The urgency of the problem of distance education development is caused by the fact that in modern conditions the requirements for specialists are radically changing. At the same time, the central place is not the use of previously acquired knowledge, but the generation and implementation of new ideas, which dictates new requirements for training. In this regard, lifelong learning becomes increasingly necessary, acquires new forms and meanings. Today, advances in information technology and telecommunications allow the development of distance learning as a kind of continuing education that accompanies the information society, because it forms a comprehensively developed personality, able to navigate in the information environment. The pandemic forced universities to switch to e-Learning in a force majeure mode, which served as a powerful impetus for the accelerated arming of universities with resources that allow them to effectively practice online and blended learning. In these conditions, it became possible to implement a student-centered educational paradigm. However, this is hindered by the problem of the student's lack of self-organization and self-motivation skills, the ability to take responsibility for their own learning and development. This problem is gaining more and more theoretical and practical importance. The purpose of the work is to substantiate that courses such as self-management and time management contribute to the formation of competencies in the field of goal-setting, planning, self-organization, self-control and self-motivation, and, therefore, in the context of the implementation of student-centered pagadigma, they should serve as preliminary study for e-Learning. For this, the article provides a review of the "Time Management" content course in relation to the task of developing proactivity and the student’s ability to systematically and productively independent work.

Introduction. The paper seeks to address the issue of student self-management in a distance learning format. Materials and methods. The paper presents the results of a study conducted at the Faculty of Psychology of Tomsk State University. The study aims to identify the student self-management features due to the transition to a distance-learning format and determine the specifics of time management in students. The literature review aimed to clarify the basic concepts and establish the thesaurus of the study. Research results. The most typical difficulties of student self-management in a distance learning format have been identified, based on which a variable educational route has been developed. The route takes into account individual characteristics of time perception by students and is intended to update subjective cognitive space. Conclusion. The paper has defined the self-management difficulties that affect the assimilation of an educational program in the context of social constraints and has presented the results of empirical research. Keywords: self-management of students, temporality, distance learning, social constraints

Self-management techniques can be used to improve behavior, control self, and time management strategies of entrepreneurs. The implementation program is carried out in Ciujung Damai Kragilan Housing with large traders. Activities are carried out with licensing for MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) affected by the Covid-19 PPKM. This activity is carried out using stages such as self-observation, self-evaluation, giving reinforcement, and behavior. The programs in this activity are observation, interviews, and data collection. Research time is for 1 month. The number of MSME entrepreneurs that will be studied is 3 people. The achievements in this study were greatly improved with self-management techniques. The use of techniques by MSME entrepreneurs is more useful and time is not wasted. Strategic management in self-management techniques is able to make MSMEs gain good self-control. The effectiveness of the time set can run efficiently. And change life to the maximum than before. The recommendation used in SMEs is to use self-management techniques as the main factor in time management.

It is quite important to effectively benefit from e-learning tools and environments which have dynamic structures in order to meet the learning needs of distance learners. E-Learning provides independence of time and space, student-centered, learner-controlled, flexible learning environments and equal educational opportunities. However, this flexibility has increased learners' self-cognition, self-control and self-responsibility for learning. In order for learners to cope with these issues, it is important to use metaphorical interfaces made up of metaphors as structures that provide clues to understand a new and complex concept, system or model. In this study, three main issues are discussed. These issues are e-learning and distance education, interface designs for distance education and metaphors in interface design. In the last part of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of metaphorical interface design in distance education are discussed. Based on these discussions, some important recommendations provided. The main purpose of this study is to discuss three main issues. These issues are e-learning and distance education, interface designs for distance education and metaphors in interface design. In the last part of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of the metaphorical interface design in distance education and e-learning environments will be discussed. Based on these discussions, some important recommendations will be provided.

Currently, the higher education system in Russia is in the midst of rapid changes associated with the fundamental problems of organizing the educational process during a pandemic. The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 in 2020 affected the educational system around the world, causing the massive closure of higher education institutions. Among the management practices of Russian universities related to the provision of security for students and staff, key decisions and recommendations based on a large-scale transition to the use of e-learning, distance learning technologies and the transition to a distance learning format, which has changed the usual way of life of university students and teachers. The objective of this research is to evaluate the transition of the educational process to distance education in the context of the pandemic, to identify the factors that hinder the development of learning. The research method is a questionnaire survey on distance learning using distance technologies in higher education. The results indicate that the development of a new model of education in universities can find resistance to external challenges and to a more productive way for economic and social development.

Distance learning can be considered as “self-regulated learning” as it involves students managing their own time, planning their own activities, and taking an active part in interactive communication with classmates and the teacher. The purpose of the study is to identify problems in middle school students’ self-regulation of learning activities during the period of distance learning. Based on a comparative analysis of international research, the study identifies the structural components of self-regulation in distance learning including self-organization, goal setting, planning, prediction, self-control, self-assessment, and reflection. The most significant structural component is students’ self-organization, which implies making a daily schedule, recording the tasks performed, controlling one’s actions in accordance with the daily schedule, as well as independently allocating time for homework. The study is based on a survey of 196 middle school students in the Republic of Komi, Russia. The results of the survey allow identifying the most vulnerable areas of students’ self-regulatory activity in the process of planning, organizing, and controlling their time and individual learning activities in a distance learning environment. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the data obtained to improve the process of distance learning. The materials of the study may be of use to managers, methodologists, and teachers in secondary education in developing methodological recommendations for students regarding the development of self-regulatory skills of middle school students.

The purpose of the work is to consider the possibilities of time trackers in the design activities of students. The article presents an analysis of modern time trackers that contribute to the self-organization of students to achieve educational goals. In the context of an increase in the share of independent training in universities and the expansion of distance learning, there is a need for students to master time management, which allows them to conduct activities most productively.

The current modern requirements are distance education. Distance education is an opportunity to study and receive the necessary knowledge remotely from the school at any convenient time. Regardless of how distance education is implemented, different countries have their own peculiarities of its use at the level of secondary and higher education. Such training programs are especially useful for many people who, due to financial, physical or geographical circumstances, do not have the opportunity to receive traditional education. Thus, distance learning provides an opportunity to gain equal access to quality education. Other names for distance learning include “open education”, “e‑learning”, “virtual learning” and so on. The Regulations on Distance Education and the Concept of Distance Education Development in Ukraine regulate the rights and responsibilities of participants in the educational process. Distance learning has a number of undeniable advantages. In particular, the student can study at a time convenient to him, the usual environment and at a relatively autonomous pace. The statute has the meaning of the understanding “distance education”; problems, the formation of the methods of interaction to provide education with victories from the hour of remote access. There are platforms designed to enable Ukrainian students, regardless of location, to obtain a quality Ukrainian education. An analysis has been carried out and the main re-runs of distance courses have been determined. The authors have provided information about the practical training management system for electronic science (learning management system, LMS) Moodle at the initial process of the Kherson Polytechnic Faculty College of the Odessa National Polytechnic University. There are also recommendations for advancing the effectiveness of remote sensing, and special respect is given to diagnostics and knowledge of education.
