The purpose of the research was to find out the influence of psychological barriers experienced by the students towards their speaking ability. This research employed quantitative descriptive method. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaire and speaking test. The subjects of the research were the students of class VIII.4 academic year 2016/2017. The data analysis revealed that the students experienced the medium level of psychological barriers. It was shown by the average score of the questionnaire which was 47. Besides, the students’ ability in speaking English need to improve. The average score of the speaking test was 45. The simple linier regression formula discovered that t count = 1,21 > t table = 0,85. Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which means that there was a significant influence of the students’ psychological barriers towards their speaking ability.

Abstract - The research aim was to determine the positive and significant effect between the use of audiovisual media on the learning motivation of Christian Religious Education of tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu, North Tapanuli Regency in Academic Year 2018/2019. The research used quantitative descriptive methods. The result of data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant effect between the use of audiovisual media on the learning motivation on tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu, North Tapanuli Regency in academic year 2018/2019 with a determination coefficient of r2 was 39,56% and significant influence of Fcount=26,13Ftable=4,08, then H0 was rejected and Ha is accepted.Keywords: Audiovisual Media, Learning Motivation.

This research is intended to describe students ability in wiring poetry by using a picture of their idols in class VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The data is taken from students poetry in decribing their idols. This researh uses quantitative analysis. The data analysis is counted by using the percentage of students assessment in writing poetry. The data of the research is 25 students. Based on students result in writing poetry by describing their idols at class VII A SMPN Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017, it can be seen that there are 3 students who got 87,5 who fall into good category; there is 1 student who got 81,25 tat falls into very good category; there are 9 students who got 75 that fall into good category; there are 6 students who got 68,75 hat fall into good categroy; and there are 6 students who got 62,5 that fall into fair category. From those 25 students, the total score is 289 with the total score is 1806,5, and the mean is 72,25 that falls into good category. Hus, students ability in writing poetry in decribing their idols at class students of VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017 fall into good category.Key Words : ability, writing poetry, picturing idols.

This study is a classroom action research. it aimed to improve the student ability in trump up the short story by implementing contextual learning through inspiration documentary. the study was conducted at class VIII B SMP PGRI 7 Denpasar, in the academic year 2015/2016. data was collected through test, observation, and interview. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive. the results shown that there was improvement in every cycle. on pre tes, the score was 4,78, it increased respectively into 5,60 in cycle I, 6,66 in cycle II, and 8,30 in cycle III.

This study aims to determine the effect of virtual learning on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes, the effect of parental participation on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes, as well as the effect of virtual learning and parental participation on PAI learning outcomes at SMPN 4 Karanganyar academic year 2020/2021. The hypothesis proposed is that virtual learning and parental participation have a significant effect on PAI learning outcomes for class VIII SMPN 4 Karanganyar academic year 2020/2021. This research is quantitative descriptive with data collection methods are questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. Subjects were taken by class VIII SMPN 4 Karanganyar with a population of 360 and a sample of 100 students. Data analysis used preliminary analysis, hypothesis testing and further analysis. The results showed that the effect of virtual learning on PAI learning outcomes was in good category, the influence of parental participation on PAI learning outcomes was in good criteria, and the influence of virtual learning and parental participation had a significant effect on PAI learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMPN 4 Karanganyar academix year 2020/2021 which is in the good category.

This research was about Monitor Comprehension Strategy (MCS) to the reading comprehension of students in class 8 SMPN 9 Batam in academic year 2015/2016. The purpose of this study was to find the influence of strategy on reading comprehension of students. To get the purpose of the study, researchers conducted research experiments. 5QAAnumber of students is 210. Researchers used a purposive sampling technique to determine the grade of research. The subject was VIII.4 and VIII.7 classes totaling 30 students each class. Researchers conduct research in two classes. The first class (VIII.4) as experimental class and the second class (VIII.7) as the control class. In analyzing the data researchers used quantitative calculation to find the result. Data were analyzed showed significant differences before getting treatment for an average of 67.50 and 67.17 for the control class. The average score obtained student after getting treatment in the experimental class are 82.50 and 78.50. Based on these result, the use of Monitor comprehension strategy gives significant influence on student’s reading comprehension. Keywords: students’ reading comprehension, monitor comprehension strategy

