This research is motivated by the unique tradition of a wedding or baralek party in Kanagarian Inderapura, Pancung Soal Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District, in Kanagarian Inderapura, the bridegroom or bridegroom starts to use suntiang as a bride in Minangkabau. This article was written to describe the tradition of basuntiang for marapulai in customary marriages in Kanagarian Inderapura, Pancung Soal Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District. The benefits of writing this article are expected to be able to provide more knowledge of the marital traditions that exist in the South Coastal District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research subjects are citizens of Kanagarian Inderapura, Savings of Pancung Problem in the South Coastal District of Pesisir. Data collection techniques through interviews. The result of this research is to preserve local wisdom by cultivating the tradition of basuntiang for marapulai in customary marriages in Kanagarian Inderapura, Pancung Soal Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District which is different from other regions in Minangkabau. In other areas marapakai mamakai saluak, but in the Nagari area Inderapura started using suntiang as a head covering when holding a wedding party. The use of suntiang the groom (marapulai) is a custom that has been passed down through generations and inherited from ancestors.

The purpose of this research was to find a solution during the pandemic recovery covid-19 with the strengthening of alternative food entrepreneurship sorghum. The research method uses qualitative research methods in entrepreneurship, descriptive qualitative action research  with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation, after the data collected is then analyzed statistically descriptive. The results showed that sorghum can be used as a national food stock facing a crisis and pandemic covid-19, sorghum food stock in the form of grains, rice, flour, soft brand sorghum, and various processed sorghum. National sorghum food stock strategy includes strengthening clusters and production centers, silo utilization cooperation, socialization of various sorghum products, and strengthening Center of Sorghum Entrepreneur (CSE) and Sorghum Entrepreneurship Unit (SEU).

Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe parenting patterns in developing children's social care. Parenting is a pattern of interaction between parents and children during care that has an important role in shaping the child's personality. Social care is a caring attitude towards the surrounding community. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research location is Glengseran Hamlet, Suci Village, Panti District, Jember District. The method of selecting informants is purposive. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman's theories namely condensation, presentation, verification and conclusion. Data validity uses source triangulation.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola asuh orang tua dalam mengembangkan kepedulian sosial anak. Pola asuh orang tua merupakan pola interaksi antara orang tua dan anaknya selama pengasuhan yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian anak. Kepedulian sosial merupakan sikap perduli terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian yakni Dusun Glengseran Desa Suci Kecamatan Panti Kabupatrn Jember. Metode pemilihan informan dengan purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Teori Miles dan Huberman yakni kondensasi, penyajian, verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber.   Kata Kunci: pola asuh, orang tua, kepedulian sosial

The problem that has occurred in schools is in managing education operational aid funds in the current year is not in accordance with the recording of recapitulation of data for students who receive funds resulting in each area in use there is a difference or the remaining funds and less effective in managing expenditure per student by comparing school districts which is based on the previous year's budget that has already happened. This study aims to analyze the management of school fund management towards school development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research by explaining the function of management. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews with the principal, deputy headmaster of the curriculum, the head of school administration, observation, and documents relating to the accountability of funds. The results of the study are grouping funds according to school programs, there is no waste of funds based on the percentage of funding funding per quarter. The Principal builds a system of monitoring the use of funds in an accountable and accurate manner in achieving the vision and mission of the school

This research discusses the limas house of Javanese society. One of the Javanese traditional houses. The purpose of this research is to describe the Javanese people's view of life towards the limasan house shape, to describe the Javanese norms towards the limasan house shape, to describe the harmonization principle of Javanese society towards the limasan house shape, to describe the Javanese people's respect for the limasan house shape, to describe the physical dimensions. Javanese society towards the shape of the limasan house, describes the metaphysical dimension of the Javanese society towards the shape of the limasan house. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation. The results of the research on the Limasan traditional house building based on the Javanese view of life based on their beliefs can be seen from the Javanese house buildings in the Yogyakarta and Surakarta areas which are close to the Keraton that the house building faces south based on the location of Ratu Nyai Roro Kidul. Based on the duality and centrality category of Javanese house buildings. Based on the religious norms adopted by the Javanese, the house buildings are more similar to the Hindu religious buildings, although not all Javanese people embrace the Hindu and Buddhist religions. The form of the building which is simple and has similarities between one house and another is a symbol that the Javanese people uphold the value of harmony. The construction of the Limasan house is based on the principle of respect for the Javanese people which is shown from the front of the house which is commonly called the emper. The empire in the limasan house is made shorter than the first inner building of the limasan house. The simple personality of the people can be seen clearly from the limasan house building. Each part of the house has a metaphysical value which is believed to be the true meaning of the part of the limasan house.

This study aims to find out the shape and proportion of monument statues of veterans in the building yudha bhakti DPD legion of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan. The problem is focused on the shape and structure of the proportions of the sculpture that are less in accordance with anatomical theory. Data collection procedures are carried out through observations, interviews and documentation studies. The data is observed by deciphering and clarifying based on the anatomical form of the statue. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, because it is a research that seeks to break down, explain and describe all data obtained from research. The results showed that veteran monument statues still have shortcomings, both in terms of shape and proportion, but this does not reduce the implied meaning of the monument statues of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan.

