The use of augmented reality (AR) in education has changed the landscape of teaching and learning in the 21st century. AR has changed the presentation of learning materials that allows learning activities to be more interactive and rich in multimedia. AR has the potential to increase students’ engagement and motivation in learning. As such, it was incorporated in the design and development of a book for learning Report Writing. This study aims to examine students’ perception of the use of AR in the language classroom, identify the lecturers’ perception of the use of AR, and determine the advantages and disadvantages of the use of AR for the language classroom. The sample comprised 10 students and 7 lecturers from University Teknologi MARA Cawangan Negeri Sembilan. The data were analysed by using descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the integration of AR in the Report Writing book had more advantages than disadvantages. The findings also suggest that integrating AR in the book had positive impacts not only in learning but also in permitting the production of a portable and environment-friendly book.

This study aims to describe the process of developing teaching materials by using Glasser model in the Indonesian language course in FKIP UMSU. The sample of the research is 34-second semester A morning students in the Study Program of Language and Literature of Indonesia, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah, Sumatera Utara. The questionnaire instrument was used to determine the student's response and activeness to the developed teaching material, the observation sheet used to know the condition of the students in the learning process, and the validation sheet instrument used for the development of teaching materials based on SAP using Glasser model. The result of descriptive research on student's response shows that 100% of students were happy about the teaching materials of Bahasa Indonesia (Teaching Materials, Guided Exercises and Lecture Strategies) and 91.66% of students think that the teaching materials are new to them. After using the teaching materials developed by the researcher and following the teaching and learning activities, students (100%) are interested in following the next lesson, the readability of the language of the learning material is easy to understand (91.66%) and the guidance given by the lecturer is clear (100%). While the self-employed activity is fun for students (91.66%). Students activity in learning activities was shown by their involvement in problem solving, his involvement in carrying out learning tasks, assessing his ability, digging and developing his own knowledge. Based on the validation sheet on the test of learning result 1 obtained information that from the 3 learning objectives formulated in SAP I and SAP II there is 1 learning objectives that have not yet completed. Based on the results of descriptive analysis of the test results of learning 2 it was obtained that the 3 learning objectives formulated in SAP III and SAP IV was finished learning objective.

In the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 19/2005, regarding National Education Standards (SNP), it is stated that the curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content, and learning materials and the ways used as guidelines for organizing learning activities to achieve certain educational goals.

We have attempted to rank order the technologies according to their broadest application across curriculum, offering a priority for how important these technologies might be in the classroom. Included in the coverage of each technology is a description of the technology, its primary features, advantages and disadvantages, and additional resources that bear witness to how they actually impact teaching and learning.

Traditional classroom has so far been a common place for learning almost all school subjects and courses of different fields. In language teaching and learning within the 21st century context, the use of Google Classroom is not new, so is the research on the benefits and barriers of this virtual academic place. Being used as a supportive device for teaching and learning in several subjects over the past semesters, “Google Classroom” has become a familiar term among English majors in the Faculty of English, Hanoi National University of Education. This proposed study will explore the applications of this virtual academic environment in project-based learning, focusing on investigating students’ perspectives on its advantages and disadvantages, as well as their expectations and suggestions for an optimal use.

One of them by using media for helping the easy learning process that is very receive as benefit. Learning media can enhance student learning help to create joyful learning. But is not all learning media that can be applied in every learning environments, because learning media has advantages and disadvantages in several aspect. For the example is classical learning methods such as wetonan and bandongan become a characteristic teaching and learning activities in pesantren. Because of that, require a efforts to develop educational media suitably with the learning and the needs of students. The study attempted to analyze the implementation of character education in the English lessons at SMP Negeri 1 Banjar. The subjects of the research were the eighth grade students and the English teacher. The researcher analyzed the lesson plans and the implementation to investigate how character education was inserted in the teaching of the four basic skills in English which has been integrated in the process of teaching and learning in 2013 curriculum. The instruments in this study consisted of interview guide, recorder, lesson plan analysis checklist, and observation checklist. Result of the analysis indicates that the teacher inserts the character values in indicators, learning materials, learning steps, and assessment instrument in lesson plans. In teaching and learning activities, character values are also implemented. However, the character values which are inserted in learning activities are different from one with another. It depends on the topic and indicators that will be achieved. In the evaluation, the strategies which were used by the teacher were in the form of advice and scoring rubric to assess character education in the process of teaching and learning.

This study aims to provide information on the level of satisfaction of trainees Journal service quality training quality and the most influential factor in the region Ko3f gpertis III. Methods of data collection in this study using the registration documentation (questionnaires), interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques servqual quantitative analysis method and Cartesian diagrams using SPSS 17. Based on the research results can be obtained gap (the gap value) of tangible dimension, realibility, responsivness, empathy, and assurance sequentially ie -1.69, -2.12, - 2:09, -2.04, and -1.75. Based on the analysis Cartesian diagram attributes into three main priorities for repair ie friendliness, attention and courtesy of the staff committee and their instructors, clear information about the facility and rules for participants, classroom facilities to support teaching and learning activities.

This paper uses a descriptive approach to investigate the implementation of 21st-century classroom learning at the tertiary level. The action research observed the use of digital technology in a university’s “Week Without Walls” initiative. The purpose was to find out what activities were carried out in the “Week Without Walls” and how they were implemented in relation to 21st-century education learning. A total number of 17 lecturers’ teaching and learning activities were observed during a one-week university initiative of out-of-classroom “Week Without Walls” implementation. Lecturers were given directions to prepare their activities outside the classroom walls in any form or manner of their choice. The results showed that the majority of lecturers used digital technologies to carry out their activities during the week with the highest application being online learning and WhatsApp mobile sharing. This provided a strong indication that the possibilities of the use of digital technologies for teaching and learning are tremendous and highly recommended for the implementation of 21st-century classroom learning.

This research was conducted in class IX G MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang with 28 students, nine male students, and 19 female students in the 1st semester of the 2015-2016 academic year. The stages are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting in each cycle, and this research was completed in two cycles. The research data obtained through observations by researchers is data on the results of learning the skills of passing big ball games obtained through performance from the psychomotor domain. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis using percentage techniques to see trends that occur in learning activities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in improving basketball passing skills in the IX class of Penjas Orkes subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang semester 1 of the 2015-2016 academic year. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve basketball passing skills in the IX class of Penjas Orkes subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang in the 2015-2016 academic year, where learning outcomes in the initial conditions are 67.86% or 19 students, at the end of the first cycle it became 78.57% or 22 students. Atat the end of the second cycle, it became 92.86% or 26 students.
