The contribution focuses on a specific form of masculinity in the poetry of Michal Habaj, a contemporary Slovak poet. The article describes the phenomenon camp in connection with experimental verses of this poet. Camp is represented by a way of looking at the world as an aesthetic phenomenon that is not based on beauty, but on stylization, as Susan Sontag presented it in her essay. The contribution focuses on a main feature of the stylization (artisticity and theatricality) and presents the consequences of stylizing a subject into a voyeur-oriented modern troubadour. It describes a phenomenon of game and irony in a work of Michal Habaj: a subversive game with the function of basic literary categories, a game with gender and a game with discourse, in connection with the transformation of the category of masculinity into poetry.

Every late spring since 1951, the Wiener Festwochen bring performers from around the world to Vienna for an opportunity to share recent developments in performance styles and present them to a Viennese public that seems to be increasingly open to experimentation. These festival weeks solidify a specific form of Viennese self-understanding and self-representation as a culture that is rooted in performance. This essay seeks to link two recent Austrian performances—one of them was part of the Wiener Festwochen in 2016, the other was staged in downtown Linz during the past few years—to this Austrian and specifically Viennese culture of performance by reading them as contemporary articulations of a tradition of radical performance art that can be traced back to the Viennese Actionism of the sixties and later feminist articulations in the seventies and eighties. They play on the dramatic effect of these actions, specifically their joy in cruelty, chaos, and orgiastic intoxication, by staging regressions and thus making visible what has been dammed up and repressed in contemporary society.1 Just as their historical models, these two performances merge the performing and the fine arts and they highlight provocative, controversial, and, at times, violent content. But they do it in an interspecies context that adds an entire layer of complexity to the project of societal and cultural critique.

This chapter continues the examination of Bonhoeffer’s first phase of resistance through an exposition of “The Church and the Jewish Question,” turning now to the modes of resistance proper to the church’s preaching office. Because such resistance involves the church speaking against the state, it appears to stand in contradiction with Bonhoeffer’s suggestion earlier in the essay that the church should not speak out against the state. This is in fact not a contradiction but rather the coherent expression of the political vision as outlined in the first several chapters of this book, which requires that the church criticize the state under certain circumstances but not others. The specific form of word examined here is the indirectly political word (type 3 resistance) by which the church reminds the messianic state of its mandate to preserve the world with neither “too little” nor “too much” order.

“In China, what makes an image true is that it is good for people to see it.” - Susan Sontag, On Photography, 1971 The Olympic Games gave the world an opportunity to read Beijing’s powerful image-text following thirty years of rapid transformation. David Harvey argues that this transformation has turned Beijing from “a closed backwater, to an open centre of capitalist dynamism.” However, in the creation of this image-text, another subtler and altogether very different image-text has been deliberately erased from the public gaze. This more concealed image-text offers a significant counter narrative on the city’s public image and criticises the simulacrum constructed for the 2008 Olympics, both implicitly and explicitly. It is the ‘everyday’ image-text of a disappearing city still in the process of being bulldozed to make way for the neoliberal world’s next megalopolis. It exists most prominently as a filmic image text; in film documentaries about a ‘real’ hidden Beijing just below the surface of the government sponsored ‘optical artefact.’ Film has thus become a key medium through which to understand and preserve a physical city on the verge of erasure.

In ecotourism, as a specific form of tourism, conscientious individuals and groups participate, who by its influence on nature are trying to reduce effects produced by so called mass tourism. Ecotourism product should be developed on the contemporary tourism trends, with full respect of local specificity which represent commitment in regard to competitive destinations. Existence of receptive factors, such as facilities for accommodation, nutrition, entertainment and recreation, represent one of the basic prerequisites for the development of any ecotourism destination. Ecotourists seek accommodation which is ecologically acceptable, modest but cozy at the same time and provides unique experience in natural surroundings. In accordance with these demands protected areas all around the world offer its visitors high quality Ecolodge facilities, which are fully submerged into nature. During their construction and management strict criteria of protection of the environment are followed with optimal waste and energy management. Montenegro has enviable spacious potential for this kind of accommodation in protected areas, especially in its five national parks, so this form of accommodation has to find its place in the future development of tourism. Designing and construction of ecotourism facilities has to be strategically planned and the fact, that it is not enough just to have attractive location but also specific content it has to offer, has to be respected. Ecolodge facilities should be designed and built in accordance with traditional architecture and surrounding materials, to influence as little as possible on the environment and to use alternative energy sources. In other words, it is necessary to provide sustainability of these facilities.

