As we know, there are a lot of public transportation users, especially buses, which are often used in almost all cities around the world. What is our focus this time is bus stops, many of which are abused from their initial function as a place to pick up and drop off passengers, and are very unfit for use. Therefore, a 4D animation information media for public transportation stops was created. This is done to show the public about the convenience of public transportation stops. This utilization also aims to make the bus stop facilities even better and more comfortable according to the needs of prospective passengers. The concept used in this design is "Livability", a word that refers to a good environment for a community to live in. The design results presented in the interior of this waiting facility are to make public transportation users feel safe and comfortable so that people can interact well with each other while waiting for public transportation. Keywords:Animation 4D, Animation 3D, Public Transport.

The number of Foreign Independent Tour (FIT) is increasing rapidly in the world. The FIT tourists usually leave from one hotel as a base, travel around multiple sightseeing areas and return to the same hotel by using some public transportation methods in one day (we call it “one-day circular tour (OCT)”). However, due to the restriction on the public transport schedule, it is difficult to travel around multiple sightseeing areas efficiently with high satisfaction within a limited time. In our previous research, we proposed a planning algorithm for OCT to obtain high satisfaction using such public transportations. But, the satisfaction and tired condition of transportation was not considered there. In this paper, we propose a Kansei model for OCT including the satisfaction and tired condition of transportation and shows the evaluation results in a case study using persona method on travelers in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

Bus shelter for public transport in Surabaya has been made to accommodate the needs of the Department of Transportation and government city. This facilities built to attract public interest to using public transportation. Currently, several shelter Surabaya Bus have been built, but the existing conditions of the bus stops have not met the requirements. Therefore it is necessary to design a Surabaya bus stop that offers convenience, security and most importantly introduces the city of Surabaya both for tourist purposes and for city branding. There is a need for shelters that are designed aesthetically, comfortably and the most important thing is that users feel safe when they are at bus stops. Designed by paying attention to the overall design principles, namely the character of the user, both disabled and normal, user activities and support facilities. Exterior and interior bus shelter concept design use tropical and iconic ornaments from Surabaya iconic places

The bus arrival time at bus stops in urban traffic environment is highly unpredictable. This is due to random fluctuations in travel demands and interruptions caused by traffic system, incidents, and weather conditions. Providing real-time bus arrival information would enhance the credibility of the public transit system and thus render it more competitive among various other transportation modes. With the emergence of Global Positioning System (GPS) technologies, traffic data collection can be performed more efficiently. In this paper we are implementing The “ADVANCED DISPLAY SYSTEM” to enhance the public transportation system by giving the prior information of the buses arriving towards the bus stop to the people waiting for the bus. It consists of two modules. The first one is In-bus module and second one is Bus stop module. The In-bus module integrates the GPS receiver, GSM Modem, Microcontroller and control switches. This module is mounted to the bus. The Bus stop module is integrated with GSM modem, Microcontroller and LED matrix display. This Bus-Stop module is mounted at the Bus stops. the microcontroller processes the SMS received by the GSM modem and displays it in the LED matrix display. In the LED matrix display the bus number, source, destination station names of the bus, current location name of the bus, the time at which the bus is at the current location, actual time will be displayed.

The main content of the work consists of certain systematization and addition of longexisting, but eventually deformed and partly lost qualitative ideas about the role of thermal and wind factors that determine the physical mechanism of the World Ocean’s General Circulation System (OGCS). It is noted that the conceptual foundations of the theory of the OGCS in one form or another are contained in the works of many well-known hydrophysicists of the last century, but the aggregate, logically coherent description of the key factors determining the physical model of the OGCS in the public literature is not so easy to find. An attempt is made to clarify and concretize some general ideas about the two key blocks that form the basis of an adequate physical model of the system of oceanic water masses motion in a climatic scale. Attention is drawn to the fact that when analyzing the OGCS it is necessary to take into account not only immediate but also indirect effects of thermal and wind factors on the ocean surface. In conclusion, it is noted that, in the end, by the uneven flow of heat to the surface of the ocean can be explained the nature of both external and almost all internal factors, in one way or another contributing to the excitation of the general, or climatic, ocean circulation.

