Abstrak Matematika adalah salah satu matapelajaran yang dipelajari oleh peserta didik sejak jenjang Sekolah Dasar sampai di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi oleh karena itu matematika menjadi salah satu pondasi keilmuan pada jenjang dasar. Dalam proses pembelajaran matematika banyak sekali kendala yang terjadi karena matematika adalah konsep yang mempunyai tingkat abstraksi yang cukup tinggi sehingga diperlukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran oleh para pendidik untuk mengurangi tingkat abstraksi dalam belajar matematika. Konsep matematika adalah konsep dari dinamika kehidupan yang disimbolkan dengan bahasa matematis dan diselesikan menggunakan logika matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan pembelajaran matematika realistic atau pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada kehidupan nyata. Inovasi pembelajaran ini tidak mudah dikarenakan dibutuhkan konsep yang mendalam oleh para pendidik. Berdasarkan hasil focus group discussion dengan para pendidik di lingkungan SD Negeri 4 Muryolobo banyak pendidik yang kesulitan dalam menerapkan inovasi tersebut sehingga peneliti menawarkan solusi untuk membuat forum lesson study untuk kegiatan pendampingan pengembangan desain pembelajaran matematika realistik yang kemudian untuk membuat simulasi digunakan wolframs mathematica. Dalam hasil penelitian ini membawa dampak positif karena dengan adanya kegiatan lesson study dapat meningkatkan motivasi Pendidik untuk melaksanakan desain pembelajaran matematika realistik di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Muryolobo Jepara. Abstract Math is one of supervised by studied by school tuition since junior high school ground until at higher levels of education hence maths both one of the foundation to achieving qualification at the the base of this scientific. In the process of learning mathematics a lot of the obstacles because math is concept have a level of abstraction that enough high that required a innovation learning by educators to reduce a level of abstraction in learning mathematics.The concept of math is the concept of the dynamics of life symbolized to the language mathematical and resolved use mathematical logic, based on it researchers interested to apply learning mathematics realistic or learning based on real life. Innovation learning this is not easy because needed concept depth by educator. Based on the results of focus group discussion with educators in the neighborhood of ElementarySchool4 of muryolobo many educator who difficulty in applying innovation so the researchers with solution to make the forum as well as the learned study to mentoring activity design development learning mathematics realistic after you make simulation used wolframs mathematica.In the result of this research give positive impact because with the activities as well as the learned study can increased the motivation educator to implement design learning mathematics realistic in the neighborhood Elementary Schools 4 of Muryolobo. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk, 1) meningkatkan kualitas perencanaan pembelajaran biologi (penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran) dengan menerapkan pola lesson study di SMA Negeri 1 Lembar, 2) meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran biologi dengan menerapkan pola lesson study di SMA Negeri 1 Lembar, dan 3) meningkatkan kualitas cara mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pola lesson study di SMA Negeri 1 Lembar. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh melalui kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini antara lain, 1) secara praksis dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran biologi melalui penerapan model-model pembelajaran inovatif denganpola lesson studi, 2) dapat mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru khususnya dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan pola lesson studi, 3) hasil yang akan diperoleh dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevalusai pembelajaran biologi dengan pola lesson studi.  Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini akan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu 1) sosialisasi dan focus group discussion tentang materi lesson study, 2) pendampingan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pola lesson studi, 3) pendampingan pada saat melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan pola lesson studi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini antara lain adalah, 1) diskusi informasi terkait dengan konsep, prosedur, best practice tentang lesson study, 2) praktek langsung penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan pola lesson studi. Hasil yang diharapkan dapat dicapai melalui kegiatan ini sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah direncanakan, yaitu 1) meningkatnya pemahaman pendidik biologi tentang konsep dan prosedur pembelajaran biologi dengan pola lesson studi, 2) meningkatnya keterampilan pedidik biologi dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajan biologi dengan pola lesson studi, dan 3) meningkatnya keterampilan pendidik biologi dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan dengan pola lesson studi.