The lack of an effective methodology for the analysis of asset securitization operations causes problems in the formation of a strategy for managing the process of financing the activities of the initiator of the securitization. The article substantiates the areas of analytical support of the management system in terms of asset securitization: the formation of financial and economic justification of the feasibility and feasibility of securitization of assets (study of potential investors and analysis of prospects for placement of securities; diligence); assessment of the original assets of the originator for the possibility of their securitization; identification of the impact of securitization of assets on the financial performance of the originator; assessment of risks associated with the use of securitization of assets); analysis of the quality of the asset pool generated by the originator for securitization; evaluation of the effectiveness of securitization operations for its initiator. It is also proposed to analyze the quality of the pool of assets generated by the originator for securitization, in the following sequence: assessment of the probability of default and the amount of expected losses on the pool of assets to be securitized; identification of factors influencing the early repayment of pool assets; assessment of the parameters of the formed pool of securitized assets, based on the analysis of its structure and the selected system of indicators; modeling of future payment flows in the pool of securitized assets, which provides the formation of analytical information to decide on the possibility of securitization using the assets available in the originator and diversification of risks through optimal concentration of assets.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of transparency and disclosure on the financial performance of financial institutions. The emphasis is on assessing transparency and disclosure; auditing and compliance; risk management as indicators of corporate governance; and understanding how these parameters affect bank profitability, liquidity and the quality of loan portfolios. Design/methodology/approach A sample of 20 financial institutions was selected, with ten respondents from each, yielding a total sample size of 200. Principal component analysis (PCA), with inbuilt ability to check for composite reliability, was used to obtain composite indices for the corporate governance indicators as well as the indicators of financial performance, based on a set of questions framed for each institution. Findings The analysis demonstrates that greater disclosure and transparency, improved auditing and compliance and better risk management positively affect the financial performance of financial institutions. In terms of significance, the results show that as the level of disclosure and transparency in managerial affairs increases, the performance of financial institutions – as measured in terms of the quality of loan portfolios, liquidity and profitability – increases by 0.3046, with the effect being statistically significant at the 1 per cent level. Furthermore, as the level of auditing and the degree of compliance with banking regulations increases, the financial performance of banks improves by 0.3309. Research limitations/implications This paper did not consider time series because corporate governance does not change periodically. Practical implications This paper demonstrates the importance of disclosure and transparency in managerial affairs because the performance of financial institutions, as measured in terms of loan portfolios, liquidity and profitability, increases by 0.4 when transparency and disclosure improve, with this effect being statistically significant at the 1 per cent level. Originality/value The use of primary data in assessing the impact of corporate governance on financial performance, instead of secondary data, is the primary novelty of this study. Moreover, PCA is used to assess the weight of the various parameters.

The hospitality industry acquires the features of an integrative industry, which combines material resources and intangible factors to meet the needs of modern man for comfortable travel and recreation. Hospitality is interpreted as a complex economic, social, cultural, psychological phenomenon, the impact of which on the development of the tourism industry determines the effect of synergy from the combination of tourist resources and quality of service. The author of article proposes to consider hospitality management as a multilevel dynamic management system for the process of providing services to tourists and vacationers, based primarily on the principles of humanism, tolerance, personalization of hospitality, respect for cultural diversity, priority to meet human needs for quality recreation and physical strength as well as cultural self-development. The social orientation of this system to some extent balances the commercial, purely pragmatic aspect of managing the development of tourism enterprises. A holistic model of hospitality management is based on a harmonious combination of four concepts. They are humanitarian, technological, functional and commercial. The system-forming component of the hospitality sector is a mechanism for managing consumer behaviour, which ensures an optimal balance of supply and demand in the market of hospitality services. The specifics of service in the hospitality industry is that the quality of service affects the emotional perception of tourists in the area and, accordingly, affects the image of the state. Therefore, the mechanism for implementing the service policy should be established through public administration measures. Among the key areas of hospitality management development is the formation of a rational organizational structure, improvement of hospitality marketing and support of corporate culture, the values of which are adequate to the socio-cultural environment of the hospitality industry. The specificity of the hospitality industry is also that an important role in ensuring competitiveness is played by an attractive brand, which stipulates the allocation in the management system of such a component as brand management. Considerable attention should be paid to the innovative development of hospitality enterprises and the constant improvement of professional competence of managers of socio-cultural activities.

The main challenge in the twenty-first century is to work towards a more resilient urban world and sustainable. In the context of a global urban strategy, endurance is the attention to the capacity of urban systems, including the natural environment, the built environment, social and economic elements; to be able to manage change, to learn from a difficult situation and be in a position to rise from urban problems. Globally, the townsfolk face a water crisis within the next ten years, as the impact of climate change in exhaust emissions will affect the quality of air, land and water; which will ultimately reduce the quality of the environment. Sustainability questioned whether certain aspects of the day-to-day activities, and the systems of community life, can be ongoing into the futureonce again from the standpoint of social, economic and environmental. Eco city is a phrase that is often used in ecological issues raised in the concept of sustainable urban planning and green city embodiment of the challenges ahead in sustainable economic development, and the future development of smart green city. The convergence of technology and environmental issues has changed the world economy that offers a green city promising future - a city that appreciates natural heritage and offer all parties involved. This paper will discuss green infrastructure as water management control system in urban development concepts that contribute to build a sustainable green city management.Key words : green infrastructure, water management system.

