This paper derives from the activities of the University Penitentiary Center of the University of Sassari and aims to explore the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on university teaching in prison. The subject of penitentiary university teaching is innovative and relevant for educational research and brings into play different skills, professionals, services and institutions. The theoretical framework describes how the right to study in prison is declined on a methodological level. The field research carried out in Sardinia has tried to give the student's voice in prison and the point of view of educators on the educational and organizational impact on university study paths during the pandemic; it is a voice that returns the complexity of a difficult moment, but which also offers useful ideas and stimuli for a more aware restart of the limits and challenges to be faced, as well as good practices to be developed, particularly at the interface between different public institutions as the University and the Penitentiary Administration are.   La didattica universitaria in carcere nell’ambito del Polo Universitario Penitenziario di Sassari: pratiche, ricerca e sviluppi ai tempi della pandemia.   Il presente contributo nasce nell’ambito dell’attività del Polo Universitario Penitenziario dell’Università di Sassari e si propone di esplorare l’impatto della pandemia da Covid 19 sulla didattica universitaria in carcere. Il tema della didattica universitaria penitenziaria è innovativo e rilevante per la ricerca educativa e chiama in gioco diverse competenze, professionalità, servizi e istituzioni. Il quadro teorico e normativo di riferimento traccia le coordinate in cui si inserisce il diritto allo studio in carcere e ne declina i significati e le implicazioni sul piano metodologico. La ricerca sul campo realizzata in Sardegna ha cercato di dar voce agli studenti detenuti e agli educatori in merito alle ricadute a livello educativo ed organizzativo sui percorsi di studio durante la pandemia; una voce che restituisce la complessità di un momento difficile, ma che offre anche spunti e stimoli utili per una ripartenza più consapevole dei limiti e delle sfide da affrontare, così come delle buone prassi da sviluppare soprattutto all’interfaccia tra istituzioni pubbliche, quali sono l’Università e l’Amministrazione Penitenziaria.

Muitos estudos já analisaram o impacto do neoliberalismo nos sistemas de ensino superior no Brasil e em outros países. O tema, contudo, continua atualíssimo, até mesmo porque uma das características mais marcantes do ideário neoliberal é sua capacidade, diante de injunções históricas, de adaptação. Assim, este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar alguns debates teóricos sobre o neoliberalismo e analisar os principais estratagemas de interferência da dogmática neoliberal na organização das instituições públicas de ensino superior, reconhecendo que essa intervenção, à vista do que preveem os manuais neoliberalizantes, é uma obra ainda longe de estar completa e que tende, no atual contexto, a se aprofundar. Buscaremos, por fim, apontar algumas estratégias de confrontação cotidiana ao gerencialismo neoliberal no espaço universitário a partir de ações coletivas pautadas por um fazer pedagógico crítico e emancipador.Palavras-chave: Neoliberalismo. Nevertheless, the subject remains very current, because one of the most remarkable characteristics of the neoliberal ideology is its capacity of adaptation in face of historical impositions. Thus, this article aims to present some theoretical debates about Neoliberalism and to analyze the main stratagems of disruption used by the neoliberal dogma in the organization of public institutions of higher education. It acknowledges the fact that this intervention is a work in progress, far from being complete, and which tends to be enhanced in the current context, regarding what the neoliberalizing manuals envision. Specific Learning Disorders involve a plurality of functions that impact the decoding of the alphabetic code. They have an evolutionary character, that is, vary according to the age of the subject. The present work, connected to positive practical experiences, investigates the characteristics of DSAs in adulthood and the impact with university teaching. It presents the outcomes in progress of an interdisciplinary project (including pedagogical, medical and engineering area). Learning Disabilities (LD) disorder are relatively new for the education at the university level, and have therefore pushed teachers and researcher to define research projects, both scientific and pedagogic, aimed to suit the needs of LD students. In such perspective, due to the high variability of LD manifestations and degrees and also to the peculiar students’ features, a multidisciplinary approach and strategies are required to identify personalized educational paths for LD students while respecting, the specificity and the objectives of the different university courses.

