DEVELOPMENT OF ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC COMPETENCE IN FINE ARTS TEACHERS

The peculiarity of the training of future teachers of fine arts in the article is the formation of professional skills in working in the field of fine, decorative and applied arts in educational institutions and teaching fine arts. Because the quality of performance is important, if the evaluation of creative work and the criteria for it are clear, then the formation and evaluation of pedagogical competence is also a topical issue for the teacher of fine arts.

The study aimed to analyze the visual quality of the Educational Institutions and their Surroundings (EITS) in the campus of Ataturk University in Erzurum city of Turkey. Visual Quality Analysis Questionnaire was applied to 74 students studying at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The questionnaire consisted of 21 EITS. Results were analyzed using Variance and Duncan multiple comparison. It was determined that Faculty of Fishery (EITS13) had the highest visual quality score (3.243), followed by Agriculture Faculty (EITS1: 3.134) and the Divine Faculty (EITS2: 2.906). The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine had the lowest visual quality score (EITS11: 2.165), followed by High-Tech Research Centre (EITS20: 2.243) and Faculty of Law (EITS16: 2.315). Statistically significant relationship was found between the department of the students and the scores they gave to Sports Science Faculty (EITS1), Education Faculty (EITS4), Faculty of Medicine (EITS10), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (EITS11), Faculty of Fine Arts and Tourism (EITS15), and Rectorate Building (EITS19). Among the Visual Quality Criteria (VQC) of EITS, accessibility to the structure (VQC12) was the most effective criterion (2.927, p<0.05). This study recommended the correction of design deficiencies to compensate for the lack of visual quality of new buildings or to improve the entire landscape of the campus.

Arts and crafts, preserves the historical and spiritual and cultural memory of the people, is a manifestation of their actions and feelings. It is that powerful root of human growth and improvement, nourishes the next generation with the life-giving force of the past. Contemplation and perfect mastery of arts and crafts motivates students to perceive any scientific, artistic information through the prism of studies, transform it in oneself and turn it into the property of the national spirit, culture, defend their ideals, views and beliefs. The subject of this article is a retrospective analysis of historical experience regarding the possibilities of arts and crafts in the formation of artistic and pedagogical competence of future teachers of fine arts. A thorough study of history, trends in the development of arts and crafts, mastering the techniques of creating art products contributes to the process of transferring students' knowledge into their beliefs, influences the actions and deeds of future teachers.

The article presents and verifies the author’s component-based methodology for developing artistic-pedagogical competency in fine arts teachers-to-be. It can be implemented in theoretical training based on the system of museum and tourism activities accorded with Ukrainian folk holidays, multimedia support and artistic-pedagogical design as factors in the optimal transformation of theoretical knowledge into practical skills, as well as students’ understanding of symbolism in arts and crafts. Also, the article presents the results drawn from the implementation of the author’s methodology in the educational process to prove its effectiveness. The analysis of the presented data indicates a pronounced tendency towards the increase in the levels of all components of artistic-pedagogical competency.

In educational institutions, the teacher is the most important component, where he as an actor, implementer and spearhead of the educational process in terms of education and teaching. The quality of the learning process requires the development of human resource educators, especially the development of teacher competencies, this is an effort to prepare teachers to have various insights, knowledge, skills, and provide confidence to carry out their duties and obligations. In this case, the researcher analyzes Pedagogic Competence and the Use of Learning Media. The methodology in this study uses a quantitative approach and uses double regression analysis of two variables. As for the data collection in this study using a questionnaire to obtain data on pedagogical competence and the use of instructional media. While the method of observation and documentation to obtain information about learning outcomes, populations, samples, and other information needed in research. The results concluded that this study showed that there was no influence between the completeness of learning media variables (X2) and the Fiqh (Y) learning outcomes in MA Darusslam Krempyang Nganjuk.
