This research aims to develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure. The research method used is research development. The research used Four D Model as a guide which is implemented in four stages are define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is only up to the development stage. Research data were collected through assessment form filled by 4 validators, 2 material professional and 2 media professional. The result showed of the assessment provided by validators each aspect considered was a very good category. The conclusion shows develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure have the valid criteria in terms of content and construction.

The lack of Biology teaching materials in senior high school in the Kerinci District has promoted this research. The purpose of this development research is to produce e-modules as teaching materials used by students in Biology subjects. The model used in developing this e-module is the 4-D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Biology e-modules on plantae and animalia material based on the potential of the Kerinci region were validated by media and material experts. The results of the media expert validation obtained the final percentage of 90% (very valid category) and the material expert validation obtained a percentage of 75% (valid category). From the results of the field test, the teacher responded that the e-modules produced were suitable for use in biology class X high school learning with a percentage of 92.5% (very good category). Furthermore, e-module trials on students obtained responses that the products produced were also proper to be used in biology learning in class X of senior high school. The small group test obtained a score of 85% (excellent category) and the large group test obtained score 78.3% (good category). The use of the developed e-modules in learning resulted in a score of 76.3% (successful category).

The aim of this research is to create a teaching material and method in writing poetry using lotus techniques. This research also uses research and development methods. It is research that produces certain products and the effectiveness of their use. The product that will be produced in this research is in the form of poetry writing teaching materials developed with lotus techniques for 10th grade of Senior High School students in MAS Tahfizil Medan. The results of this study indicate that 10th grade students need new methods and teaching materials in improving their understanding in writing poetry. And after testing the lotus technique is very efficient to improve students' ability to write poetry. After the posttest and pretest results the results obtained are the low category by 3.33%, the medium category by 93.34%, and the high category by 3.33%.

The research aims at producing a valid biology module with local wisdom-based to senior high school students of Lubuklinggau. The research used research and development design with local wisdom-based. The development of the module refered to four D model which was developed by Thiagarajan. The model consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, the research was limited on the development stage, particularly on validation stage. The validity test on this stage was a theoretic validity, which is executed by the three experts. The validation included material validation, construction/media validation, and language validation. The result showed that the development met the validity criteria with material validity score 4,165; construction/media validity score 4,259; and language validity  score 4,338 categorised to be 'very valid'. In conclusion, the biology module developed with local wisdom-based to senior high school students of Lubuklinggau was valid. Keywords: validity, biology module, local wisdom

This research aims to determine student responses to the supplements based on a scientific approach to the atomic structure material. Type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting the development steps by Borg & Gall model. The subject of this study was a supplement based on a scientific approach to the Atomic Structure Material which was tested on class X students at Taman Mulia Senior High School, SMA N 1 Sungai Raya and SMAS Indonesia Muda. Supplements based on a scientific approach to the atomic structure material received responses from students in the initial field responses test with excellent criteria (85,9%). And the main field response test with excellent criteria (90,4%). According to the students response test to the supplement based on a scientific approach to the Atomic Structure Material showed that the supplement was very feasible to be used as a learning suplement for Atomic Structure Material.

A research has been done to develop student worksheet with scientific approach and discovery based learning in Acids and Bases topic to learn chemistry for grade XI senior high school and also to describe it’s validity and practicallities. The research used Research and Development (R&D) method. The model has been used is 4-D model, which consisted of define, design, develop and disseminate. Instruments of this research is questionnaire which consisted of validation sheet and practically sheet. Validity sheet was given to 4 chemistry lecturers and 2 senior high school chemistry teachers while practicallities sheet was given to 3 chemistry teachers and 25 students from SMAN 12 Padang. Based on the research, student worksheet product has been developed with scientific approach and discovery based learning in Acids and Bases topic for grade XI senior High School. The average value of validity is 0,92 which very high validity category while the average value of practicallities is 0,82 which very high practicallities category. Based on the data, it can be seen that the student worksheet on Acids and Bases topic with scientific approach and discovery based learning for grade X senior high school has very high validity level and very high practicallities level.