The increases in complexity of patient care, healthcare costs, and technological advancements shifted the healthcare delivery to interprofessional collaborative care. The study aims for identifying factors influencing the quality of team collaboration. The study examines the impact of trust and technology orientation on collaboration with the mediating effects of communication, coordination, and cooperation. The results of the study validate that (1) collaboration has positive and significant relationship with coordination, and cooperation; (2) trust has positive and significant relationship with communication, coordination, and cooperation; and (3) technology orientation has positive and significant relationship with cooperation but not with communication and coordination. The research and managerial implications of these factors are given in the discussion. The results can be used by healthcare professionals and managers to advance their understanding on the impact of trust and technology on collaboration mediating communication, coordination, and cooperation practices.

<span>This study aimed to develop and investigate the impact of the implementation of the Mobile-Learning Management System, which we call elektronik Bimbingan Baca al-Qur’an (e-BBQ, a word in the Indonesian Language), in fostering student’s worship. This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Malang in the odd semester of the 2018-2019 academic year with ADDIE research design. The implementation stage was carried out with a one-group pretest-posttest design. As a result, the e-BBQ developed was in the form of applications and websites with some menus including Al-Qur'an learning, worship, training, and log in instructor. The evaluation by experts, as well as students and instructors showed that the products developed were suitable for use. e-BBQ has a positive effect; the quality of student’s worship increased significantly after participating in learning by utilizing e-BBQ. e-BBQ is considered to be an interesting medium for learning Islamic religion, able to make learning more enjoyable, and raise the student’s learning motivation</span>

PurposeThe first goal of the article was to examine how the perception of the role and scope of operation of maintenance services in the enterprise changes, depending on whether the company has an integrated management system (IMS), only a quality management system implemented in accordance with ISO 9001 and in the absence of a formal, certified management system. The second goal was to propose a model for assessing the quality of maintenance service functioning in enterprise with IMS implemented.Design/methodology/approachThe author's experience of over 1,000 audits in enterprises in various industries: food, automotive, construction, petrochemical, electronic and so on was used in the work. The audits were carried out in three types of companies: which had IMSs (800 audits), which only had a system implementation certificate ISO 9001 (140 audits) and without any standardized management system implemented (so-called second-party audits, commissioned by the client of the audited company.FindingsThe most important conclusion is – the role of UR services in enterprises with the implemented IMS is much broader and goes beyond the classic framework for planning, implementation and settlement of maintenance and repair work. Maintenance is understood more broadly and includes in its scope also the safety of people and the environment, the efficiency of production and consumption of utilities as well as the quality of products and services. Maintenance issues include not only strictly technical aspects but also economic, logistic, legal and organizational and management aspects.Practical implicationsResearch shows that enterprises, especially those with high technical and organizational culture, should not treat management systems as costs, but as a driving force for the implementation of new technologies, new organizational solutions and the development of employees' competences.Social implicationsBroad views on stakeholders of maintenance services (including employees, their families, control institutions) and their requirements make enterprises begin to see the need to maintain the so-called lifetime balance, as well as the safety and comfort of work of employees of these services.Originality/valueThe author did not find in literature any reports on studies of the impact of formal, certified management systems on the quality of maintenance services; this article shows that this impact is large and, above all, positive; with such a broad understanding of the role of maintenance, there is a need to develop a common platform for such seemingly distant concepts as machine technical condition or fatigue life versus cost accounting and quality management.

The influence of employees’ challenges on productivity at a provincial department in KwaZulu-Natal has been notably affecting the overall provision of houses and sanitation (service delivery). According to the Annual Performance Plan 2013/14 – 2015/16, the improvement of efficiency and quality of human settlements’ services is one of the strategic goals which focuses on the overall organisational productivity; however, it fails to consider employees’ day-to-day challenges. Thus, the primary purpose of this paper is to investigate challenges at an operational level and determine the impact they have on productivity. Using a quantitative approach, a questionnaire was distributed to a convenience sample of 180 employees within the department. Applying factor analysis, the findings indicate Leadership as having the highest impact while Work-Life Balance displayed the least impact on Organisational Productivity. The results of this study are beneficial to other local, provincial and national public entities.

Abstract Along with the development of quality systems, there was a need to analyze the expenditure incurred to obtain the appropriate quality of products or services and the impact of the actions taken on the results achieved by an entity. Quality costs are an important tool for improving the quality of offered products and efficiency of management, provided that the enterprise maintains a quality cost calculation. It is a system for capturing and analyzing all costs related to quality and taking actions aimed at increasing quality while minimizing production costs. The purpose of quality cost account is not only to identify areas in need of improvement, but most of all to provide information enabling the assessment of the effectiveness of the QMS implemented in the enterprise. The article indicates the essence of quality cost account. It also presents a method of implementing quality cost account in an enterprise which can be the basis for the development of a procedure within the scope of the quality management system. The presented methodology of quality cost account comprehensively indicates the scope of its conduct, responsibility for the activities carried out within it, the method of recording quality costs in the enterprise and indicators the analysis of which allows for an objective assessment of the effectiveness of the implemented quality management system.

AbstractDepression contributes to disability more than any other mental disorder and is associated with a reduced health-related quality of life. However, the impact of depression on the social environment is relatively unknown. The current study determined differences in the health-related quality of life between co-living household members of depressed persons and persons in households without depression. Furthermore, factors influencing the health-related quality of life of co-living household members of depressed persons were evaluated. Using a sample of the German Socio-Economic Panel, health-related quality of life was measured longitudinally with the 12 item Short Form health survey. In addition to descriptive statistics, differences in health-related quality of life and factors influencing the health-related quality of life of co-living household members of depressed persons were determined by mixed effects beta regressions. Mental health-related quality of life was reduced for co-living household members of depressed persons compared with persons of households without depressed persons. Health-related quality of life of co-living household members of depressed persons was lower for women compared to men as well as for widowed persons compared to married persons. Overall, the health-related quality of life of co-living household members of depressed persons was reduced, which might be due to increased stress levels. It is therefore important to focus on support services for people in the social environment of depressed persons.