This study aims to identify the impact of the internal environment and its relation with the empowerment of employee (female/) in the academic field: Case study (Ali Istiqlal University). This study is descriptive according to qualitative approach using a non-probable sample by social survey by the sample method in the College of Administrative Sciences. The total of the study community has reached (141) faculty members at Istiqlal University, and the sample was restricted to faculty members in the Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and they are (15) faculty members. In this connection the researcher relied on an interview guide from his preparation, and the interviews were conducted from the viewpoint of the faculty members in the Department of Public Administration. Where the results of the study revealed that the university environment is a bureaucratic environment dominated by the male style, which is a reflection of the prevailing societal culture, as the candidates for senior positions are always men, being more influential from the point of view of the institution and there is no feeling that they are possible in the organization or influences in general in their workplace This may be because of selectivity as the challenges facing academies in the administrative environment due to centralization and the lack of a clear system of incentives and rewards prevent their empowerment, there is a great shortage in terms of the material aspect of the university of furniture and office equipment and the lack of complete infrastructure in the fact that the university is modern and under development. The results of the study reached a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is the removal of bureaucratic obstacles hindering the leadership of faculty members and finding a gender balance in employment and scholarships by Palestinian higher education through systems that guarantee the right to equal access to opportunities, and reducing centralization through delegation and empowerment And responsibilities for academies. Create a clear, stable and fair system of incentives and rewards, provide appropriate financial conditions, fight wasta and adopt transparency in employment. هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد أثر البيئة الداخلية وعلاقتها بتمكين الموظفات في المجال الاكاديمي: دراسة حالةفي جامعة الاستقلال، حيث تنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى نمط الدراسات الوصفية بالاعتماد على المنهج النوعي،باستخدام عينة غير احتمالية عن طريق المسح الاجتماعي بأسلوب العينة في كلية العلوم الإدارية وقد بلغإجمالي مجتمع الدراسة ) 141 ( عضو هيئة تدريس في جامعة الاستقلال، وتم حصر العينة على أعضاء الهيئةالتدريسية بقسم الإدارة العامة بكلية العلوم الإدارية والبالغ عددهم ) 15 ( عضو هيئة تدريس، ) 5( من الإناثو ) 10 ( من الذكور. اعتمد الباحث على دليل مقابلة من إعداده وتم إجراء المقابلات من وجهة نظر أعضاءالهيئة التدريسية في قسم الإدارة العامة. حيث كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن بيئة الجامعة بيئة بيروقراطية ويغلبعليها النمط الذكوري ، وهي انعكاس للثقافة المجتمعية السائدة، حيث ان المرشحين للمناصب العليا دائماهم الرجال كونهم مؤثرين بشكل أكثر من وجهة نظر المؤسسة ولا يوجد شعور بأنهن ممكنات في المنظمة أومؤثرات بشكل عام في مكان عملهن وقد يكون ذلك بسبب الانتقائية ، حيث ان التحديات التي تواجهالأكاديميات في البيئة الإدارية بسبب المركزية وعدم توفر نظام واضح للحوافز والمكافآت تحول دون تمكينهن،ويوجد نقص كبير فيما يخص الجانب المادي بالجامعة من أثاث وتجهيزات مكتبية وعدم اكتمال البنية التحتيةبشكل كامل كون الجامعة حديثة وفي قيد التطور. وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصياتومن أبرزها إزالة العوائق البيروقراطية التي تعيق ريادة عضوات هيئة التدريس وإيجاد توازن جندري في التوظيفوالمنح الدراسية من قبل التعليم العالي الفلسطيني من خلال أنظمة تكفل حق المساواة في الحصول على الفرص، والحد من المركزية من خلال التفويض ومنح الصلاحيات والمسؤوليات للأكاديميات. وإيجاد نظام واضحومستقر وعادل للحوافز والمكافآت وتوفير ظروف مادية مناسبة ، ومحاربة الواسطة واعتماد الشفافية فيالتوظيف.


The theory of the vibrations of the pianoforte string put forward by Kaufmann in a well-known paper has figured prominently in recent discussions on the acoustics of this instrument. It proceeds on lines radically different from those adopted by Helmholtz in his classical treatment of the subject. While recognising that the elasticity of the pianoforte hammer is not a negligible factor, Kaufmann set out to simplify the mathematical analysis by ignoring its effect altogether, and treating the hammer as a particle possessing only inertia without spring. The motion of the string following the impact of the hammer is found from the initial conditions and from the functional solutions of the equation of wave-propagation on the string. On this basis he gave a rigorous treatment of two cases: (1) a particle impinging on a stretched string of infinite length, and (2) a particle impinging on the centre of a finite string, neither of which cases is of much interest from an acoustical point of view. The case of practical importance treated by him is that in which a particle impinges on the string near one end. For this case, he gave only an approximate theory from which the duration of contact, the motion of the point struck, and the form of the vibration-curves for various points of the string could be found. There can be no doubt of the importance of Kaufmann’s work, and it naturally becomes necessary to extend and revise his theory in various directions. In several respects, the theory awaits fuller development, especially as regards the harmonic analysis of the modes of vibration set up by impact, and the detailed discussion of the influence of the elasticity of the hammer and of varying velocities of impact. Apart from these points, the question arises whether the approximate method used by Kaufmann is sufficiently accurate for practical purposes, and whether it may be regarded as applicable when, as in the pianoforte, the point struck is distant one-eighth or one-ninth of the length of the string from one end. Kaufmann’s treatment is practically based on the assumption that the part of the string between the end and the point struck remains straight as long as the hammer and string remain in contact. Primâ facie , it is clear that this assumption would introduce error when the part of the string under reference is an appreciable fraction of the whole. For the effect of the impact would obviously be to excite the vibrations of this portion of the string, which continue so long as the hammer is in contact, and would also influence the mode of vibration of the string as a whole when the hammer loses contact. A mathematical theory which is not subject to this error, and which is applicable for any position of the striking point, thus seems called for.

