Does Compensation Important? The Effect of Compensation on Teachers Performance in Vocational High School

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on the teacher performance in vocational school. This research used a quantitative approach. Data collection technique was by distributing a questionnaire using a five-likert scale. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Samples taken from each school amounted to 3 teachers from each department, so there were 42 respondents from 5 schools. Validity test used the Pearson product moment. The analysis technique used to answer the research hypothesis uses simple linear regression. The results showed that teacher compensation had an effect on teacher performance in vocational high school.

This research objective to find out the impact of motivation and compensation through teachers performance Vocational High School in Bangil district. Collecting data technique used questionnaire and distributed to respondent. Sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Sample for every school are 3 teachers from each major. Totally sample 42 respondents from 5 schools. Validity test used pearson product moment. Analisis technique to answer the research questions are inferential statistic multiple linier regression. Research results showed motivation and compensation have an impact through teachers performance Vocational High School in Bangil District.

The low interest in entrepreneurship of graduates of BLK Padang barista training, which is thought to be due to the low achievement of barista training graduates at BLK Padang, is the background of this research. Objectives (1) aim to excel (2) describe interest in entrepreneurship (3) describe the relationship between achievement motivation and entrepreneurial interest for barista trainer graduates. The approach in this study is a quantitative correlational type. In this study, the population was 64 people. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, the 50% sample consisted of 32 people. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used theoretical theory, percentage and Spearman Rho. This study found that (1) achievement motivation was categorized as moderate. (2) the entrepreneurship interest of the barista training students is categorized as moderate. (3) There is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and the interest of graduates of barista training at BLK Padang.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of work motivation and professional competence in improving the performance of Vocational High School teachers in Soppeng Regency, as well as which variables are most dominant in influencing the improvement of teacher performance. Researchers took a sample of 72 teachers from five vocational schools in Soppeng Regency with the sampling technique, namely random sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, meaning that if the work motivation is higher, the teacher's performance will also increase. In addition, professional competence also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, so that if professional competence is getting better, teacher performance will also increase. Researchers also found that work motivation is the most dominant variable affecting the improvement of teacher performance in schools. Keywords: Work Motivation, Professional Competence, Teacher Performance  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Soppeng, serta variabel manakah yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru. Peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 72 orang guru yang berasal dari lima SMK di Kabupaten Soppeng dengan teknik penentuan sampel yaitu dengan random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, artinya jika motivasi kerja semakin tinggi maka kinerja guru juga akan semakin meningkat. Disamping itu, kompetensi profesional juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, sehingga apabila kompetensi profesional semakin baik maka kinerja guru juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Peneliti juga menemukan bahwa motivasi kerja merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru di sekolah. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil karya poster ditinjau dari warna, tipografi dan komposisi siswa kelas X SMK Multimedia deli tua. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Multimedia Istiqlal Deli Tua yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 140 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling (acak kelas), maka diperoleh sampel berjumlah 5 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitiatif dan diwujudkan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil karya poster ditinjau dari warna, tipografi, dan komposisi baik. Dari kategori di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil kemampuan siswa dalam membuat karya poster tergolong baik.Kata Kunci: analisis, warna, tipografi.AbstractThis study aims to determine the results of the poster's work in terms of color, typography and composition of all students' class X vocational high school multimedia deli tua. The population in this study were all students of class x vocational high school multimedia istiqlal Deli Tua which consisted of 4 classes with a total of 140 students.  The sample in this study was taken by using cluster random sampling technique (random class), then the sample obtained was 20 people. data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques and represented in the form of a table. The results of the research findings indicate that the poster works in terms of color, typography, and composition was good. From the categories above , it can be concluded that the results of students' abilities in making poster work are classified as good.Keywords: analysis, color, typography.

This study. aims to reveal.the effect of the implementation of entrepreneurship learning and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial readiness students. This type of research is associative descriptive. The study population is all students of class XII at vocational high school 1 Lubuk Basung. The sampling technique used was proportional to random sampling, and the technique obtained 75 students as samples. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. This study uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the. This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of citizens studying sociology subjects in the SPNF-SKB Package C program in Pariaman City. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the learning outcomes of learning residents on sociology subjects in the SPNF-SKB Package C program in Pariaman City.This type of research is a type of comparative causal research. The population in this study were 50 students of the Pariaman City SPNF-SKB Package C Program. The sample in this study amounted to 40 residents studied using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Analysis of the data used quantitatively by using the t-test using SPSS16 software.Based on the results of the research on the learning outcomes of the residents of the Package C Program before the pandemic, the highest was in the very good category, amounting to 29 people with a percentage of 72.5%, of the 40 residents studying the Package C Program before the pandemic and the value of learning outcomes for learning residents during the covid pandemic. the highest is the unfavorable category, totaling 19 learning residents with a percentage of 47.5% of the 40 residents studying the Package C Program during the pandemic. So there are differences in the learning outcomes of learning residents before the Covid pandemic with the learning outcomes of learning residents during the Covid pandemic, meaning that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. It is recommended for the department of education outside the school of Padang State University to use the results of this study as a reference in teaching materials for courses. Keywords: learning outcomes, Pandemic Covid-19