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the management of the school operational assistance fund (BOS). This research was conducted at SDN 34./1 Teratai. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Where the focus of this research is to describe / describe the Implementation of BOS SD Fund Management in 34 / I Teratai Public Elementary School, Muara Bulian Subdistrict, Batang Hari Regency, 2017. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the implementation of the management of BOS funds at SDN 34 / I Teratai has been running as it should in accordance with the Responsibility instructions for the use of BOS funds in 2017 even though the management of BOS funds has been carried out as well as possible but errors and shortcomings are still found even though only a small scope such as misplaced position and tax issues and even then it does not happen again but it is not an intentional element of the BOS funds manager and the problems encountered can still be corrected and resolved properly.

The making of penjor for the Hindu holy day of Galungan shows the existence of innovation and excessive creativities. This research was aimed at investigating the phenomenon of penjor Galungan style in the contemporary Bali which viewed from the community involvement, the use of material, and the emergence of spiritual meaning. This study used descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection was carried out through observation and literature review. The analysis shows that the Hindu community in Bali currently prefers buying the elements of penjor for rather than make by themselves; the making of penjor Galungan uses contemporary available material; and the structural spiritual meaning of penjor Galungan is being embellished by the domination of contemporary spiritual meanings.

This study aims to reveal: 1) The form of Islamic education for children in households in Morella village, Central Maluku district, 2) Constraints and solutions adopted in the implementation of Islamic education in households in Morella village, Central Maluku Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomenolological approach with data collection procedures, namely observations related to forms of Islamic education for children in the household, and interviews related to the obstacles found by parents in educating children with Islamic education and the solutions made. Data collection procedures are carried out by collecting data related to forms of Islamic education in the household, presenting data that is included in the focus of the study and making conclusions. The results found: 1) the form of Islamic education in the household includes faith education, including: a) Opening the life of a child with the sentence Laa Ilaaha Illallaah, by various ways of tending the child at birth, child technique, breastfeeding a child, cutting / shaving hair or aqiqah, circumcision, b) introduce halal and haram, and c) reading the Qur'an. Education in aspects of worship include: a) Teaching Salat, b) fast and c) give alms. Education in moral aspects includes: a) Prohibition of traveling and b) Behaving honestly. Education in social aspects: a) Do good to parents, b) Maintain friendship with relatives, c) Do good to neighbors, d) Respect for older people, e) Ethics of greeting, f) Ethics of eating and drinking, and g) Meet friend's invitation.

Efforts to make schools as learning organizations whose citizens have lifelong literature by utilizing their resources. The main supporter of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) has been owned, namely the SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang library that provides a variety of quality reading books, but in real interest in reading and intensity of borrowing books by students is still minimal. The information obtained is the existence of various things that are considered as obstacles, including (1) the availability of quality books in the neighbourhood, (2) the distance between classes to the library room that is not close, (3) the complexity of the procedure for borrowing books in the library, (4) the time limit for borrowing at the library, (5) there is reluctance towards library staff. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe literacy planning in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang, (2) describe the implementation of literacy activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang, (3) describe the literacy supervision activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The Research Method used descriptive qualitative research. The study was conducted in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The research subjects were students of class X in the academic year 2017/2018, data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation study. As well as triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure the validity of the data. Evaluation results Implementation of the reading corner policy beginning in June 2018 in class X students in the academic year 2017/2018 was that all students (100%) have borrowed library books, all students (100%) have read books non-subjects, 100% of students have made a resume of the contents of at least 1 non-text reading book that they read, 69.6% of students felt that the presentation of the results of resume books can improve the ability to speak in front of the crowd. This study concluded that (1) The planning of the liberation movement in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang was realized by the formation of the GLS team, Cadre Officers and library classes/reading corners. (2) The implementation of literacy activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang has shown progress shown by the enthusiasm of students to read to increase. (3) The supervision of the literacy movement in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang is jointly conducted between the GLS team and Indonesian language teachers.

Margondang belonging to the ethnic of Angkola, becomes an important part of a celebration, especially in a wedding. Traditionally Angkola Ethnic Wedding can be said to be invalid if both families, either from the groom's family or  the bride’s do not carry out this Margondang tradition. At the very first glance Margondang is a traditional dance called a tortor having movements as a medium of communication on moral values, intended not only for the bride and groom to live together, but for all the guests and participants present to be more sensitive in carrying out life. Sensitivity here is certainly related to the harmonious relationship among humans and between humans with nature so that prosperous and peaceful life can be obtained. This is the core of the implementation of Margondang tradition. This study aims at analysing the moral values of Margondang, conducted by means of  descriptive qualitative research method.  Data collection procedures are supported by observation,  interview and questionnaire  techniques, covering 20 respondents chosen randomly in randomly-selected weddings in Medan.  The results show that there are three points of moral value in Margondang: brotherhood, respect and responsibility.
