There are relatively many Indonesian fairy tales that are spread in the community, have characters with good and evil temperaments. Usually take folk tales about teaching goodness, behaving smartly, and being able to distinguish between good and bad. Also teaches children not to be arrogant, insulting other people. The learning process is usually in the delivery of material using only pictures, dolls, or videos that are commonly seen by children. Conventional media used for learning reduce children's enthusiasm. On this occasion, to answer the problem of media that is less attractive to children by using Augmented Reality (AR), because it can help visualize abstract concepts so that it can be used for understanding the image object and the structure of an object model. results of making applications using Augmented Reality, assessed from the aspects of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, technological, and the benefits of getting good interpretation results.

AR dapat digunakan untuk membantu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak untuk pemahaman dan struktur suatu model objek. Beberapa aplikasi AR dirancang untuk memberikan informasi yang lebih detail pada pengguna dari objek nyata. Media merupakan sebuah alat atau objek yang berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara penerima dan pengirim pesan.Media pembelajaran merupakan suatu alat perantara antara pendidik dengan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran yang mampu menghubungkan, memberi informasi dan menyalurkan pesan sehingga tercipta proses pembelajaran efektif dan efisien. Media pembelajaran mengakibatkan terjadinya sebuah komunikasi antara pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Apabila dalam proses pembelajaran tidak menggunakan media maka tidak akan terjadi proses pembelajaran.Pemanfaatan media pendidikan menggunakan Augmented Reality dapat merangsang pola pikir peserta didik dalam berpikiran kritis terhadap sesuatu masalah dan kejadian yang ada pada keseharian, karena sifat dari media pendidikan adalah membantu peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran dengan ada atau tidak adanya pendidik dalam proses pendidikan, sehingga pemanfaatan media pendidikan dengan augmented reality dapat secara langsung memberikan pembelajaran dimanapun dan kapanpun peserta didik ingin melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. This study combines the augmented reality technology and the sensor functions of GPS, electronic compass, and 3-axis accelerometer on mobile devices to develop a motion sensing and automatic positioning universal planisphere. It can create local star charts according to the current date, time, and position and help users locate constellations on the planisphere easily through motion sensing operation. By holding the mobile device towards the target constellation in the sky, the azimuth and elevation angles are obtained automatically for mapping to its correct position on the star chart. The proposed system combines observational activities with physical operation and spatial cognition for developing correct astronomical concepts, thus making learning more effective. It contains a built-in 3D virtual starry sky to enable observation in classroom for supporting teaching applications. The learning process can be shortened by setting varying observation date, time, and latitude. Therefore, it is a useful tool for astronomy education.

Education is one of the aspects that many synthesized with technology. Yet, this is contrary to the fact that where most of the learning materials are still based on text. This research aims to develop an alternative learning media by implementing Augmented Reality Technology for Preschooler students. Augmented Reality (AR) is an application that can combine the virtual object as text, pictures and animation into the real world. Development of Augmented Reality application uses Web Aurasma Based Studio, with learning materials of daily prayer for preschool student. The development of the characters and the animations were using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. The results of the study showed that technology Augmented Reality can be used as an alternative learning media especially in the learning process in Preschool Al Furqon. This is because the content Augmented Reality in the form of animation can gives more understanding and attention for preschool student to follow the learning process

Abstract Augmented Reality (AR) is a current, sustainable, efficient, and promising tool that will make an essential contribution to the development of the Industry 4.0 revolution. AR technology fully and effectively responds to the current extended digital age, in the last year and in the field of education, of learning at all levels. The applicability of AR technology is varied and complex: retail interior design, health, industry, logistics, etc. This paper show the applicability of AR technology in the learning process, from the perspective of the Industry 4.0 concept, highlighting the sustainable and efficient aspects on the economic performance and not only of the companies. The main conclusion of this research is that the use of modern digital technology (AR and VR) in learning in various fields, including education, must be based on the principles of ROI (Return on Investments) and SROI (Social Return on Investments).

Augmented reality creates a bridge between virtual and real world, providing stimulating resources for different purposes. This technology enables new teaching possibilities since it can bring more abstract concepts into reality and put the knowledge related to several areas, such as Software Engineering, into practice. MetricRA is a tool developed to help Software Engineering students to understand Cohesion and Coupling metrics. The solution was implemented with Augmented Reality technology, where the user can control a class diagram to observe the metrics transformation. This article describes MetricRA tool and presents a study conducted to evaluate its ability to contribute to the understanding of the concepts proposed.