Abstract In his article “Changing the Rhythm of Design Capitalism and the Total Aestheticization of the World” Márton Szentpéteri intends to highlight the most important stages of the accelerating total aestheticization of the world resulting at the contemporary period of neoliberal design culture. In the age of design capitalism, the hegemony of consumption culture is being constantly maintained by a culture industry substantially expressed by and embodied in design. The paper claims that the eminent reason of the crisis of democracy today is rooted in the global society of the designed spectacle with its one-dimensional citizens loosing almost all abilities to recognize and consequently defend their rights and to decrease their alienation from real needs, responsibilities and sensibilities. Democracy is fading due to neoliberal globalization – especially in the case of the commercialization of the public sector. However, the particular role of design in this process has hitherto been neglected or underestimated. Against the trend of fading democracy, different sorts of design activism experimenting with disobedient objects and strategies of critical design point towards a much-awaited rebirth of art in terms of its compensatory power against damages of our lifeworld generated by the modernization process with globalisation in the lead. These endeavours are in harmony with the return of art in terms of emergency aesthetics. This rebirth can also be reinforced by the defence of the values of liberal learning being so much threatened amid a global higher education crisis, and especially by understanding design education in the frameworks of liberal learning rather than vocational training.

In recent times, there is an increase in the utilization of the ride-hail service (viz., mobile application-based shared service) by the younger generation due to tremendous changes in technology, extensive usage of smartphones, and perceived convenience during travelling. For evaluating ride-hail service further, it is necessary to understand the user perception towards the ride-hail service and public transportation system (viz., bus in this case) to efficiently plan the public transportation services. Hence, the present study analyzes user perception while making trips, using ride-hail service and public transport buses. A long stretch of 3.8 km has been selected in the Nagpur city for the study and the stretch attracts a good number of trips by ride-hailing and public transportation. To perform the analysis, a survey has been conducted in the stretch which includes an online survey (viz., based on the Google form) and an offline survey (viz., at selected bus stops on the route between university campus and shopping complex). A binary logit model has been developed to understand the user perception towards ride-hail service and to identify the significant contributing factors towards the preference of the ride-hail service over the public transport bus. From the model results, it has been noted that age, accessibility, waiting time, travel time, income, and travel cost of the trip are the most significant contributing factors that affect user decision for availing the ride-hail service. It has been concluded from the study that the inferences obtained would be useful in the direction of developing warrants for transport planners and policymakers to improve the service quality of public transport buses (viz., frequency and routes) in cities especially in the Indian context.

Aiming to facilitate the choice of transport links leading from a starting location to a destination in greater Cairo, we propose in this work a public transportation mobile (android) application to assist users of public transport. The system is a pilot application that considers the public mini-buses network in three areas of Cairo, and builds the database of the mini-bus network verified on the ground. From this database, the transportation network graph consisting of nodes and possible links between them is constructed. Upon request, the system then identifies the series of public transport possible, calculates the shortest path between the two chosen locations, and displays the bus, or series of buses, and the routes to the user, ordered by distance. The specialized algorithm Dijkstra was implemented to find the shortest route.

Due to the rapid increase in population and the change in age structure toward the elderly, the phenomenon of societal ageing is being witnessed in many countries. The elderly travel less than the adult population due to decreasing mobility with an increasing age. In this study, we aimed to analyze the expectations and satisfaction of public transport users in Thailand using traditional importance performance analysis (IPA), gap analysis, and IPA integrated with competitor performance. We aimed to explain the differences in the analysis results produced by the three methods. The data were obtained from surveying 2250 elderly and 450 non-elderly adults. This study presents guidelines for improving the public transport service quality in Thailand to meet user needs. The results of this research showed that each approach provides its own distinctive aspects and theoretical differences, which lead to different interpretations. The results from the three approaches showed that equipment that increases safety for public transportation service users is an important factor for all elderly passengers that must be improved. Public transportation services in different regions should be developed to provide more reliable and regular services.
