In Indonesia, public asset privatization policy has been valid since the Oil and Gas Law Number 22 the Year 2001. The objectives of this research were: (1) To determine the criteria for public assets according to the idea of Syekh Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani., (2) To find out the Islamic economic analysis of the idea of Syekh Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani on the privatization of public assets. The data source of this research is secondary data, which were taken from literature and books from research correlating to the object of this study and other required data. The data analysis in this research is descriptive. First, various data collected were analyzed using content analysis technique (content analysis), then the study and analysis of the data are carried out to obtain the conclusions. After conducting the research and analysis, it is concluded that (1) Syekh Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani classifies public assets based on the types of ownership, namely public ownership and state ownership, (2) Islam strongly prohibits the management of public assets through privatization. However, it is returned to the State, and its use by the public is permitted by shara'.

Not all aspects of Western culture, reflected in the language used in Walt Disney’s Donald Duck comics, are acceptable in Indonesia. So, in translating the comics, the translators have to manipulate the text for it to be acceptable by the target readers and parents. This research aims at finding out censorship through the translation techniques used by the translators in translating the English humorous texts in the Walt Disney’s Donald Duck comics into Indonesian and the reasons underlying the translators’ choice of the translation techniques. It also aims at analysing whether or not the choice of the translation techniques affects the rendering of meaning, maintenance of humour, and acceptability of the translation. For these purposes a qualitative method was employed with content analysis technique and reader response analysis. Content analysis was used in comparing the source text (ST) and target text (TT) to find out the translation techniques used as a means of censorship and to find out the translators’ reasons for choosing the techniques. Reader-response analysis was done to find out the readers’ response to the rendering of meaning and maintenance of humour in the translation. The research findings discovered that the translators performed censorship through the dominant use of reduction and generalisation techniques so as to reduce sarcasm and insults. The interview with the publisher’s Senior Editor also revealed that “decency” was the first priority in the translation decision making, followed by clarity of meaning and maintenance of humour. Further research to investigate other elements censored, and compared with other translated comics is recommended.

This research aims to describe the correlation of mathematics skills as the basic skills that students need in order to solve physics problems that seem complicated and difficult to understand. Physics describes the order of nature in mathematical equations thus the ultimate goal of physics in finding other sequences and making use of it in real life can be achieved more easily. This research was conducted using literature study approach. The data were collected by means of documentation with secondary data obtained from several references. The data were then analyzed using content analysis technique. A relevant summary of the correlation between proper mathematical understanding and complex physics problem-solving ability was attained from this research. These results were confirmed by the data gained from a range of references in the form of books, both online and offline journals as well as prior conferences that have been read, reviewed and analyzed by focusing on the mastery of mathematics skills in developing students' critical thinking to work out physics problems.

This research examines the underlying motive of CSR implementation and design, according to maqasid al-sharia. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to obtain primary data through interviews with 5 CSR informants. Secondary data was collected from the public company’s annual report on the IDX in 2019. Data was sampled and examined using purposive and content analysis technique. The results showed that there are 2 motives in CSR, specifically social and economic. Furthermore, the economic motive is more dominant and expects provision of monetary feedback. Consequently, CSR becomes less effective and most programs do not follow the real stakeholders’ needs. The dignity of CSR needs to be regained by implementing maqasid al-sharia dimensions. There are 2 approaches used to implement CSR, including a support system that utilizes pressure. The transcendental approach initiates corporate actors through religious values from maqasid al-sharia, making the implementation more humanist and stakeholder-oriented.

Abstract Some theorists argue that collaborative networks are self-regulated structures, and their coordination strategy must be essentially horizontal and shaded by a “hierarchy.” In contrast, others assume that structuring of coordination processes and the establishment of roles is considered to be necessary to achieve the desired results that hierarchise relationships between different actors. Based on this apparent counterpoint, this article is dedicated to understanding the coordination structure of The Colour of Culture (A Cor da Cultura - ACDC) network. Specifically, we are guided by these questions: Can ACDC be characterised as a self-regulated network or as a hierarchical arrangement? What are the functions/dysfunctions of the network’s coordination elements on the ACDC network? The operationalisation of the research relied on the use of primary and secondary data: coded, categorised, and classified using the thematic content analysis technique. The results of the case study indicate how the coordination instruments adopted led some to view the ACDC network as a hierarchical arrangement. However, there are indications that it was the adoption of these instruments that facilitated the achievement of these results. That is, the case demonstrates the possibility of coexistence between a network and hierarchical coordination mechanisms.

The purpose of the study is to examine views of geography teachers on innovative geography teaching. The study group consists of 15 geography teachers (8 Females, 7 Males). The study is designed in keeping with phenomenological research. Semi-structured interview form is used as a data collection tool in the study. The collected data are analyzed through content analysis based on inductive analysis technique. Themes are derived from codes. The content analysis results reveal that the geography teachers are satisfied with their professions, the teachers who can keep up with technological and methodological developments in their field, are regarded as innovative teachers, innovative geography teachers are the ones who integrate new technologies into their lessons, the internet resources are the most significant application form in following the innovations, the participants consider making innovation in geography teaching as a part of their profession, and proficiency in the use of computers plays a crucial role in becoming innovative. The research findings have been discussed in relation to the literature and some recommendations have been given.

Imam Hanafi believes that zakat funds should not be saved or invested. While Imam Maliki, Imam Syafie and Imam Hambali stated that zakat funds could be spent on a specific condition. This paper aims to analyse the investment of zakat funds at the zakat institution Pulau Penang (ZPP) from the view of zakat Experts. The question is, whether investing zakat funds is allowed? The objective of this paper will use secondary data through content analysis methods. Research findings show that Experts have two views, namely the first group that does not allow and the two groups that justify. Zakat Experts in Malaysia are more likely to view the investment of zakat funds is required for the interests of the eight legitimate recipients (asnaf) itself. Their reason is the benefit of the people. In ZPP, zakat fund investments are more concentrated in non-material. The forms are like Zakat Hemodialysis Center (PHZ) and the development of education, when in the form of investment materials made in fixed deposits in Islamic banking institutions. Can also show that zakat fund investment is justified if the following the sharia invests.

The attention on innovations in agriculture is recent and, over the past decades, there has been a change in this matter. This new reality has brought in enormous changes to this business, promoting productivity gains and changing the dynamics of agribusiness. This research aim to understand these innovations following four types proposed by Tidd, Bessant and Pavitt (2008): innovation of product, process, position and paradigm. Primary data was collected through semi-structured interviews with ten key actors in this production chain. These interviews were analyzed using content analysis whereas the secondary data were analyzed qualitatively by means of the document analysis technique. Results showed that several innovations occurred in the bovine sector over the past two decades, essentially based on incremental focus, and directed to improving product quality and achieving production efficiency gains. Despite this progress, quality is still a challenge in the sector, in part by limiting access to some markets. In this sense, the action of some agents seems essential to overcome the main barriers of this sector.
