Introduction. The paper seeks to address the issue of student self-management in a distance learning format. Materials and methods. The paper presents the results of a study conducted at the Faculty of Psychology of Tomsk State University. The study aims to identify the student self-management features due to the transition to a distance-learning format and determine the specifics of time management in students. The literature review aimed to clarify the basic concepts and establish the thesaurus of the study. Research results. The most typical difficulties of student self-management in a distance learning format have been identified, based on which a variable educational route has been developed. The route takes into account individual characteristics of time perception by students and is intended to update subjective cognitive space. Conclusion. The paper has defined the self-management difficulties that affect the assimilation of an educational program in the context of social constraints and has presented the results of empirical research. Keywords: self-management of students, temporality, distance learning, social constraints

Introduction. This paper presents the results of a comparative analysis of aggressive behavior in adolescents suffering from mild mental retardation given its nature of origin, which could either be a character trait and/or a behavioral pattern, or result from organic brain syndrome. Materials and Methods. The methods used in the study are the method of expert assessment (pedagogic assessment of disordered behavior with the Teacher questionnaire for identifying children with disordered behavior (E. L. Indenbaum); monitoring; psychological diagnostic method (the projective technique Children’s Apperceptive Test (S. Bellak) (Fig.7); analysis of medical history and documents regarding the micro-social environment of the adolescent development; and the mathematical statistics method. Results. Aggressive behavior in adolescents with organic brain syndrome is characterized by a severe disorder of emotional self-control, inadequate responses to an irritator of a certain degree, affective rigidity, and a long time necessary to return to a normal state. Distinctive characteristics of aggressive behavior in adolescents with aggression as an inherent character trait suggest that aggression occurs based on a specific situation and could be self-regulated or managed by exterior regulation. Conclusion. The findings indicate that adolescents with mild mental retardation show aggression differently depending on the nature of its origin. Keyword: aggressive behavior, aggression, adolescents with mental retardation, aggression as a character trait, aggression as a result of organic brain syndrome

The introduction. The paper deals with a problem of Russian speech sound acquisition by Chinese students, examines the bilateral nature of this problem (sound perception and sound pronunciation), and identifies typical difficulties of the Chinese audience. Materials and methods. The paper analyzes the results of an empirical study aimed at identifying the most frequent difficulties encountered by Chinese students learning the Russian Language when mastering auditory and pronunciation skills. The study relies on the methods of experimental research, statistical data processing, and comparative analysis. Results. The findings show the correlation between the two types of mistakes (in perception and pronunciation of Russian sounds) made by Chinese students. This correlation made it possible to obtain the data on the extent to which the processes of sound unit perception and generation are interconnected and interdependent. The experimental study has identified the most typical difficulties of Chinese students and considered their causes. Conclusion. The study has shown that the number of sound perception mistakes significantly exceeds that of sound pronunciation ones. Therefore, focused work is required to develop auditory skills. Both types of mistakes result from the differences in sound systems of the Russian and Chinese languages, which should be fully taken into account when building audial and pronunciation skills of Chinese students. Keywords: the audial and pronunciation skills, sound system, differentiation of sounds, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Introduction. Chemistry is one of the last academic subjects introduced into the educational process, which completes the natural science picture of the world in high school. Although chemistry is one of the least popular subjects chosen for the Unifi ed State Exam, it causes the greatest phobias among students. Since the quality of the subject assimilation in general determines the degree of success in the student’s cognitive activity and professional orientation, the publication aims to consider the efficiency of the educational chemistry content when used in the Telegram messenger. Materials and methods. A pedagogical experiment was conducted using additional educational chemistry content on the Telegram channel “Chemistry – elementary”. The research relied on the competence-based and environmental approaches, which contributed to the individual success of the child in the simulated educational space. Research results. The fi ndings revealed that the pandemic and the transition to distance education technologies increased the need for didactic materials in chemistry. The use of additional educational chemistry content in Telegram messenger showed a positive effect on the quality of knowledge about chemistry. During the experiment, academic performance and cognitive activity in the subject ro se. Conclusion. The results obtained made it possible to substantiate a high level of activity in the subject, and overcoming chemophobia. The organization of additional educational content through the Telegram channel in an accessible game form (quiz questions, puzzles) can serve as a factor increasing the effectiveness of the educational resource.

Methods and materials. The accomplishment of the goal involved the investigation of sources represented by the normative legal acts regulating the education sector; statistical data yearbooks for recent years; and secondary analysis of sociological research data. Theoretical understanding of the topic relies on the studies presented in the monographs, dissertations, and scientific papers focusing on the development of federal and regional educational policy. Introduction to the paper raises the questions: what are the causes of today’s crisis faced by the “traditional,” which has lost its creative character, and if there are ways out of this crisis. Materials and methods. When searching for the answers to these questions, the study relies on the comparative analysis of the sources and shows how Russian teaching methodology experts of the 20th century solved the “essay problem,” what tasks were offered for the text written by students to be an original “answer” in their dialogue with the literary text. Bibliography overview. A whole host of the sources used impart the character of an analytical review to this part of the paper. It aims to convince the reader that the focus on “creative reading” (Abakumov) and “creative writing” (Abakumov) was one of the leading trends in the methodology of the 20th century. This section states that the literary creativity of students nowadays can and should be supported with digital tools. Digitalization of modern literary education, including the application of new creative tasks in the educational process, is a condition for its development in the 21st century. Results. This part of the paper presents possible multimedia creative tasks (podcast, book trailer, longread, video poetry, and others) and indicates that the latter performed using IT tools are not a rejection of conventional creative tasks but rather their development and transformation in the digital environment. The proposed thesis is illustrated by referring to fanfiction and showing what traditional creative task forms preceded fanfiction. These tasks (as opposed to writing a traditional essay) are shown to become valuable and meaningful for the students because they are characterized by convergence and participativeness. It is through these properties of the task’s students are involved in the participatory culture within which the texts of fiction live today. This section concludes that the proposed system of creative multimedia tasks should further be discussed, experimentally tested, and adjusted based on the testing results. In conclusion, according to the teaching methodology experts of the 20th century, who talked about student creativity as a necessary condition for understanding a literary text and a productive dialogue with it, the methodological science objectives to be set concerning the issue presented in the title of the paper are identified. These include: creating a glossary of terms that defines possible creative tasks of a multimedia nature and generating methodological recommendations that describe an algorithm for their development and the technology for including them in the educational process. Keywords: traditional and multimedia creative tasks, value and meaning, convergence and participation, fanfiction, classification of multimedia creative tasks
