Landsenses ecology has been widely applied in research into sustainable consciousness and behavior and the notion of landsense creation realizes the unity of the macro physical senses and micro psychological perceptions. At present, however, a great deal of current research about landsenses ecology has concentrated on the dimension of the physical senses, while there have been relatively few studies on the dimension of its psychological perception. This paper begins by clarifying the concept of self and explaining out that the psychological perception mechanism of landsense creation represents a process of guiding people to know themselves and realize their ecological self. It then utilizes the example of low-carbon discourse to explore the factors contributing to the resonance of ecological self-vision. Our results show that the perceived self-efficacy, environmental concern and environmental knowledge triggered by ecological discourse are the main factors contributing to the resonance of sustainable vision, thus clarifying the indicators of landsenses ecology at the level of psychological perception. Our purpose is to effectively guide the landsense creation of harmonious discourse and promote people to engage in potentially more sustainable behavior.

There is little documentation of how and when joint attention emerges in blind infants because the study of this ability has been predominantly reliant on visual information. Ecological self-knowledge, which is necessary for joint attention, is impaired in blind infants and is evidenced by their reaching for objects on external cues, which also marks the beginning of their Stage 4 understanding of space and object. Entry into Stage 4 should occur before joint attention emerges in these infants. In a case study of two totally blind infants, the development of joint attention was longitudinally examined during Stage 4 in monthly sessions involving interactions with objects and familiar adults. The interactions were scored for behavior preliminary to joint attention, behavior liberally construed as joint attention, and behavior conservatively construed as joint attention. Behavior preliminary to joint attention occurred throughout Stage 4; behavior suggestive of joint attention by both liberal and conservative standards emerged initially in Stage 4 and became prevalent by mid to late Stage 4. The findings are discussed in terms of how they inform our thinking about the development of joint attention with respect to the importance of vision, cognition, social context, language, and early self-knowledge.

To develop low-carbon tourism attraction is conducive to the transformation of tourism industry’s development mode. It can also help China to take the carbon-reducing responsibility in the world, reduce carbon emission and develop low-carbon economy and society. This paper takes Beijing Badachu Park as the case study to analyze the relationship between the development of low-carbon tourism attraction and the tourists’ low-carbon cognition. It shows that there’re two kinds of low-carbon cognition, one is “to know it” and the other is “to do it”. But the reality is there always has some inconformity between consciousness and behavior in low carbon tourism which is bad for the construction of tourism attractions. This article put forward some suggestions to solve this problem: “hardware” transformation, scientifically planning and management, to intervene tourists’ low carbon cognition through “attraction also community” ways, etc.

The need to transition to low-carbon mobilities is informed by evidence of extensive car dependence. This transition will require changes to places, technologies, policies, ideas and behaviours. But these changes will not hinge solely on innovation, or ‘new’ modes of transport. Low carbon mobilities are already being practised by some social groups – even in heavily car dependent places. This case study foregrounds one such group: Chinese migrants living in Sydney, Australia. Chinese migrants own fewer cars and use them less extensively than the broader Australian population. The Chinese migrants who were interviewed in this study intentionally oriented their lives around public transport nodes. They did so based on pre-migration transport norms – developed in contexts where public transport use remains ubiquitous – rather than out of environmental concern. Nonetheless, interviewees’ ongoing use of public transport post-migration has important environmental benefits. In this case study, attention is given to understanding pre-migration norms, embodied experiences and transport habits. It considers how low carbon transport habits can be sustained and lost between different places. Greater attentiveness to the transport practices of migrants is needed, as are resources to support and sustain their lower-carbon mobilities over the longer-term.

Chinese people who have become well off are experiencing a shift of consumption concept from traditional and practical style to luxurious style. It is time to understand the Chinese consumption demand and behavior in luxury products. Based on the previous researches and by way of intensive talks and questionnaire survey, this article takes advantage of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) to conduct factor analysis, then to conclude the consumer motivation for luxury products in China as four main factors: “active social motivation”, “passive social motivation”, “desirable personal motivation”, and “hedonistic personal motivation”.

The factor analysis was used to find out the factors affecting consumer preferences for UHT milk and to reduce these factors. As for the segmentation of consumers and bringing out the profile of each segment, cluster analysis was used. According to the results, 95.00% of households consumed UHT milk. 18 factors that are affecting the consumption of UHT milk were reduced to five main factors with factor analysis. The factor scores which determined with factor analysis were divided into three clusters by cluster analysis. UHT milk for consumers entering the first cluster has because of homogenous and packaging as well as intrinsic and extrinsic properties for advertising and price advantage is preferred. UHT milk for consumers entering the second cluster has ease of preparation and transportation, and confidential properties are preferred by reason. On the contrary, consumers entering the third cluster prefer to UHT milk for a good diet product.

This research applies the binding communication model to the sustainable communication strategies implemented in most hotels. The binding communication model links a persuasive message with the implementation of a low-cost commitment to strengthen the link between the attitudes and behavior of those receiving the message. We compared the effectiveness of a classical communication strategy (n = 86) with that of a binding communication strategy (n = 101) to encourage guests to choose sustainable behavior. Our results show that using the binding communication strategy generates significantly more sustainable behavior in guests than using the classical communication strategy. We discuss our results and suggest future avenues of research.