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pendidik Biologi; Kegiatan Pembelajaran; Lesson Study.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to develop a methodology which amalgamates quantitative and qualitative approaches to determine the best placement of mobile logistics hubs (MLH) to be established in different parts of Nepal as a part of real-life project, “Augmentation of National and Local-Level Emergency Logistics Preparedness in Nepal” (2017–2020), implemented by the World Food Programme in cooperation with the Government of Nepal.Design/methodology/approachThe study develops a methodology using a combination of a modified version of the maximal covering location problem (MCLP) and focus group discussion. The MCLP model is used to determine the optimal number and spatial location of MLHs, and focus group discussion is used to identify the five first-priority strategic MLH locations using expert knowledge.FindingsThe authors identify the five first-priority locations for establishing MLHs using an amalgamation of quantitative approach (mathematical model) and qualitative approach (focus group discussion). By amalgamating mathematical model with expert knowledge, findings acceptable to a wide range of stakeholders are obtained. The focus group discussion helps to pinpoint the location of MLHs to city-level granularity which is otherwise impossible with data available on hand.Research limitations/implicationsAlthough multiple experts’ judgements were obtained via focus group discussion, subjectivity and possible bias is inevitable. Overall, the quantitative results of the study are purely based on the data available during the study period; therefore, having updated data could possibly improve the quality of the results.Originality/valueThis study is the first of its kind that uses an amalgamation of mathematical model and expert knowledge to determine the strategic locations of MLHs and has been successful to an extent that the selected locations have been vetted by the government of Nepal for establishing MLHs and are undergoing implementation in real life. This study also considers multiple disaster scenarios and employs the concepts of human development, disaster risk and transportation accessibility to reflect Nepal's socioeconomic, geo-climatic and topographical features.

AbstractThe 2014 eruption of Kelud Volcano has brought various effects on the surrounding agriculture. Aside from negative impact, it affected the potentials of agricultural land positively. This research analyzed the optimization of eruption-affected land using several steps. The first step was land suitability analysis with multicriteria assessment and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. In addition to the physical analysis, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was performed in the second step to identify the community’s perception of the eruption impact. The research produced land suitability maps consisting of the following classification: S1 (64.74%), S2 (31.51%), and S3 (3.75%). The maps revealed that the majority of the land in Kelud Volcano had the potentials for agricultural development. These findings were supported by the perception of the local community, which argued that they could significantly benefit from the positive impact of the eruption. Abstrak Erupsi gunungapi Kelud pada tahun 2014 membawa dampak yang beragam terhadap kondisi pertanian di sekitarnya. Selain dampak negatif, erupsi gunungapi Kelud membawa dampak positif khususnya pada potensi lahan terdampak yang perlu dioptimalkan. Melalui penelitian ini, kajian optimalisasi potensi lahan terdampak erupsi dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan. Tahap pertama berupa analisis kesesuaian lahan melalui penilaian multikriteria dan teknologi Sistem Informasi geografis (SIG). Selain kajian fisik, kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) merupakan tahapan kedua yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terkait dengan dampak erupsi Gunungapi Kelud. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan peta kesesuaian dengan kelas kesesuaian S1 (64,74%), S2 (31,51%), S3 (3,75%). Berdasarkan hasil pemetaan ini, sebagian besar wilayah Gunungapi Kelud berpotensi untuk pengembangan pertanian. Hal ini didukung dengan persepsi masyarakat kawasan Gunungapi Kelud yang berpendapat bahwa dampak positif erupsi dirasakan secara signifikan.