The purpose of this research is to result and show the validity and practicality of biology module about coordination system material based on metacognition with concept map for students in Senior High School. Type of research is research and development. This research applies 3 steps from 4D model, that are define, design, and develop. The subject of this research are 5 experts as validator, 3 teachers, and 49 students classes XI of SMAN 2 Padang. Data gained is categorized into primary data, as it is collected from validity and practicality questionnaire which is directly filled by research subjects. The data was analyzed descriptively. The result of validity is 88,5% in criteria valid, practicality by teachers is 90,4% in criteria very practice, and practicality by students is 85,8% in criteria practice. It can be concluded that the Biology Module on coordination system material based on metacognition with concept map for students in Senior High School is valid and practical.

The using of teaching materials based on local wisdom is still limited. This study aimed to develop a pocketbook based on research results of antimicrobial medicinal plants from Muko-muko and Serawai ethnics as supplementary teaching materials for senior high school students. This study was Research and Development (R&D) model by Sugiyono that consisted of five stages, namely: potential and problems analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, and design correction. The designed pocketbook was validated by learning source expert and material expert. The data obtained  were analyzed using statistical descriptive (percentage). The validation data score from learning source expert was 93.4% and material expert was 98.86% which were recognized as ‘very good’. Thus the developed pocketbook is valid as a supplementary teaching materials in biology learning for senior high school.

Excretory system material is a classified as difficult to understand by studenst because the material is still abstract, all proscesses that cannot be seen directly because they are in the human body. The limitations if learning media at SMAN 8 Padang have not supported learning on ecxcretory system material. The solution to this problem is to make interactive multimedia. This study is purpose to produce learning media products in the form of interactive multimedia based on practical on excretory system material for class XI students of SMAN 8 Padang. This type of research is research and development (R&D) research with using the 4D Model. The subject of this research was two lecturer Jurusan Biology FMIPA UNP and one teacher of SMAN 8 Padang and thirty the XI grade students of SMAN 8 Padang. The result of validation shows an average value of 91,77% with a very valid category. Based on this, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia developed is valid.

Electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions are materials consisting of theory and practicum so that teaching materials are needed that can support the characteristics of this material. The purpose of this study is to produce teaching materials in the form of integrated multi-representation and virtual laboratory based e-modules based on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material, and reveal the validity and practicality of the modules produced. This type of research is Research and Development and uses a 4-D model which includes four stages, including the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages (at this stage not done). The validity test was carried out by three chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and two chemistry teachers at SMAN 4 Pariaman using an instrument in the form of a validity questionnaire. Practical tests were carried out by three high school chemistry teachers and 25 students of class X IPA 1 in SMAN 4 Pariaman using an instrument in the form of a practical questionnaire. The average kappa moment (k) the results of the validity and practicality tests by the teacher and students of e-modules are 0.90; 0.98; 0.83 with a very high validity category, the practicality category of teachers is very high, and the practicality category of students is very high. The data shows that integrated guided inquiry-based e-modules are multi-representation and virtual laboratory on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material are valid and practical

Research development of chemistry teaching materials inquiry model with scientific approach has been done by using 4-D model which aims to increase the student concept mastery and critical thinking skills on coloid topic at senior high school. The research subject of teaching materials which tested on student of science class 11th grade in senior high school 6 Surabaya with one-group pretest-posttest design, the results from the research show that the lesson implementation plan, the student’s book and student’s worksheet were feasible, then the validation instrument were valid.  Implementation of lesson plan was good, the activity of student in learning process has increased highly, students gave the positive response to learning process, as well as concept mastery and practicing critical thinking has been achieved. The conclusion of this research, show that the chemistry teaching materials of inquiry model with scientific approach is feasible and able to increase concept mastering and practicing critical thinking of students in Senior High School. Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri dengan pendekatan scientific yang menggunakan 4-D model dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi koloid di SMA. Subyek penelitian perangkat pembelajaran yang diujicobakan pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 6 Surabaya dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest, sedangkan data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: validasi RPP, buku siswa dan LKS berkategori layak, tes penguasaan konsep dan tes berpikir kritis berkategori valid. Keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik. Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang tinggi, Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap proses pembelajaran, serta ketuntasan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis telah tercapai. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran kimia model inkuiri dengan pendekatan scientific layak dan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan melatih berpikir kritis siswa SMA.