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of moral development on prosocial behavior in students grade VIII in SMP Negeri"X" at Kota Kupang. This is a quantitative research.  The research’s population was all students grade VIII in SMP Negeri "X" at Kota Kupang with the total amount of 352 students. A sample of 78 students was taken by cluster random sampling technique. Instruments data collection were the scale of moral development and the scale of prosocial behavior. The data analysis technique was simple linear regression.Correlation analysis results show significant positive correlation between moral development and prosocial behavior with R = 0.568.. Simple linear regression analysis was performed to predict prosocial behavior based on moral development (F=36,188, p = 0.000 (<0.05) with coefficient determination R2 = 0.323, which means that the influence of moral development on prosocial behavior in students grade VIII in SMP Negeri "X" at Kota Kupang is 32.3%. This study shows the level of moral development in students grade VIII in SMP Negeri "X" at Kota Kupang is categorized as high at the level of 43.7% while at the same time the level of prosocial behavior is also in the high category at the level of 39.7%. The increased level of moral development relates to the higher level of prosocial behavior in adolescents. Keywords: Moral Development, Prosocial Behavior ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perkembangan moral terhadap perilaku prososial pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri “X” Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri “X” Kota Kupang berjumlah 352 siswa. Sampel berjumlah 78 siswa diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah skala perkembangan moral dan skala perilaku prososial. Teknik analisis data adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara perkembangan moral dan perilaku prososial dengan nilai R = 0,568. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dilakukan untuk memprediksi perilaku prososial berdasarkan perkembangan moral (F = 36,188,  p = 0,000 (< 0,05)  dengan nilai koefisien determinasi R2= 0,323. Artinya pengaruh perkembangan moral terhadap perilaku prososial siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri “X” Kota Kupang sebesar 32,3%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat perkembangan moral siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri "X" di Kota Kupang dikategorikan tinggi pada level 43,7%, sementara itu pada saat yang sama tingkat perilaku prososial juga berada pada kategori tinggi pada level 39,7%. Semakin tinggi perkembangan moral semakin meningkat pula perilaku prososial remaja.   Kata Kunci:  Perkembangan Moral, Perilaku Prososial.

The current research aimed to analyze and determine the effect of principal managerial ability and teacher performance on the quality of senior high school in Way Kanan regency. This research is quantitative using a descriptive verification method with a cluster random sampling technique with a sample of 235 teachers of Way Kanan regency. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed through multiple equation regression with the help of SPSS Statistics 17 software and then interpreted. The results of this study indicate that there was an influence of principal managerial ability on school quality by 63.7%. In addition, there was an influence of teacher performance on school quality by 58.6%, and finally there was an effect of principal managerial ability and teacher performance on school quality by 68.2%. The implications of the current findings are also discussed.

This research is motivated by the low learning discipline of children in the equality program at PKBM Karang Putih II, Padang City, allegedly due to the influence of a poor family environment. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between family environment and learning discipline in the equality program at PKBM Karang Putih II, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative correlational. In this study, the population is all residents studying the equivalence program package A, B, and C in 2021, totaling 87 people. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Samples were taken as much as 30% from each study group, namely as many as 26 samples. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire, the data collection tool uses a questionnaire containing a list of statements. The data analysis technique uses percentages. The results showed that (1) the description of the family environment had been carried out well, (2) the description of learning discipline in the equality program at PKBM Karang Putih had been carried out quite well, (3) the relationship between the family environment and learning discipline was categorized as strong (significant). It can be seen from the majority of residents who learn to give frequent statements. Based on the results of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the relationship between the family environment and learning discipline in the equality program at PKBM Karang Putih II has been carried out well.

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of TAI model through mathematics learning. This research was a quasi-experimental research. Sampling technique in this research used Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique used documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used two-way variance analysis with unequal cell. The result of this research was that learning using TAI model is not more effective to use (Fobs< Ftable) with 1,508<4.00; Students who have high initial ability, have mathematics learning outcomes that are no better than those with moderate and low-skilled students (Fobs< Ftable) with 2,015< 3.15; There is no interaction between the learning model used and the students 'initial ability to the students' mathematics learning outcomes (Fobs< Ftable= 0,501<3.15). A suggestion on the results of this study is in the process of teaching and learning teachers should be able to create an atmosphere of learning that can make students become more active.