Teachers’ diagnostic practice on students-difficulties is one of the important steps in designing and managing classroom lessons. The purpose of this study was to explore teachers’ perception and practices regarding diagnosing students’ learning difficulties. The participants of the study were 28 Indonesian mathematics teachers of Junior High School. The data was collected through a Focus Group Discussion and a teacher questionnaire. The data were analyzed qualitatively to describe how the teachers perceive learning difficulties and how the teachers diagnosed students’ learning difficulties. The results of the analysis reveal that the teachers do not yet perform an in-depth diagnosis of students’ difficulties in learning mathematics. The teachers only focus on the mathematics topics and non-mathematical issues, instead of on students’ thinking process. The teachers also do not differentiate the diagnosis, evaluation, and prediction test. With regard to the strategies used by the teachers to diagnose students’ difficulties, analyzing students’ responses to tests was the majority. In this respect, observing students’ learning process during classroom activities is rarely done by the teachers in the purpose of diagnosing students’ learning difficulties. The results of the diagnosis are mainly used as the basis for remedial and drill and practices. The results imply that more support is needed for teachers to improve their competences particularly in diagnosing students’ thinking process difficulties when learning mathematics.

The purpose of this research was to reveal whether the Guidance and Counseling module designed for increasing the students’ self-esteem had been proper in terms of content and appearance, and to describe the usability level of the Guidance and Counseling module to increase the students’ self-esteem. This research applied ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The subjects of the research consisted of 6 experts to see the properness of the module and 3 Guidance and Counseling teachers to see the usability level of the module. This research was conducted by trying out the product and through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis and inferensial statistic. Based on these results, in general, the prototype of Guidance and Counseling module designed for increasing the students’ self-esteem had been proper and could be used by the Guidance and Counseling teachers to increase the students’ self-esteem.

<p><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis terjemahan <em>turn</em> yang mengakomodasi terjadinya <em>flouting </em>maksim prinsip kerjasama (PK) dalam novel <em>The Cairo Affair</em> (TCA)<em>.</em> Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik penerjemahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi jenis <em>flouting </em>maksim PK yang terjadi dalam ujaran teks sumber maupun teks sasaran dan menjelaskan makna implikatur pada novel TCA; (2) mendeskripsikan teknik penerjemahan dari <em>turn</em> yang mengakomodasi flouting maksim PK; dan (3) mengetahui hubungan dari teknik penerjemahan terhadap kualitas terjemahan, yang meliputi keakuratan dan keberterimaan</p><p><strong>Metodologi:</strong> Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif induktif. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari novel TCA; dan informan untuk menilai kualitas terjemahan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengkajian dokumen, kuisioner dan <em>Focus Group Discussion</em> (FGD).</p><p>Result: Jenis <em>flouting </em> maksim PK dibagi menjadi dua menurut jumlahnya, yaitu tunggal dan ganda, dan mayoritas didominasi oleh <em>flouting</em> maksim tunggal, yaitu flouting maksim relasi pada domain –P –D. Terdapat 12 teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan penerjemah untuk menerjemahkan <em>turn</em> yang mengakomodasi <em>flouting </em>maksim PK, yaitu teknik kesepdanan lazim, variasi, peminjaman (murni dan naturalisasi), amplifikai (penambahan dan eksplisitasi), reduksi, kalke, harfiah, transposisi, modulasi, kreasi diskursif, generalisasi, dan adaptasi. Kualitas terjemahan dinilai dari dua aspek yaitu keakuratan dan keberterimaan. Dari temuan teknik tersebut dapat dihasilkan terjemahan <em>turn</em> yang akurat dan berterima. Keberterimaan dalam penelitian ini selain dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan kata, dipengaruhi juga oleh domain hubungan antara peserta tutur. Tingkat keberterimaan yang kurang di karenakan penerapan teknik variasi pada domain +P +D. Pemilihan kata yang tidak tepat juga berpengaruh besar terhadap keberterimaan pada domain +P –D. Data pada domain +P –D menunjukkan bahwa penutur yang memiliki kedudukan lebih tinggi dari mitra tuturnya, seharusnya memakai bahasa yang informal bukan formal.</p><p>Kesimpulan: Teknik kesepadanan lazim memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap kualitas terjemahan dilihat dari aspek keakuratan pesan dan keberterimaan. Sedangkan, teknik harfiah dan kreasi diskursif menghasilkan kualitas terjemahan yang kurang akurat dan kurang berterima. Teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan tidak menimbulkan pergeseran daya pragmatis dalam terjemahannya, namun memiliki pengaruh terhadap kekauratan pesannya.</p><p> </p><p>Kata kunci: <em>flouting</em> maksim PK, hubungan antara peserta tutur, teknik penerjemahan, kualitas terjemahan.</p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong>Abstract </strong></p><p><strong>Background:</strong> This research discusses a turn translation analysis which accommodates a flouting maxim of cooperative principle (CP) in The Cairo Affair novel (TCA). This research applies pragmatics translational approach. The aims of this research are: (1) to identify the types of flouting maxims CP that occur in source text or target text and to explain the implicature meaning in TCA novel; (2) to describe the translation techniques used in translating turns which accommodate flouting maxim of CP; and (3) to find out the relationship of translation techniques towards the translation quality, which includes accuracy and acceptability.