Ten rolling stock manufacturers were operating in Poland in 2020. These were both domestic enterprises (Pesa, Newag) as well as branches of foreign concerns (Siemens, Bombardier, Alstom, Stadler). A similar division can be deemed conventional since the aforementioned enterprises employ mostly Polish specialists or managers – and work with Polish subcontractors. On the other hand, Polish manufacturers use mainly imported components in the production process. The range of the currently manufactured rolling stock is quite wide – from multiple units to locomotives with electric and diesel drives, adapted to run on both standard and broad gauge tracks. Polish plants also manufacture underground train-sets, mostly for export. New rolling stock orders placed by operators are carried out with the support of EU funding programmes.

ABSTRACT: The production of concrete in dosing plants is growing and, with this, there is also an increase of inherent residues of the production process. The objective of this paper is to verify the panorama of the research related to residual sludge of concrete with emphasis on its recycling in masonry units. In order to do so, the systemic mapping was performed with the purpose of finding main publications and studies referring to the desired slope, through the CAPES Periodic database, and the searches belong to two main topics: the use of residues in concrete masonry and studies related to concrete sludge waste. In general, it can be observed that there is a great variety of residues applied in masonry, being the most studied the use of fly ash and construction and demolition residues. On the other hand, there are still few studies that use residual sludge in concrete products, mainly for the production of masonry. In this context, it is understood that there is no consensus regarding the best use of concrete sludge waste, emphasizing the need for research to corroborate or contradict the results obtained. Finally, this work points to a residue that has not yet been studied, but with possible applications in new research. Its characteristics such as the presence of SiO2 and CaO indicate a potential for use as a binder, which can lead to a reduction in the consumption of cement.

This paper describes the importance of the raw materials Inventory supervision for production process. The concepts described in this paper was studied using the descriptive theoretical analysis. It is concluded that (1) Raw Materials Inventory control is highly needed by both small and big companies to take care of the production process stabilization; (2) The production process will find problems when there is no good control of the Inventory. This causes anstable production process effecting finnace of the companies. The long period of materials inventory causes campany loss. On the other hand, small amount of inventory will also cause the production processes stop. Such situation will also influence marketting and the supply to the consumers; (3) Unstable producation process will cause unstable product supply in the market, and (4) To ensure that the consumers’ needs are continuously completed, control of the raw materials inventory needs to be done and maintained.

Restructuring can be defined as a set of measures that are applied in an economic entity (company or entrepreneur) that has fallen into financial difficulties. These measures do not apply only to the field of finance, but also to the entire business of the company or entrepreneur. We distinguish financial and operational restructuring, which are the two most common forms of this institute. Financial restructuring refers to redefining the relationship between company as a debtor and a creditors. On the other hand, operational restructuring involves optimizing the production process, increasing productivity, eliminating inefficiencies, and other measures. Also, we distinguish formal (court proceedings) and informal (debtors-creditors agreement) approach in defining restructuring. In Republic of Srpska, Act of Bankruptcy regulates the restructuring process in which the debtor’s status is defined, as well as its relationship with the creditors, in order to continue the activity. This paper criticizes the method of regulating this institute, bearing in mind that there is no clear difference between this procedure and the reorganization proceeding. In addition, author analyzes of the regulation of this institute (consensual financial restructuring) in Serbia and Croatia.

Abstract This study approaches translations as framing and representation sites that can serve to either contest or promote stereotypes. Critically looking at textual and visual images of the source culture, the discussion considers how the particular location of different participants in the translation production process contributes to the presentation of violence as a predominant image of Western Balkan nations. The analysis uncovers networks of source-based production participants focusing on images of ‘nesting’ Balkanisms and self-representations centring on love and humaneness. On the other hand, networks led by editors located in the target culture often emphasise the preconceived stereotypes of dominant violence in the Western Balkans or turn towards globalising the images of violence.

Additive manufacturing has become a very important manufacturing method in the last years. With additive manufacturing, a higher level of function integration can be achieved compared to traditional manufacturing technologies. However, the manufacturing of larger parts leads to long construction times. A possible solution is the combination of multipoint moulding with additive manufactured form elements. This article reviews the state of technology for multipoint moulding and additive manufacturing. Moreover, the state of technology is analysed to outline the possibilities and challenges of combining both technologies. The review shows that there has been research on different challenges of the new production process. On the other hand, it turns out clearly that there are many open points at the intersections of both technologies. Finally, the areas where further research is necessary are described in detail.