Money has two main forms nowadays: the fiduciary money (coins, banknotes…) and the scriptural one (electronic or virtual). To pay goods, both are used. The electronic money, one specific form of the scripting money, is more and more used everywhere in the world. Electronic payment has many particularities: specific infrastructure, equipment, and software, new forms of regulations, technical agreements, normalizations, fraud limitations… The objective of this chapter is to present a general overview of electronic payment. The background section presents its historical evolution. In the main thrust, the chapter focuses first on the general architecture of electronic payment. Second, different authorization mechanisms for the processing of the banking transaction and for fraud prevention are detailed. Future trends stress the different research topics that should be investigated, especially concerning the SEPA program (Single Euro Payments Area), which will harmonize bank payment systems in Europe through 2012.

AbstractErnst Cassirer (1874–1945), Neo-Kantian philosopher of Marburg school, studies myth as a component of symbolic forms. He considers myth as the cornerstone of philosophy of culture as well as the source of such other forms as language, religion, art and science. Cassirer, applying an epistemological approach towards myths and other realms of human culture, argues that human beings experience the world through a mediated process. Of course, this mediated encounter with the world has different aspects in the evolving course of culture. These aspects are completely dependent upon the symbolic form through which man experiences his world. However, it seems what Cassirer puts forth as an explanation of the cultural evolution of mankind is basically influenced by his semiotic viewpoints. Therefore, the present article tries to find the theoretical resources of Cassirer’s thought and analyze his reasoning in this regard. Emphasizing Cassirer’s theoretical assumptions as well as his methodology, we have tried to better understand his claims about myth and other symbolic forms. It has been revealed that Cassirer’s theory is mainly shaped by his particular models of semiotic functions. Analyzing the semiotic functions of each specific form indicates that Cassirer has differentiated three independent functions. Each of these functions works on an expressive, Ausdrucken. representative, Darstellungen. or signifying Bedeutungen. basis and is respectively correspondent with myth, language, and science.

Introduction: the article is devoted to the study of genre and aspect specifics of the travel lyric cycle as a major genre form in modern Russian poetry of Mordovia and it fits into the complex of research of Russian literary studies concerning the problem of genre synthesis. The subjects of the analysis are the features of plot building of the lyrical cycles of travels. Objective: to reveal the genre and problem-thematic originality of the lyrical cycles of travels in the works of modern poets of Mordovia. Research materials: cycles of travels of V. Gadaev, V. Yushkin, K. Smorodin. Results and novelty of the research: in modern Russian poetry of Mordovia large genre forms as the most flexible actively develop. Among them, a special place is occupied by lyrical cycles with diverse thematic lines. In this context, travel cycles that synthesize the features of genre forms of the cycle and travelogue are quite remarkable. The complex compositional structure marked by the presence of a real geographical route, the image of a traveler comprehending the cultural and historical atmosphere of the visited country / city, reflects the author’s worldview, historiosophy, and the idea of the world space. In the works of V. Gadaev, V. Yushkin and K. Smorodin such cyclic forms carry out various creative objectives. For V. Gadaev, trip brings the opportunity to rethink the tragic moments of history, to understand the state of a person who is far from his homeland. The plot-forming beginning of his works is the opposition «native – alien», where the image of the Mordovian region turns out to be the semantic artistic center. In V. Yushkin’s lyrical cycles, the traveler’s route is connected with the comprehension of semantic codes of geographical space, contact with important cultural and literary places. In the K. Smorodin’s center of attention is an image of a lyrical hero-traveler who is under the impression of the surrounding world’s beauty. The motif of travel in the works of Russian poets of Mordovia is largely enriched by landscape and philosophical, love motifs, which indicates the synthetic nature of this genre-specific form. The scientific novelty of the work is connected with the fact that it represents the first experience of the comprehensive study of the features of the lyric cycle of travels in Russia

In accordance with the legislation on public-private partnership in projects related to the development of glamping in protected areas, it is possible to use concession agreements, in particular, the use of its more advanced version — infrastructure mortgages.

Cognition of time is one of the fundamental tasks of philosophy and science. We can say that the progress of society was to a large extent ensured by the acquisition of the idea of time by mankind. Without the knowledge of time, neither the economic nor the spiritual life of society would be feasible. For the economic life of society, time is periods of work in the field of agriculture, the establishment of work regimes, etc. For the spiritual activity of people, time is the “historyˮ of society, cultures, civilizations, the regulation of traditional rituals, holidays, the secret of life, death and immortality of people, etc. If the economic life of people makes a demand for the knowledge of time, due to the nature of human existence that striving for cognition of time itself, for the purpose of spiritual enrichment, without being mediated by pragmatic demands, is one of the secrets of the human mind. Philosophy is that specific form of cognition that ensures the satisfaction of a person's need for knowledge of the essence of the world and its existence in time, the essence of the temporal existence of society and man and the essence of time itself. The article examines the study of time that has developed in the philosophical tradition in the aspect of epistemological alternatives to empiricism and rationalism. The analysis of the concepts of time given in the works of modern thinkers is given. A variant of the nomological concept of time is proposed and substantiated.