</p><p><strong>Methodology: </strong>This is inductive descriptive- qualitative research. The data sources of this research are taken from TCA novel and informants for assessing the translation quality. The data were collected by a document analysis, questionnaire, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD).</p><p><strong>Result: </strong>The types of flouting maxim of CP are divided into two according to the number of maxim flouted, single flouted and double flouted, and are dominated by a single flouted maxim, such as flouting maxim of relation in –P –D domain. There are 12 translation techniques used in translating turns, namely, established equivalent techniques, variation, borrowing (pure and naturalized), amplification (addition and explicitation), reduction, <em>calque</em>, literal, transposition, modulation, and adaptation. The translation quality is assessed in two aspects such as accuracy and acceptability. The translation techniques produce accurate and acceptable turn translation. The acceptability is also influenced by domain participant’s relationship. Less acceptable quality of translation is caused by the use of variation techniques in +P +D domain. Incorrect word selection influences the acceptability too in +P –D domain. The data shows that the speaker has a superior status than the listener, but the speaker prefers to use formal language rather than informal way. </p><p><strong>Conclussion: </strong>It can be concluded that established equivalent techniques has a positive impact to translation quality according to the accuracy of message and the acceptability. Meanwhile, literal and discursive creation techniques produce less accurate and less accebtable translation quality. The translation techniques used are not cause a pragmatic force shift on its translation, but it influence the message accuracy.</p><p> </p><p>Keywords: flouting maxim of CP, participant’s relationship, translation techniques, translation quality</p>

Abstract: The 2013 curriculum implies the use of authentic assessment that emphasizes on the assessment of students' readiness aspects, processes and students’ learning outcomes as a whole. The integration of the assessment of the three components will demonstrate the students' capacity, style, and learning achievement. It is important for mathematics teachers to have the ability to conduct assessments of learning and to utilize the results of those assessments for the purposes of mathematics learning. This study aims to: (1) analyze the profile of the ability of the mathematics teachers in carrying out the authentic assessment, (2) find out the profile of the mathematics teachers’ ability to apply authentic assessment results, and (3) know the constraints of the mathematics teachers in developing the authentic assessment. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method involving junior high school teachers in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaires and triangulated with documentation and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results show that the ability of the junior high school teachers in Yogyakarta in applying and using the results of authentic assessment was relatively good. The teachers used authentic assessment information to design remedial and enrichment programs. This study also reveals that the teachers still experienced difficulties in developing authentic assessment instruments. Keterpaduan penilaian ketiga komponen tersebut akan menggambarkan kapasitas, gaya, dan perolehan belajar siswa. Penting bagi guru matematika untuk memiliki kemampuan menyelenggarakan penilaian terhadap pembelajaran serta memanfaatkan hasil penilaian tersebut untuk kepentingan pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis profil kemampuan guru matematika dalam melaksanakan penilaian otentik, (2) profil kemampuan guru matematika dalam menerapkan hasil penilaian autentik, dan (3) mengetahui hambatan-hambatan dari guru matematika dalam mengembangkan penilaian otentik. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang melibatkan guru matematika SMP di Yogyakarta Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dilakukan triangulasi dengan dokumentasi dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru SMP di Yogyakarta untuk menerapkan dan menggunakan hasil penilaian otentik relatif baik. Guru telah menggunakan informasi hasil penilaian otentik untuk mendesain program remedial dan pengayaan. Studi ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa para guru juga masih mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian otentik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media self-help book untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi dengan menggunakan treatment Emotion-Focused Therapy pada peserta didik korban perundungan kelas XI di SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta dengan menggunakan random sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 63 peserta didik kelas XI. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, Focus Group Discussion, dan penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik. Hasil uji validasi dengan ahli media mendapat persentase sebesar 95% (Sangat Layak) dan ahli konten sebesar 76% (Layak). Hasil uji validasi pada kelompok kecil mendapat persentase 92% (Sangat Layak) pada penilaian media. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan media self-help book untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi dengan menggunakan treatment Emotion-Focused Therapy pada peserta didik korban bully kelas XI di SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta ini “Sangat Layak”.

