This study aims to analyze the effect of institutional ownership and audit committee on audit quality with financial difficulties as a moderation. This research was conducted on Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer and Industrial Goods Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2016-2020. The quantitative research method uses secondary data, namely the company's annual report that is the object of research. Analysis of the data used is logistic regression analysis. The results show that the direction of the influence of the institutional ownership variable on audit quality is positive, where institutional ownership has a significant effect on audit quality. Likewise, the direction of the impact of the audit committee on audit quality is positive but does not significantly affect audit quality. The results of the moderation show that Financial Distress can moderate institutional ownership in influencing audit quality. In contrast, after being moderated with the financial distress variable, the audit committee has a negative and significant direction, which means it can moderate the audit committee in influencing audit quality but in the opposite direction.

The information presented in the financial statements (LK) is expected to have a high integrity value. To present financial statements with integrity, it is influenced by many factors, both external and internal to the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal control (audit committee) and external supervision (institutional ownership and external audit quality), disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CRS), firm size on the integrity of financial statements. The sample of this research is companies listed on the Stock Exchange for the manufacturing sector for 3 years from 2016 to 2018 with a purpose-based sampling method in data collection. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data and data analysis is carried out by multiple regression with SPSS 25 in data processing. The results of this study provide empirical evidence that institutional ownership, audit quality, and CSR disclosure have a positive and significant effect on the integrity of financial statements. While the size of the company and the audit committee have no significant effect on the integrity of the financial statements.

This study aimed to examine the effect of good corporate Governance against tax avoidance peroxided by the book tax gap and corporate governance is peroxided by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent board, audit committee and audit quality. This study was performed on companies listed on the Stock Exchange on the observation period 2011-2014. The method used is purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 companies. The data used is secondary data that can be downloaded through www.idx.co.id and www.sahamok.com.  The results showed that the variables of the board of managerial ownership, independent directors, audit committee, and audit quality effect on tax avoidance while institutional ownership variable has no effect on tax avoidance. It is suspected that institutional ownership as a monitoring tool in any decision taken by the manager does not support an optimal oversight of management performance related to tax evasion.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v15i2.3541

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporate governance on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. The method used was purposive sampling and obtained eleven companies. Secondary data is obtained through www.idx.co.id and www.sahamok.com. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has no effect, meaning that the small size of institutional ownership has not been able to become an effective monitoring tool in reducing tax avoidance. Managerial ownership has influence. This means that managerial ownership has effectively monitored the company. The independent board of directors is influential. This means that the proportion of independent commissioners has a good performance, which can reduce tax avoidance. The audit committee has no effect. This is possible because it is not able to increase supervision of management due to limited authority. Influential audit quality. This means that the company audited by KAP The Big Four will be more trusted by the tax authorities because it has high work integrity. Executive compensation has no effect. This is possible because of the high compensation received by the executive has not been able to bridge the difference of interests between shareholders and managers.

This  research  aims to find empirical evidence  about the impact  of  workload  and  audit tenure  on  audit quality  and  using audit  committee  as  a  moderating  variable. This  research  focused  on  manufacturing companies  that  listed  on  the  Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample was collected using   purposive sampling method and resulted 31  companies as a final sample.  The  data are analyzed by using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of  this research indicate  that the  workload  has a negative  impact on  audit quality.  Audit tenure has a positive impact on audit quality. Audit committee reduces the negative impact of workload on audit quality. And audit committee reduces the positive impact of audit tenure on audit quality.

This study aims to determine the effect of the audit tenure, audit committee, and audit capacity stress on audit quality as measured by earnings surprise benchmark approach. The research used secondary data. The population was all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2015-2017. The data collection technique used is purposive sampling and 303 samples obtained data. The independent variables were audit tenure, audit committee, and audit capacity stress at the significance level of 5%.  This study using logistic regression analysis techniques. The result of the research showed that audit tenure had no significant influence on audit quality with a significance level that is equal to 0.145, audit committee had no significant influence on audit quality a significance level that is equal to 0.652, and audit capacity stress had no significant influence on audit quality a significance level that is equal to 0.522 of the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange

This study aims to examine the effect of Audit Committee, Independent Commissioner, Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Earnings Management to Related Party Transaction Disclosure. This type of research is quantitative reseacrh using secondary data of financial statements from manufacturing sector companies during 2016 to 2018 obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique that used is purposive sampling. The results showed that the Audit Committee, Independent Commissioners, Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership and Profit Management were able to influence the disclosure of related party transactions by 13%, while the remaining 87% were influenced by other variables outside this study. Partially, institutional ownership and managerial ownership significantly influence the disclosure of related party transactions. While the audit committee, independent commissioners and earnings management do not affect the disclosure of related party transactions.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilas, ukuran perusahaan, kepemilikan institusional, dan komite audit terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2019. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 84 perusahaan manufaktur selama 3 tahun. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode regresi logistik. One of the biggest state's income is tax. In Indonesia, almost all activities carried out by the public are taxable, for example; grocery for daily activities, electronic equipment purchased, and employee income tax. Taxes have a very important role on state revenue because of taxes were main sources in contributing funds used to finance government spending and national development, but for the tax company is a burden that reduces the company's net profit, so the company will try to reduce the tax burden. To control the amount of tax payments is through tax avoidance, known as tax avoidance which is part of tax planning. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of financial distress, loss compensation, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, audit quality, company size, and return on assets to tax avoidance actions. The companies used in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a research period of 2016-2018. The number of research samples used were 162 data. The method of sampling used purposive sampling and this research used multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis. This research shows that financial distress, tax loss carried forward, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, audit quality, firm size, and return on asset have no influence on tax avoidance. This research shows that financial distress, tax loss carried forward, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, audit quality, firm size, and return on asset have no influence on tax avoidance. Suggestions for further research to extend the study period of more than 3 years. In addition, it is hoped that further researchers can replace or add other independent variables such as sales growth. This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Companies need an optimal capital structure so that there are no problems that will later impact the risk of high corporate bankruptcy. Capital structure will be optimal if there is no agency problem. Agency problems occur because of differences in interests between managers, investors, and creditors. To reduce agency conflict, corporate governance is needed. Institutional ownership and the size of the audit committee are used in this study as part of corporate governance. Debt to equity ratio was used to measure capital structure in this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 76 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that institutional ownership has a significant effect on capital structure, while the audit committee has no significant effect on capital structure. Keywords: capital structure, corporate governance, institusional ownership, audit committee

This study aims to determine the effect of audit tenure, company size, and KAP's reputation on audit quality. The theory used in this research is agency theory. This research used quantitative research method. This data collected was secondary data by documentation and literature study. The sample used in this study was manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2018.  The sample of this study amounted to 128 observational data from 32 companies chosen by purposive sampling method. The analysis used logistic regression analysis. The results showed audit tenure and KAP's reputation have a significant effect on audit quality, while firm size has no significantly effect on audit quality.
