Enhancing the Skills of Memorizing the Five Basics of Tajweed in Holy Quran Recitation This article aims to study students’ memorization skills on the five basics of tajweed when reciting the Quran. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of pre and post-tests on 10 form 2 students (DLP) from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Panglima Bukit Gantang, Parit Buntar, Perak. Before the researcher introduces a new method of teaching tajweed, the researcher must first detect the weaknesses of the students. A preliminary survey was done by checking students’ reciting during teaching sessions and it was found that most students are not able to memorize the five basics of tajweed apart from there are many errors in reciting. So, the researcher introduced the method of the right-hand finger to ensure that students can memorize the five basics of tajweed and recite the holy Quran well. The findings of the study show that students are not only able to memorize tajweed but can also recognize the types of recitation. The findings of this study also contribute to the basic information on the function of tanween (ًٌٍ ) and nun sakinah (نْ). The right-handed finger method has its advantages and this method needs to be expanded as a teaching aid in the mainstream.

Islam is the religion of peace. Islamic law describe a complete and comprehensive law of punishment for the eradication of crimes and maintenance of peace. According to Islamic law, the punishments can be classified under three main categories: Al-Hudud (fixed punishments), Al-qisas (Retaliation), and Al-Taazir (discretionary). Hudud means the punishment which has been specified in the Holy Quran and Sunnah and no individual or group has the right to amend or abrogate it. The second is Qisas, which means the equal retaliation of an aggression committed against the body of a person. The third Kind of Islamic legal punishment is Taazir, it means, a crime for which The Holy Quran and Sunnah have not fixed any punishment, instead, have left it to the discretion of the judges. But in the recent era, many of the Muslim countries don’t leave the punishments of the penal crimes (Taaziraat) to the discretion of the Judges, each Muslim state restrict the rights of the Judge to give punishment at his own’s discretion, and legislating for the punishments of penal crimes (Taaziraat), and make the Judges abide by a particular measure of punishment for penal crimes (Taaziraat). In this articles, we will analyze the above mentioned issue in the light of Islamic principles, that what, it is lawful for any Muslim state to legislate for the punishment of penal crimes or not?

Recurring episodes of transboundary haze have been similarly to an annual event in Malaysia since the 1980’s. Transboundary haze is typically haze caused by forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan, Indonesia which moves thousands of miles and encompasses neighboring regional countries. This is caused by human hands that continue to pursue unplanned development without taking into account the aspect of environmental sustainability. This study looks into and the understanding of recurring occurrences of transboundary haze in Sarawak. From the perspective of Islam, by making the Holy Quran as the absolute source of reference, God forbids the destruction of nature and calls upon mankind to do good not only to other humans and animals but also to the environment. Human beings are endowed with a great mind that can guide them to make and do the right thing, thus, various efforts need to be taken into consideration and be done collectively amongst the ASEAN countries in a joint effort towards reducing or preventing continuous episodes of transboundary haze within the region.

Background: Anxiety is one of the most common psychological problems after myocardial infarction and can lead to many problems in acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Two possible ways to reduce anxiety are to listen to music and to recite the Holy Quran, the effects of which have never been compared to date. Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of listening to instrumental music and listening to Quran recitation on the anxiety level of patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods: This semi-experimental study was conducted among 96 patients with ACS referred to Hajar Hospital, Shahrekord, Iran, from 3/10/2019 to 4/30/2019. The patients were entered into the study using the convenience sampling method and then randomly assigned to the three groups of Quran recitation, instrumental music, and control. In this study, the patients’ anxiety level was measured using Spielberger’s state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) before and after listening to Quran recitation and instrumental music. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 16 using descriptive and analytical tests, including paired samples t-test, Chi-square, and one-way ANOVA. Results: Anxiety level decreased from 43.1 ± 6.15 to 38.5 ± 3.82 in Quran recitation group (P < 0.001) and from 44.2 ± 1.21 to 39.1 ± 4.17 in the instrumental music group (P = 0.035), and from 46.3 ± 3.84 to 44.7 ± 6.21 in the control group (P < 0.001). There was no significant difference between the three groups before the program. However, the mean score of anxiety level showed a significant difference, indicating that listening to Quran recitation had a greater effect than listening to instrumental music in reducing the patients’ anxiety (P = 0.02). Conclusions: Both interventions can be useful in decreasing the anxiety level of patients with ACS; however, the Holy Quran recitation had a greater effect in this regard.

The Quranic sciences of interpretations and principles of interpretations were originated in the epoch of holy prophet (saw) but compilation of both were started later. This is called principles of interpretations, which is the basic and important part of Islamic studies. Islamic scholars, commentators and explicators explained the holy Quran in the light of principles of interpretations. These are such basic principles those are guide lines for them so they will not deviate or drop the right way while interpreting and explaining the holy verses. These principles are laid down and followed by them so that they may find the will of Allah and actual meaning of holy Quran. A little difference in principles causes a huge difference in interpretation. Different methodology in principles resulted in many schools of thought. This article focusses on examining these schools of thought found in sub-continent and introduce their main books. This article deals with chronological evolution of said knowledge i.e. principles of interpretations, and Quranic sciences specially originated by the famous principalities and interpreters of sub-continent.

A new method of massive Feynman integrals calculation which is based on the rule of integration by parts is presented. This rule is expanded to the massive case. By applying this rule, we obtain a differential equation with respect to the mass for the initial diagram. The right-hand side of the equation contains simpler diagrams (i.e., containing only loops, not chains). This can be done by applying the procedure consecutively. These loops can be calculated either by the standard Feynman-parameter procedure or by a procedure which decreases the number of loops step-by-step. We demonstrate the capacities of this method for various complicated diagrams and make an attempt to analyze other possible massive Feynman diagrams calculations.

Signature authentication with static and dynamic features of signature has been studied for decades, in this paper a novel and new method based on estimating elasticity and viscoelasticity characteristics of the muscles and tendons of index finger of the right hand was presented and the angles between the finger knuckles were collected by data collection glove and the location of digital pen tip on sensitive pad is stored in computer too. With NMC model and writing required mathematical equations and inverse modeling, physiological characteristics of muscles and tendons of right hand were estimated by LMS criteria. This approach has been applied on 30 right-hand persons that of each individual 5 genuine signature and some ordinary forgers to counterfeit genuine signature only by seeing the shape of original signature. 93.4% forgery signatures could have been recognized from genuine and only 6.6% could not have been detected. For verification, we used 5-fold cross-validation, with mean of EER[Formula: see text] 3.57 and standard deviation of EER[Formula: see text] 0.736. Therefore, we identified the physiological viscoelasticity and elasticity of muscles and tendons of hand as a new biometric.

Delegation of divorce and its revocation is an important issue in the discipline of Muslim family law, which especially highlighted by Muslim scholars in Pakistan after the legislation of Muslim Family Law Ordinance 1961 in this regard. Actually, the legality of the issue in the classical Muslim jurisprudence is not questionable due to its institution by the legal texts of the Holy Quran and Sunnah. But the Muslim scholars distinguish between pre- and post-contract delegation of right of divorce to the wife. As for as concerned the Pakistani Muslim family Law ordinance 1961, which legalized that right to divorce may be delegated to wife at all. We have tried to study in this article the real status of the issue in the light of Quran and Sunnah and opinions of the early Muslim Jurists in this regard. This study is based on the comparison between the practically applied law in Pakistan and legitimate position of the said case in Islamic Law.