With their rich multimodal and multisensory inputs, museums offer learners with a migrant background an invaluable opportunity to develop their linguistic competence and positive attitudes towards learning a L2. The aim of this article is to describe the impact on a group of migrants of an Italian L2 learning workshop held in an art museum in Venice. Qualitative data was collected through students’ focus group discussion, the museum educator’s diary and the teacher’s observation sheet. The results show that participating in such an experience can have a positive impact on students’ linguistic, affective, and intercultural spheres.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber pengetahuan keunggulan budaya daerah (localgenius knowledge) Bali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang produknya diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran seni tari berpendekatan pembelajaran terpadu (integrated learning). Tahapan pengembangan desain pembelajaran, yaitu (1) pendesainan strategi pengorganisasian isi pelajaran dan strategi penyampaian isi pelajaran serta strategi pengelolaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (2) pengujian desain pembelajaran melalui tiga tahap, yakni tahap pertama uji pakar dan pengguna/user (guru); tahap kedua uji publik melalui lokakarya (focus group discussion) dan uji coba tahap ke tiga melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Untuk keperluan pengumpulan data digunakan angket, lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, pedoman wawancara. Sesuai dengan tahapan pengembangan, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: Pertama, teori yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan desain pengorganisasian isi pelajaran, penyampaian isi pelajaran dan pengelolaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran adalah Model Kemp, Model Elaborasi, dan Component Display Theory. Untuk uji coba produk digunakan model Borg & Gall. Kedua, desain pembelajaran seni tari berbasis localgenius knowledge berpendekatan integrated learning yang telah ditinjau dan diuji coba oleh pakar, user, seniman, guru, siswa mendapat respon yang sangat positif dan ada dalam kualifikasi sangat layak. Sedangkan uji coba melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) pada siklus Idan siklus II terkatagori baik.This research aims at resulting dance teaching and learning design in elementary schools by applying the sources of Bali’s local genius knowledge. Research types is development research which provides a product which able to facilitate the process of dance teaching and learning design based on integrated learning approach. The stages of teaching and learning design development consists of; (1) the making of content organization, content delivering and teaching and learning management strategies; (2) Evaluation of teaching and learning design, which can be divided into; 1st stage is expert and user (teachers) evaluation; 2nd stages is public evaluation through focus group discussion and 3rd stage is class research. The data was collected in the form of quisioners, observations sheets, field notes and interviews guideline. Based on development stages, the results can be concluded as below: firstly, the theories which are applied to develop dance teaching and learning design of teaching, delivering and management contents are Kemp and Elaboration Models, and Component Display Theory. During the product evaluation stage the teories applied is Borg & Gall model. Secondly, teaching and learning design based on local genius using integrated learning approach has been reviewing and evaluating by experts, users, artist and students obtain positive response in excellence quality. Meanwhile, evaluation through callas activity on cycles I and II is categorized good.
