One of the materials taught in science lesson is about human skeletons. In the learning process of the human skeletal, teachers use props in the form of human skeletal models. With the development of technology, the use of human skeletal models can be replaced with digital models. Human skeletal models can be damaged either by deliberate or accidentally by age. The correct method for replacing the model of a human skeleton into a digital form is by using Augmented Reality technology, where Augmented Reality technology is capable of projecting 3-dimensional objects into the real world directly. The use of augmented reality technology is increasingly prevalent in the world of education, health, sales, and tourism. The results obtained in this study was the application could project 3-dimensional objects from the human skeleton that was divided into 4 parts of the skull, spine and ribs, the bone of the upper tool and the bone of the motion of the bottom of the marker. Based on the tests that have been done, it was concluded that a good distance in identifying markers between smartphones with markers is at a distance between 2-6 inches and marker slope of the smartphone is 00-600

Along with the development, the application can be used as a medium for learning. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional’s virtual objects and three-dimensional’s virtual objects into a real three-dimensional’s then projecting the virtual objects in real time and simultaneously. The introduction of Solar System’s material, students are invited to get to know the planets which are directly encourage students to imagine circumtances in the Solar System. Explenational of planets form and how the planets make the revolution and rotation in books are considered less material’s explanation because its only display objects in 2D. In addition, students can not practice directly in preparing the layout of the planets in the Solar System. By applying Augmented Reality Technology, information’s learning delivery can be clarified, because in these applications are combined the real world and the virtual world. Not only display the material, the application also display images of planets in 3D animation’s objects with audio.

Augmented Reality is the technology using which we can integrate 3D virtual objects in our physical environment in real time. Augmented Reality helps us in bring the virtual world closer to our physical worlds and gives us the ability to interact with the surrounding. This paper will give you an idea that how Augmented Reality can transform Education Industry. In this paper we have used Augmented Reality to simplify the learning process and allow people to interact with 3D models with the help of gestures. This advancement in the technology is changing the way we interact with our surrounding, rather than watching videos or looking at a static diagram in your text book, Augmented Reality enables you to do more. So rather than putting someone in the animated world, the goal of augmented reality is to blend the virtual objects in the real world.

In gamelan, one of the most important instruments is trompong. Trompong is an idiphones instrument that has 10 rows of round shaped metal called pencon. Every pencon has its own sound. As a traditional music instrument, of course gamelan especialy trompong must be preserved continuously. But unfortunately, playing Balinese gamelan with real instrument is hard to do because the difficulty to finding gamelan in the real world. By using technolgy such as Augmented Reality, playing trompong possible to do even without having the real instrument. Augmented Reality will be develop using Unity 3D software along with Vuforia SDK, and also this application using Android smartphone as a base of Augmented Reality application. This Augmented Reality application called TrompongAR and will be marker based Augmented Reality, by using a target marker will help Augmented Reality to place where the 3-dimensional trompong will placed. The 3-dimensional trompong will have 10 pencon that can played by tapping the pencon, the touched pencon will produce sound like the real instrument.

This study combines the augmented reality technology and the sensor functions of GPS, electronic compass, and 3-axis accelerometer on mobile devices to develop a motion sensing and automatic positioning universal planisphere. It can create local star charts according to the current date, time, and position and help users locate constellations on the planisphere easily through motion sensing operation. By holding the mobile device towards the target constellation in the sky, the azimuth and elevation angles are obtained automatically for mapping to its correct position on the star chart. The proposed system combines observational activities with physical operation and spatial cognition for developing correct astronomical concepts, thus making learning more effective. It contains a built-in 3D virtual starry sky to enable observation in classroom for supporting teaching applications. The learning process can be shortened by setting varying observation date, time, and latitude. Therefore, it is a useful tool for astronomy education.

In this digital era, the presentation of information as a media campaign in the form of brochures and pamphlets is increasingly left out. Besides being considered boring it also looks less interactive. The advent of AR technology that can combine real and virtual images in 3-dimensional form projected onto a screen or monitor can be used as a solution in delivering more interactive information. But Politeknik Kediri has not implemented it. The brochure of Politeknik Kediri as one of the media campaign has not been integrated with augmented reality technology, so it seems less interesting. Therefore, we create an android-based application that can display the visualization of Politeknik Kediri using augmented reality to support promotion. Through this research, it is expected that the media campaign of Politeknik Kediri can be more interesting, so that many prospective students who are interested to join Politeknik Kediri especially Informatics Engineering Department. This research is done through 6 stages: analyze the needs, perform system design, hierarchy, application implementation, and application testing. While the software used in this study is Vuforia SDK, An-droid SDK, Unity3D, and Blender.