The flipped classroom, as an active learning model, has given remarkable results in several areas in the university teaching; however, its execution is still able to improve. This research shows the implementation and improvement of the flipped classroom model in the course of Pavements. It evaluates their influence on the students’ final grades and their learning experience. Three groups of students participated in this study, who enrolled in the course of Pavements in the Civil Engineering. Group A took the course with the traditional model, while Group B took it with a flipped classroom, and Group C experienced it with a reinforced flipped model. Groups did the course the subject in 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively. Results show that even though with the flipped classroom models, the finals grades did not increase compared to the scores of the traditional model; however, it improved their learning experience. The students were more satisfied with the method; they even asked for fewer modifications than they did in the traditional model. This research shows that adding little academic things to the course, it would greatly influence their students' opinion.

The parameters developed in organic farming are the use of vegetable pesticides and compost and liquid organic fertilizer. Some research has been done but it needs deeper research to get the right product. The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibitory activity of Piper caninum extract against the fungus Pyricuaria oryzae causing blast disease in rice, and to find out how much the impact of compost on increased crop yield after being combined with the extract. This research is a field research located in the village of Senganan, Penebel Tabanan Bali. With the following treatment Fo = control (100% soil). F1 = (soil 90% + compost 10% + extract 0.5%). F2 = (soil 80% + compost 20% + extract 1%) F3 = (soil 70% + 30% + extract 1.5%). F4 = (soil 60% + compost 40% + 2% extract), do repeat 4 times. The results showed that P. caninum extract effectively inhibited blast disease and could reduce the intensity of blast disease. The combination with compost can significantly increase yields (67.62%), reduce empty grains, and increase rice size.

Abstract Transparency and corruption are topics with high interest not only for researchers but especially for politicians, citizens and decision takers. Transparency is seen as an important instrument in the fight against corruption. Transparency and corruption phenomena are considered to be the most difficult to assess due to the subjectivity that characterizes them. For this reason, in this study we will show some results based on citizens perception. The method used to collect information regarding citizens perception is questionnaire and than the data are analyzed through a logistic model. Interesting results came out this research such as people who have been in contact with public institutions during the last months have 5,477 times more opportunities to give bribes compared to those who have not been in contact. Transparency is considered a good tool to fight corruption because based on the model result people who know the meaning of the right to information have 86.3% less chance to give bribes than people who do not know the meaning of the right of information. Whereas people who know the Albanian law on the right to information have 48% less chance of bribing than people who do not know this law. Based on these results it is necessary to raise citizen awareness on the use of the right to information as instrument to fight corruption.

Islam in Nigeria is the product of A. R. I. Doi's twenty years of research on the spread and development of Islam in Nigeria. Professor Doi, currently the director of the Centre for Islamic Legal Studies at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, has also taught at the University of Nigeria at Nsukka and the University of lfe. His lengthy tenure in the different major geographical zones of Nigeria is reflected in the book. The twenty-one chapters begin with a general introductory overview of the spread of Islam in West Africa. Part I is devoted to the impact of Islam in the Northern States of Nigeria, Part II deals with the more recent spread of Islam into the Southern Nigerian States and Part III explicates a wide variety of issues germane to the understanding of Islam at the national level. The book is comprehensive, thoroughly researched, and is based on analyses of secondary sources as well as primary field research conducted in all parts of Nigeria. The book has nine maps, seventy-three photographs, detailed notes at the end of each chapter, a bibliography and an index. Professor Doi traces the spread of Islam through North Africa into the Ancient Empires of Ghana, Mali and Songhai. As Islam moved into the Northern part of Nigeria, it had a dramatic impact on the seven Hausa states and on the Fulani peoples who carried out the jihad under Shehu Utham Dan Fodio and the Fulani Sultans of Sokoto. A link was established between the Umawz Arabs and the Kanem-Bornu State. Islam also influenced the Nupe and Ebirra peoples. With the arrival of the Royal Niger Company, British Imperialism and Christian missions began to move into Northern Nigeria about 1302 AH/1885 AC. The impact of colonialism and Christianity upon Islam in Northern Nigeria is analyzed by Dr. Doi. Of particular interest is the analysis of syncretism between Islam and the indigenous cultures and religions of Northern Nigeria. The Boori Cult and the belief in al-Jinni are described. The life cycle of the Hausa-Fulani Muslims includes descriptions of the ceremonies conducted at childbirth, the naming of a new child, engagement, marriage, divorce, and death. Nowadays in vitro fertilisation raises relevant controversies at the point of view of jurisprudence as well. The distinct approximations of in vitro embryos, such as to be considered as personae or objects, are also resources of several theoretical and pragmatical questions. It is essential to give a compendious summary about what kind of jurisprudental environment had been contributed to the intrumental comprehension of human embryos too, otherwise it is difficult to understand the scientific quandaries connected to the subject correctly. Merely thereafter the international and the Hungarian regulation of in vitro embryo’s status seems to able to be dissected, in particular the case-law of the Hungarian Constitutional Court related to the right to life and the constitutional funds of the oncurrent re-regulation in our country.

