Background: According to Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), adolescents are aged 10-24 years and are not married. Indonesian Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) 2018 showed around 58.8% of adolescents aged 10-19 years had been married and had had a pregnancy. The Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI) results revealed that risk behavior among male junior and senior high school students was around 8.06%, and female were 4.17%. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the Planning Generation (GenRe) Program knowledge and adolescents’ characteristics with dating experience in East Java Province. Method: This research was a cross-sectional study. Secondary data were collected from the 2019 Program Performance and Accountability Survey (SKAP) and were analyzed descriptively with cross-tabulation and chi-square tests. The risk estimate calculation was also carried out to identify the Odd Ratio (OR). The sample used was 5,300 adolescents in East Java Province after weighting. The research variables consisted of dating behavior in adolescents, age, gender, and adolescents' knowledge about GenRe, HIV/AIDS, drugs, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Adolescent Reproductive Health Program. Results: The results showed that 41.80% of adolescents in East Java had dated. There was a significant correlation between dating behavior with adolescents’ knowledge about GenRe, HIV/AIDS, drugs, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Adolescent Reproductive Health Program (P-Value = 0.00). Dating behavior also had a significant correlation with age (P-Value = 0.00) and gender (P-Value = 0.00). This study concluded that there was a correlation between dating behavior in adolescents in East Java Province with age, gender, and adolescents’ knowledge about GenRe, HIV/AIDS, drugs, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs), and Adolescent Reproductive Health Program. They were strengthening the GenRe program through the introduction, explanation of program activities, and the process of youth involvement. So far, teenagers only know the name of the GenRe program. The problem of adolescent reproductive health in Indonesia is about sexuality, HIV / AIDS and drugs. The problem occurs due to low knowledge of the TRIAD KRR which will affect the attitudes that adolescents will take in relation to the TRIAD KRR. The low level of knowledge occurs due to the lack of education that adolescents get about TRIAD KRR. The aim of this study was to find out the effect of providing counseling through audio-visual and webtoon on increasing knowledge and attitudes about the three basic threats to adolescent reproductive health (TRIAD KRR). This research is a quasi experimental study using a two groups pretest-posttest design approach. The research sample was students of SMAN 8 Cirebon City. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilxocon test, paired t test and the Man-witney test. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis of the median pretest obtained for knowledge in the audiovisual group was 8.0000 and the posttest was 11,000. In the attitude, the median value for pretest was 36.00 and posttest was 37.00. Bivariate analysis in the audio-visual group, both knowledge and attitude, obtained p value 0.000 (<0.05). In the knowledge of the webtoon group, the p value was 0.000 (<0.05) and for the attitude, the p value was 0.350 (> 0.05). Differences in knowledge of audio visual media with webtoon obtained p value of 0.411 and for attitude that is 0.033. There is no significant difference in knowledge through audio-visual media and webtoon but in attitude there is a difference

<p>Antiretroviral treatment side-effects and patient compliance with medical instructions continue to be a growing challenge for HIV/AIDS patients. Arv therapy has resulted in a substantial intervention that has been successful in preventing transmission and opportunistic infection. The main objective of this study was to analyze the association between side-effects of ARV therapy and medication adherence as well as another potential confounding such as opportunistic infection, family support, stress level, knowledge of ARV, marital status, and occupation. This study is a quantitative approach by using cross-sectional methods. A total of 244 respondents from 1.180 patients with confirmed HIV registered in the Care Support and Treatment (CST) service and Sriwijaya Community in the City of Palembang to respond to the survey. Non-random sampling was used to collect the samples. As the result, the majority of the respondents were male (84,43 %), ≥30 years old (57,4%), and secondary school graduates (52%). After adjusting with stress and opportunistic infection variable, a Multivariate regression analysis revealed a positive relationship between side effects and medication adherence (p-value of 0,041; 0,05), OR Adj 2,131 (1,190-4,988). PLHV who had adverse effects had a 2.131 times worse adherence rate than those who did not. In conclusion, medication adherence must be greatly improved in light of therapeutic side effects, stress levels, and opportunistic infection.</p>

This brief is based on a background paper prepared for the WHO/UNFPA/Population Council Technical Consultation on Married Adolescents, held in Geneva, Switzerland, December 9–12, 2003. The final paper is entitled “Including married adolescents in adolescent reproductive health and HIV/AIDS policy.” The consultation brought together experts from the United Nations, donors, and nongovernmental agencies to consider the evidence regarding married adolescent girls’ reproductive health, vulnerability to HIV infection, social and economic disadvantage, and rights. The relationships to major policy initiatives—including safe motherhood, HIV, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and reproductive rights—were explored, and emerging findings from the still relatively rare programs that are directed at this population were discussed. Married adolescent girls are outside the conventionally defined research interests, policy diagnosis, and basic interventions that have underpinned adolescent reproductive health programming and many HIV/AIDS prevention activities. They are an isolated, often numerically large, and extremely vulnerable segment of the population, largely untouched by current intervention strategies. As stated in this brief, promoting later marriage, to at least age 18, and shoring up protection options within marriage may be essential means of stemming the epidemic.