American Psychiatric Association defined autism spectrum disorder as a neurological disorder due to which a diagnosed child may face difficulty in social communication or have a repeated or restricted set of behaviors. Learners with autism are primarily visual strategy learners, and they tend to learn better through pictures and images. Due to their cognitive disabilities, most learners with autism struggle to acquire new vocabulary. There have been many inventions invented by researchers all over the world to help autistic children with their education; however, not much emphasis put on the interventions that can assist autistic children with their English vocabulary learning process. Hence, this study intends to investigate the stakeholders’ acceptance and thoughts on the use of augmented reality mobile applications for children with autism. This study is a qualitative research study where interviews are used as an instrument to gather stakeholders’ views on the usefulness of the designed and developed augmented reality technology mobile application. This study involved seven respondents who come from different backgrounds and in different field areas. The results have gathered that the designed and developed mobile application has the prospect of helping children with autism with their English language learning process. With further improvements, the designed and developed mobile application is believed to be able to help autistic children to learn English vocabulary in a more exciting yet meaningful manner and at the same time help to spark their interest in their English vocabulary language learning process.

Abstrak: Teknologi informasi memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam mendukung perkembangan media pembelajaran. Salah satu teknologi yang membantu dalam proses pembelajaran adalah Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality merupakan teknologi yang menggabungkan benda maya 2D atau 3D secara realtime yang diproyeksikan terhadap dunia nyata melalui devices seperti smartphone. Permasalahan yang diamati pada proses belajar mengajar di SMK, yakni materi pembelajaran disajikan dalam buku Lembar Kerja Siswa bergambar dua dimensi (2D) berwarna hitam putih sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami dan mengenali komponen hardware. Selain itu, belum memanfaatkan teknologi Augmented Reality sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat media pembelajaran dengan teknologi Augmented Reality sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran agar siswa dapat memahami materi pengenalan komponen hardware komputer. Model pengembangan penelitian ini menggunakan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Tools yang membantu dalam pebuatan Objek gambar 3D menggunakan Adobe Illustrator, Sketchup, Vuforia, dan Unity. Untuk bahasa pemrograman C# yang dibuat menggunakan software Microsoft Visual Studio. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi YATINDO AR sebagai media pembelajaran komponen hardware komputer dengan teknologi Augmented Reality berbasis android yang telah membantu para guru dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang materi yang ada pada buku Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS).   Kata kunci: Android, Augmented Reality, Media Pembelajaran, Hardware   Abstract: Information technology has a significant impact in supporting the development of learning media. One of the technologies that helps in the learning process is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines 2D or 3D virtual objects in realtime that are projected to the real world via devices such as smartphones. The problems observed in the teaching and learning process at SMK, namely the learning material are presented in a black and white two-dimensional (2D) illustrated Student Worksheet book so that students have difficulty understanding and recognizing hardware components. In addition, they have not yet utilized Augmented Reality technology as an interactive learning medium. The purpose of this research is to create learning media with Augmented Reality technology as a learning aid so that students can understand the material on the introduction of computer hardware components. This research development model uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Tools that help in creating 3D image objects using Adobe Illustrator, Sketchup, Vuforia, and Unity. For the C # programming language created using Microsoft Visual Studio software. The result of the research is the YATINDO AR application as a learning media for computer hardware components with Android-based Augmented Reality technology which has helped teachers in providing understanding to students about the material in the Student Worksheet (LKS) book.

Conventionally, in the learning process teachers usually explain lathe machines using only one unit machine thus the students cannot observe and learn the machine comprehensively. Hence, it is necessary to create learning media based on Augmented Reality technology that can be individually accessed with smartphone devices to facilitate the students in examining the lathe parts in detail with ease. This study discusses the development of Augmented Reality technology based learning media to display parts of the lathe in informative details. This study was categorized as Research and Development. The procedure of the study consisted of several stages including finding potential and problem, literature studies, product development, expert validation, product revisions, product trial, product revision, user response, product revision and final product development. The results showed that the developed learning media was applicable. The percentages of product testing and user response testing were 87.50% and 82% respectively which both were categorized as good.

One of the materials taught in science lesson is about human skeletons. In the learning process of the human skeletal, teachers use props in the form of human skeletal models. With the development of technology, the use of human skeletal models can be replaced with digital models. Human skeletal models can be damaged either by deliberate or accidentally by age. The correct method for replacing the model of a human skeleton into a digital form is by using Augmented Reality technology, where Augmented Reality technology is capable of projecting 3-dimensional objects into the real world directly. The use of augmented reality technology is increasingly prevalent in the world of education, health, sales, and tourism. The results obtained in this study was the application could project 3-dimensional objects from the human skeleton that was divided into 4 parts of the skull, spine and ribs, the bone of the upper tool and the bone of the motion of the bottom of the marker. Based on the tests that have been done, it was concluded that a good distance in identifying markers between smartphones with markers is at a distance between 2-6 inches and marker slope of the smartphone is 00-600