Nafkah merupakan salah satu daripada hak isteri yang perlu ditunaikan. Hukum ini telah termaktub di dalam Al-Quran dan sebagaimana yang diketahui oleh semua muslim, salah satu kewajiban seorang suami itu adalah menyediakan nafkah buat isterinya baik dalam  tempoh  perkawinan  maupun  pasca perceraian.  Namun,  mutakhir  ini,  banyak kasus yang melibatkan perilaku suami yang mengabaikan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Bahagian Sokongan Keluarga (BSK) merupakan pihak berwenang yang mampu mengatasi dengan sebaik mungkin segala permasalahan berkaitan dengan pemberian nafkah. BSK memberi peluang kepada mantan isteri untuk membuat tuntutan nafkah jika suami gagal atau enggan membayar nafkah sekaligus mengembalikan hak isteri. Pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam permasalahan ini adalah bagaimana peran BSK dalam menjamin terpenuhinya  nafkah isteri pasca perceraian dan bagaimana efektifitasnya (BSK) terhadap masalah penegakan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang peran (BSK) dalam masalah pemenuhan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah yuridis empiris yaitu kajian lapangan (field research) dan yuridis normatif yaitu kajian kepustakaan (library research). Adapun Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis dalam skripsi ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan telaah dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, bahwa peran BSK dalam masalah pemenuhan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian berjalan secara efektif karena BSK memantau dan menangani masalah ketidakpatuhan mantan suami terhadap perintah nafkah Mahkamah Syariah melalui pembentukan Unit Khidmat Nasehat dan Perundangan, Unit Penguatkuasaan dan Pelaksanaan Perintah dan Unit Pengurusan Dana. Keberadaan BSK telah menjadi tempat rujukan dan   memberikan bantuan kepada mantan isteri. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat difahami bahwa pokok permasalahan dalam penyelesaian masalah pengabaian nafkah apabila mantan suami memahami  hal  berkaitan  agama  Islam  serta  mengetahui  hak  dan  tanggung  jawab terhadap isteri pasca perceraian.Kata Kunci: Bahagian Sokongan Keluarga (BSK) dan Nafkah Isteri Pasca Penceraian Living in one of the rights of wives that need to be shown. This law has been contained in the Koran and as it is known by all Muslims, one of the obligations of a husband is to provide a living for his wife both in the period of marriage or post-divorce. However, these cutting-edge, many cases involve the behavior of husbands who neglect the living wives post-divorce. The Family Support Division (BSK) is the authority who can cope with the best possible problems relating to the provision of the living. BSK allows the former wife to make a living claim if the husband fails or refuses to pay the living while returning the right of the wife. The question posed in this issue was the role of BSK in guaranteeing the fulfillment of the postpartum wife and how effectiveness (BSK) has been to the problem of establishing a divorce post. The study aims to find out about the role (BSK) in the issue of fulfilling wives after divorce. The research in this thesis was empirical, i.e. field research and normative juridical (library research) study. The methods of data collection used by the authors in this thesis are observations, interviews and documentation study. The results of the research obtained, that the role of BSK in the problem of fulfillment of wives post-divorce runs effectively because BSK monitors and addresses the problem of non-compliance of ex-husband against the order of Sharia court The establishment of the Advisory and Legal Unit, enforcement Unit and the execution of the Order and fund Management unit. The existence of BSK has been a referral place and provides relief to the former wife. Based on this, it can be understood that the subject matter in solving the issue of living if the former husband understands the matter related to Islam and knows the rights and responsibilities of the post-divorce wife.
