In recent years, consumers are facilitated with online shop applications and websites. They are no longer needed to visit the “brick-and-mortar” shop to satisfy their needs and wants. Consumers can access the online shop as long as they smart phones are connected to internet network. Online shop also offers a great variety of products and services. This is an interesting topics to be discussed and researched. This reasearch is aimed to provide the evidence that there are positive affects among perceived security, ease of payment, trust in application/website, and online shopping intention. 450 respondents are participated in this research. Path analysis is used to examine the six hypotheses. The result shows that most of hypotheses are supported except H1b which states that perceived security positively affects online shopping intention. Keywords: online shop, smart phone, websites, perceived security, ease of payment, trust in application/website, online shopping intention, online consumers.

Despite being in nascent stage m-commerce is gaining momentum in India. The explosive growth of smart-phone users has made India much loved business destination for whole world. Indian internet user is becoming the second largest in the world next to China surpassing US, which throws open plenty of e-commerce opportunities, not only for Indian players, offshore players as well. Mobile commerce is likely to overtake e-commerce in the next few years, spurred by the continued uptrend in online shopping and increasing use of mobile apps.The optimism comes from the fact that people accessing the Internet through their mobiles had jumped 33 per cent in 2014 to 173 million and is expected to grow 21 per cent year-on-year till 2019 to touch 457 million. e-Commerce brands are eyeing on the mobile app segment by developing user-friendly and secure mobile apps offering a risk-free and easy shopping experience to its users. Budget 4G smart phones coupled with affordable plans, can very well drive 4G growth in India.

Mobile devices such as Smart Phones and Personal Assistant Devices (PDA) that are Internet based are becoming much more capable of handling complex tasks such as online shopping, online banking as well as social media networking; However, the security mechanisms and defense measures that are built into those devices are not commensurate with those powerful communication and computational capabilities. This in turn, creates critical vulnerabilities thus promoting the chance for imminent security threats. The intent of this paper is to take a look into some of the vulnerabilities and risks associated with the use of smart phones that are Internet based, explore the current security mechanisms and strategies that are in place, and finally propose some proactive defense strategies to ensure appropriate protection of critical information contained in Smart phone devices.

With the rapid development of smart-phone applications, how to make the ordering process via smart-phones more convenient and intelligent has become a hotspot. This paper puts forward a method of restaurant dish recommendation relying on position information and association rules. In addition, this paper has designed and developed a restaurant recommendation system based on mobile phone. The system would fetch the real-time location information via smart-phones, and provide customers personalized restaurant and dish recommendation service. According to the related applications, this system can successfully recommend the related restaurants and food information to customers.

In India we live in a society where men and women have equal rights but as far as it goes these don’t hold up in real life scenarios and practical situations for women. Despite having all these laws and regulations to protect the rights of a woman, they still face problems. Women have grown powerful and are conquering our world’s greatest positions/frontiers but they face issues with our society’s narrow-minded behavior. Every third woman faces physical abuse/harassment in this world. Women Safety is a matter of concern and a smart phone can be used efficiently for personal security and other protection purposes. The existing apps need the user to interact with the interface and follow a sequence of steps to make them work. We are going to solve it by eliminating the user interaction with the app by providing an instant solution.

Learning media are widely circulated in the school environment, especially Madrasah Tsanawiyah is a native-shaped media for a particular type of smart phone. There is a problem if there are learners who use different types of smart phones of different types of OS, brand, type, and screen size. This work proposed a hybrid application technology to design the learning media so that it can be accessed by various types of smart phones. Rational Unified Process (RUP) implementing as the main framework. The Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm applied to the training module and exam to display the sequence of questions and random answer options.

The growth of online shopping channels gradually forces brick and mortar retailers to explore the importance of online shopping trends and online customer behavior. While maintaining customer satisfaction has been recognized as one of the essential factors for business survival and growth, this has not been sufficiently explored for online shopping platforms. Understanding what online constructs appeal to generation-X consumers is critical for organization that would want to pursue virtual business platforms. From a brief literature review in this study, it could be said that online customer satisfaction and its influences on online repurchase intentions in the South African retailing environment remain sparsely researched. Therefore, this study seeks to analyze the dimensions of online customer satisfaction and regress the online satisfaction dimensions on repurchase intentions of generation-X consumers. An attempt is made to apply the theory of planned behavior and social exchange in the adapted conceptual of the study. These theories are deemed to provide an appropriate theoretical grounding to this study. The target population was South African generation-X online consumers in Gauteng. A total of 377 questionnaires were received for data analysis. Implications of the research findings are discussed and limitations and future research directions are provided. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the roles of flow experience and e-trust in online consumers’ stickiness intentions from a perspective of information quality and discuss how to retain these consumers. Design/methodology/approach The authors proposed a research model by integrating three dimensions of information quality, flow experience and e-trust. These factors were analyzed to explore the direct and indirect effects on consumers’ stickiness intention. Online questionnaires were adopted to collect data and 259 valid samples were analyzed by structural equation modeling approach. Findings The findings show that information quality provided by B2C online shopping malls can indirectly affect consumers’ stickiness intention through the mediation effects of flow experience and e-trust. Besides, flow experience can also significantly affect e-trust and then indirectly influence stickiness intention. Research limitations/implications The findings suggest that information quality can trigger the effects of flow experience and e-trust to keep stickiness of online consumers. Besides, in the context of online shopping, flow experience would promote consumers’ trust toward e-retailers. Some other theoretical and practical implications are also provided. Originality/value This study indicates the effects of flow experience and e-trust on stickiness intention from an information quality perspective. Meanwhile, the authors also intend to discuss the relationship between consumers’ flow experience and e-trust in the context of B2C online shopping.

Circular economy is a global economic model that focuses to transform linear consumption in a circular system by minimizing waste and preserving the cost of materials. Refurbishment can be useful to recover value from old products and to minimize waste. Based on the insights from literature, a deductive research approach has been used to examine consumer understanding about refurbished smart phone and their purchase intention. A survey based on barriers, perceived risk, and benefits associated with refurbished phones was conducted. Multiple analyses of variance were employed to identify the effect of demographic parameters on refurbishing dimensions. Multiple regression was used to identify prominent predictors in determining purchase intention towards refurbished products. The study demonstrates a fine level of awareness among people about refurbished phone, and they link it to environmental benefits. A major concern among consumers was performance issue and financial risk involved in purchasing refurbished smart phones. Financial benefits are key aspects behind promoting refurbished.
