With the growing interest in technological solutions aimed at combating money laundering, several studies involving the application of technology have been carried out. However, there were no records of studies aimed at identifying, selecting, rigorously analyzing and synthesizing the literature on solutions that adopt technology to combat money laundering. This paper presents a systematic review of the literature on the application of technological solutions in the fight against money laundering. Seventy-one papers were selected from the 795 studies initially retrieved for data extraction, analysis and synthesis based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results obtained with the data analysis made it possible to identify a general categorization of the domains of application of the approaches, as well as a mapping and classification of the support mechanisms adopted. The findings of this review showed that, among the application domain categories identified, the detection of suspicious transactions attracted greater attention from researchers. Regarding the support mechanisms adopted, the application of data mining techniques was used more extensively to detect money laundering. Topics for further research and refinement were also identified, such as the need for a better description of data analysis to provide more convincing evidence to support the benefits presented.

Integrative reviews are invaluable for synthesizing literature to guide practice. This review examined the nature and range of data analysis approaches and the methods used for data presentation in integrative reviews. We reviewed 151 integrative reviews published from January to December 2019 in nursing journals listed in Journal Citation Report 2020. Summary tables were used for data extraction and researcher-developed questions-based process for synthesis. Data analysis and synthesis methods were categorized as non-specific, inductive, deductive, and framework-based. Majority of reviews did not explicitly delineate data analysis and synthesis methods (n = 67) or used inductive methods (n = 55). Limited reviews used deductive (n = 13) and framework-based methods (n = 13). Most of the reviews used narrative descriptions for presentations of findings, but some reviews also used innovative tables, concept maps, frameworks, and word clouds to enhance data presentation. The findings provide a comprehensive overview of the diversity of methods for data analysis and presentation in integrative reviews.

With the growing concern about the spread of new respiratory infectious diseases, several studies involving the application of technology in the prevention of these diseases have been carried out. Among these studies, it is worth highlighting the importance of those focused on the primary forms of prevention, such as social distancing, mask usage, quarantine, among others. This importance arises because, from the emergence of a new disease to the production of immunizers, preventive actions must be taken to reduce contamination and fatalities rates. Despite the considerable number of studies, no records of works aimed at the identification, registration, selection, and rigorous analysis and synthesis of the literature were found. For this purpose, this paper presents a systematic review of the literature on the application of technological solutions in the primary ways of respiratory infectious diseases transmission prevention. From the 1139 initially retrieved, 219 papers were selected for data extraction, analysis, and synthesis according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results enabled the identification of a general categorization of application domains, as well as mapping of the adopted support mechanisms. Findings showed a greater trend in studies related to pandemic planning and, among the support mechanisms adopted, data and mathematical application-related solutions received greater attention. Topics for further research and improvement were also identified such as the need for a better description of data analysis and evidence.

This study aims to determine the methods of the Beautiful Fajar Program on Radio Citra Progo in improving people's religious understanding, knowing the classification of preachers for the Fajar Indah program, and preaching messages from the Fajar Indah program. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection in this study uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used the interpretation of logic connected with the context of Islamic Broadcast Communication. The results showed that Citra Progo Radio in the Fajar Indah program used a lecture method with a relaxed nature when broadcasting. The da'i classification in this da'wah broadcast, can be seen from the broadcaster's scientific insights in mastering the Qur'an and Hadith as a source of Islamic law and discipline to carry out their duties as radio broadcast preachers. In the broadcast of the Fajar Indah Program there is a da'wah message in the form of Aqeedah material to increase public trust in God, faith in the pillars of faith and pillars of Islam, as well as moral material ordered by God and exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad, the material of worship which conveys the procedure of worship to God including marriage law , neighborly law, shodaqoh, prayer, fasting and delivering material about the Muslim holidays.

Purpose This paper aims to illustrate how illegally obtained funds are laundered through raw diamonds in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Design/methodology/approach To identify specific money laundering techniques involving raw diamonds, this study used a qualitative content analysis of data collected from 60 semi-standardized interviews with both criminals and prevention experts and a quantitative survey of 200 compliance officers. Findings Raw diamonds are extraordinarily suitable for money laundering in European German-speaking countries. In particular, they may be used in all three stages of the laundering process, namely, placement, layering and integration. Research limitations/implications Because the qualitative findings are based on semi-standardized interviews, their insights are limited to the perspectives of the 60 interviewees. Practical implications Identifying gaps in existing anti-money laundering mechanisms should provide compliance officers, law enforcement agencies and legislators with valuable insights into how criminals operate. Originality/value While prior studies focus on the methods used by organizations to combat money laundering and how to improve anti-money laundering measures, this paper investigates how money launderers operate to avoid detection, thereby illustrating authentic experiences. Its findings provide valuable insights into the minds of money launderers and combines criminal perspective with that of prevention experts.

In marketing, problems such as the increase in customer data, the increase in the difficulty of data extraction and access, the lack of reliability and accuracy of data analysis, the slow efficiency of data processing, and the inability to effectively transform massive amounts of data into valuable information have become increasingly prominent. In order to study the effect of customer response, based on machine learning algorithms, this paper constructs a marketing customer response scoring model based on machine learning data analysis. In the context of supplier customer relationship management, this article analyzes the supplier’s precision marketing status and existing problems and uses its own development and management characteristics to improve marketing strategies. Moreover, this article uses a combination of database and statistical modeling and analysis to try to establish a customer response scoring model suitable for supplier precision marketing. In addition, this article conducts research and analysis with examples. From the research results, it can be seen that the performance of the model constructed in this article is good.

Background. The aim of this study was to perform a systematic review of the literature on the efficacy of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (PDTa) on cariogenic dental biofilm.Types of Studies Reviewed. Studiesin vivo,in vitro, andin situwere included. Articles that did not address PDTa, those that did not involve cariogenic biofilm, those that used microorganisms in the plankton phase, and reviews were excluded. Data extraction and quality assessments were performed independently by two raters using a scale.Results. Two hundred forty articles were retrieved; only seventeen of them met the eligibility criteria and were analyzed in the present review. Considerable variability was found regarding the methodologies and application protocols for antimicrobial PDTa. Two articles reported unfavorable results.Practical Implications. The present systematic review does not allow drawing any concrete conclusions regarding the efficacy of antimicrobial PDTa, although this method seems to be a promising option.

Objective. To systematically review the effectiveness of intervention studies promoting diet and physical activity (PA) in nurses. Data Source. English language manuscripts published between 1970 and 2014 in PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, and EMBASE, as well as those accessed with the PICO tool, were reviewed. Study Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria. Inclusion criteria comprised (1) nurses/student nurses working in a health care setting and (2) interventions where PA and/or diet behaviors were the primary outcome. Exclusion criteria were (1) non–peer-reviewed articles or conference abstracts and (2) interventions focused on treatment of chronic conditions or lifestyle factors other than PA or diet in nurses. Data Extraction. Seventy-one full texts were retrieved and assessed for inclusion by two reviewers. Data were extracted by one reviewer and checked for accuracy by a second reviewer. Data Synthesis. Extracted data were synthesized in a tabular format and narrative summary. Results. Nine (n = 737 nurses) studies met the inclusion criteria. Quality of the studies was low to moderate. Four studies reported an increase in self-reported PA through structured exercise and goal setting. Dietary outcomes were generally positive, but were only measured in three studies with some limitations in the assessment methods. Two studies reported improved body composition without significant changes in diet or PA. Conclusions. Outcomes of interventions to change nurses’ PA and diet behavior are promising, but inconsistent. Additional and higher quality interventions that include objective and validated outcome measures and appropriate process evaluation are required.