This research aims to determine the influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understand of mathematical concept students class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The method used in this research is pure experiment. The population is the entire class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau academic year 2016/2017 which amounts to 444 students, as the sample is class VIII.9 as experimental class and class VIII.7 as a control class taken at random. Data collection is done by test technique. Collected data was analyzed using t-test at significant level α = 0,05, obtained tcount > ttable that is 3,48 > 1.67, so it can be concluded that there is significant influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understanding of mathematical concepts student class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average score of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the final test of the experimental class is 25.23 and the control class is 17.44. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the pictorial riddle learning method on the mastery of physics concepts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was an experimental research with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang, totaling 49 students. The samples of this research were students in class VIII A, which amounted to 25 students as the experimental class, and class VIII B, which consisted of 24 students as the control class. The data collection method in this research was the test method. The data analysis used was a statistical test using the t polled variant t test statistical formula. Based on data analysis using the t polled variant test, it was concluded that the results of the posttest physics of students learning with the pictorial riddle method were high. Of the 25 students, there were 15 students (60%) who scored in the high category, and the average score of the class posttest results was 78.58. The results of the posttest physics of students who learned using conventional methods were in the low category, from a total of 24 students, 12 students (50%) obtained low category scores, and the average score of posttest results was 67.75. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the pictorial riddle method on mastery of physics concepts in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Buay Madang for the 2020/2021 academic year with a tcount of 7.37 while ttable is 1.98. Because tcount score is not located between - ttable ≤ tcount <+ ttable, which is -1.98 and +1.98, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract : The background of this research is "The Ability to Identify Elements of Drama Text in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 11 Kendari". The problem in this research is how is the ability to identify the elements of drama text for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Kendari? The purpose to be achieved in this study is to describe the ability to identify elements of drama text for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Kendari. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kendari in the 2018/2019 academic year consisting of 4 classes with a total of 104. Based on the results of the study, of the 73 students who were research respondents, there were 38 students (52%) who obtained categories are able to individually identify elements of drama text. While 35 students (47%) obtained the category of being unable to individually identify elements of drama text. It can be concluded that the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Kendari in identifying the elements of drama text are categorized as incapable. That said, because classically the ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Kendari in identifying elements of drama text only reached 52%. From the elements of the drama text, it can be seen that the elements most understood by students are the themes, character characters and mandates in the drama, while the setting of the place is still poorly understood by students. This can be seen in the acquisition of student scores in research. The elements of drama text include aspects of the theme (95.89%), aspects of 3 elements in dialogue (79.45%), aspects of the stages of the plot (34.24%), aspects of character characters (86.30%), aspects of the setting (17.80%), mandate aspect (98.63%). Of the six aspects assessed, there are three aspects that are categorized as capable, namely aspects of the theme, character character and mandate, while three aspects are classified as in the incapable category, namely aspects of the 3 elements in dialogue, stages of flow, and setting of the place. Keywords: ability; identify; drama elements

The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of class VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu academic year 2016/2017. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. Data in this research is data type and data in this research is student of class VII. Technique of writing data in this research is survey, a questionnaire. Data analysis technique is a percentage technique that is digging the data, calculate the percentage and analyze the data. Validity test using content validity and visible validity. The result of the research shows that the literacy profile of the students of VII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu in the academic year 2016/2017 in 75% abituation aspect is appropriate but must be improved again and all the school should be involved in literacy activities. The literacy profile in making 78% decisions is appropriate but should be corrected again. The students' literacy profile in the learning aspect as a whole is 77% fit but must be folded again in critical thinking even though it is not included in the quality Keywords: profile, literacy

This research is motivated by the lack of vocabulary that is known by students and the lack of media and learning methods so that the learning process becomes boring. The problem in this study is how the results of the application of video animation media with the inquiry method in summarizing the legend story text in class VIII SMP IT Daarut Tahfidz Karangasem, Demak Regency? The purpose of this study is to describe the application of animated video media with the inquiry method in summarizing the legendary text of the class VIII SMP IT Daarut Tahfidz Karangasem in the academic year of 2020. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study based on the test scores show different percentages. Of the 28 students there is 1 student or 4% who have not completed and 27 students or 96% have completed. The class average score of the results of the test was 80.65. This value has reached the school's KKM score of 70.Thus, animated video media with the inquiry method in learning summarizes the legendary story text in class VIII SMP IT Daarut Tahfidz Karangasem, Demak Regency, 2020 academic year.
