) The Editor's editorial in the 2017 edition of Solopos matching with the criteria as teaching material for editorial texts in high school.</em>

The development of a teaching material must be based on the analysis of student needs. Development of teaching materials have to be able to answer or solve problems or difficulties in learning. This study aims to know the development of writing folk poetry teaching material according to the materials expert team with copy the master technique for seventh grade student of junior high school 1 Rantau Selatan, in Labuhan Batu District. This study was conducted by using Probability Sampling technique. The result shows that all teachers and students need modules in the learning process. Teaching material products developed in folk poetry writing materials with copy the master learning technique for seventh grade students of junior high school 1 Rantau Selatan meet the requirements and are appropriate to use based on the validation of material experts and design experts.

AbstrakPemecahan masalah merupakan suatu kemampuan yang sangat kompleks di mata siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa SMA kelas X dan respon peralihan matematika SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Bandung Barat. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah uji soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket kemampuan matematika siswa apabila ditinjau dari peralihan SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Jumlah soal yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak empat dari enam butir soal yang disediakan dengan angket yang berisikan sepuluh pertanyaan, yang terdiri dari empat pertanyaan tertutup dan enam pertanyaan terbuka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September 2018 dan 8 Oktober 2018. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas X di Bandung Barat terhadap materi SPLTV tergolong tinggi, dengan persentase sebesar 79,868%. Siswa yang memiliki latar belakang pemahaman SPLDV yang baik cenderung mudah memahami SPLTV dengan baik pula. Analysis of Problem Solving Ability and Respons of Transition from Junior to Senior High School in SPLTV MaterialAbstractProblem-solving is problem-solving in the eyes of students. The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the mathematical problem solving of high school students in class X and the response of the transition of junior high school to high school to SPLTV material. This research is in the form of qualitative descriptive research with class X objects in one of the high schools in West Bandung. The instruments in this study were problem-solving questions and mathematical ability questionnaires which were reviewed from the transition of junior high school to high school to SPLTV material. The number of questions used in this study amounted to four of the six items provided with a questionnaire containing questions, which consisted of four closed questions and six open questions. This research was conducted on September 10, 2018, and October 8, 2018. The ability to solve the problems of grade X students in West Bandung on SPLTV material was high, with a contribution of 79.868%. Students who have a background in understanding SPLDV can easily consider SPLTV well too.

This study aims to: (1) look for the highest and lowest values in number and algebraic material of Junior High School in East Lombok, (2) the percentage of errors made by students when answering math problems, and (3) the diagnosis of student’s misconception in doing number and algebra at Junior High School in East Lombok. This research is a quantitative- descriptive research. For the sampling technique, this study used purposive sampling. The test was conducted in five classes with 200 students as research participants. The sampling took into account the level of students’ ability and school readiness. The sampling size is 361 students from five schools. The data were in the form of students’ responses and those were analyzed using the Quest program. The results of this study are as follows. First, in terms of the difficulty index, 40 items (47%) are easy category items, 8% are medium category items, and 45% are difficult category items. Out of the 40 problems, 82% of the items have good difficulty index, while 18% are not good. Of the four alternative answers, 88% of the distractor is in a good category, and 12% are not good. Second, based on the students’ answers, the percentage of error is 52 %. Third, based on the result of the analysis using the Quest program, of the tow materials, the biggest misconception is in number with the percentage of 68%. The dominant error is in the indicator representing fractions in various forms, with a percentage of 22%.

Indonesia as an archipelagic country, geographically has a long coastline (lk 81,000 km) and a vast ocean (5.8 million km2) with a wealth of marine biological resources would require human resources to maintain and preserve it. Coastal children are the generation that will develop the marine biological resources. They need knowledge and insight into maritime that is channeled through education. The archipelago of Nusantara is present as a moving community to develop and raise children's competitiveness through education. Offers 3 peogram excellence namely, Inspirative Talk Show, Character Building Training (CBT), 3 B (Play, Read, Learn). Through qualitative descriptive research, the researchers see how Cakralawala Nusantara plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of coastal children of Pulau Untung Jawa, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Based on research, more than 50% of early childhood, primary and junior high school children are motivated to achieve goals and develop their marine environment better, this is a form of generating their competitiveness.

This research investigate the social interaction of students in Araling Panlipunan during this time of Pandemic as part of contemporary new normal education setup. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effects of knowledge context in the social interaction of selected junior high school students in the subject of Araling Panlipunan during pandemic in San Antonio De Padua College. The participants of this study were one hundred (100) junior high school of San Antonio de Padua College. The research was conducted in Santa Clara, Sur Pila, Laguna year 2020-2021. The descriptive study used a quantitative method of inquiry was employed to answer the problem in this study using a customized survey questionnaire. A descriptive research presented the valuable information in realizing the nature of this study. Through the analysis of the data from the survey, the adjustment inside and outside of google meet for online class is part of a process. But with proper guidance and awareness, the social interaction of the student’s in online class could help to establish meaningful learning, which promote that despite the pandemic the learning of the students should never stop. It was shown that no significant effect of student social interaction to the knowledge context of the students. Therefore, the null hypothesis was sustained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pada materi pola barisan bilangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah semua subjek mampu memperlihatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan tingkatan yang berbeda-beda yaitu satu subjek memperlihatkan TKBK 4, satu subjek memperlihatkan TKBK 3 dan satu subjek memperlihatkan TKBK 1.Abstract:  This research is a qualitative descriptive research,that aims to determine the ability of creative thinking students of junior high school in solving mathematical problems in the matter of pattern of sequence numbers. Subjects in this study consist of three students of  (eight grade of junior high school 3 Salatiga) VIII SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga in the academic year 2017/2018 who have high mathematical ability. Data collection using test techniques, and interview guidelines. Data analysis used  data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of those studies are all subjects are able to show the ability of creative thinking in different levels of one subject showed TKBK 4, one subject showed TKBK 3 and one subject showed TKBK 1.

AbstrakUsia anak SMP umumnya mengikuti suatu kegitan hanya didasari dengan ketertarikan atau hanya meniru teman saja tanpa tahu tujuannya. Kenyataanya seseorang melakukan suatu aktivitas atau kegiatan selalu didasari dengan adanya motivasi dan minat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi minat siswa memilih ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMP Purwokerto, yang terdiri dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Purwokerto dan SMP Al Irsyad Purwokerto yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis dengan total sampel sebanyak 65 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuisoner, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat siswa memilih ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMP Purwokerto, dari faktor internal sebanyak 36,05% dengan indikator rasa senang sebesar 18,14% dan indikator ketertarikan sebesar 17,91%. Sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal mempengaruhi minat siswa memilih ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis sebanyak 63,95%, terdiri dari indikator pelatih 16,22%, indikator lingkungan 16,27%, indikator fasilitas 15,71% dan indikator keluarga 15,75%.Kata kunci: Faktor, Minat Siswa, Ekstrakurikuler, BulutangkisDETERMINING FACTORS OF INTEREST IN MIDDLE SCHOOL EXTRACURRICULAR STUDENTS IN PURWOKERTO AbstractThe junior high school student’s generally follows an activity only based on interest or just imitating friends without knowing their purpose. In fact, someone doing an activity or action is always based on of motivation and interest. This study aims to determine the faktors that influence students' interest in choosing badminton extracurricular at Purwokerto junior high school, which consists of internal faktorsand external faktors. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study were students of Purwokerto junior high school 1 Muhammadiyah and Al Irsyad Purwokerto junior high school who participated in badminton extracurricular activities with a total sample of 60 students.  Sampling technique in this study is total sampling. Data collection techniques was using questionnaires / questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach.  The result and conclusion showed that the faktors that influence student’s interest in choosing badminton extracurricular at Purwokerto junior high school were 36.05% from internal faktors with 18.14% pleasure indikators and 17.91% interest indikators. Whereas for external faktors affect the interest of students choosing badminton extracurricular as much as 63.95%, consisting of 16.22% coach indikators, 16.27% environmental indikators, 15.71% facility indikators and 15.75% family indikators. This study aims to reveal the ability of adaptive reasoning of junior high school students in Pontianak, which is divided into categories of secondary, middle and lower schools. This research is descriptive research with research form is survey. Sampling in this research using stratified cluster random sampling technique. Of the 23 existing schools thereafter were randomly assigned to each school to represent high school, middle class, and low school. Categorization of schools based on the value of students National Exam. Based on the result of research analysis, it is found that the average of adaptive reasoning ability of junior high school students in Pontianak is 42,96% with enough category. While the average adaptive reasoning ability of high, medium and low students is 48.82% (enough), 41.06% (enough), and 39% (enough), respectively.

This study aims to determine the profile of cooperation skills of grade VII students in one private junior high school in Magelang. This study uses a survey method. The study population was all seventh grade junior high school students. The sampling technique uses purposive random sampling with a sample of 25 students. Students' cooperative skills are measured in classroom observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that of 36 students there are 0% of students who have very low collaboration skills, 0% of students who have low cooperative skills, 0% of students who have moderate cooperation skills, 72% of students who have high cooperative skills, and 28% of students who have very high cooperation skills. The average cooperative skills of class VII students are high.
