The things to be achieved in this study are to find out whether there is an increase in students' creative writing skills and to find out whether students can be more active in the learning process activities. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, each cycle carried out in 3 meetings, with stages of Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students of MI Datok Sulaiman Palopo, which numbered 35 students. The results showed that: with the implementation of the Group Investigation model can improve learning outcomes and activate students in the learning process, each cycle experienced an increase. Based on the test of learning outcomes of students in the fifth grade of MI Datok Sulaiman Palopo, two cycles showed that student learning outcomes from the first cycle were 53.71 while the second cycle was 81.57 and had fulfilled the KKM value of 70

Students are accustomed to memorizing facts, principles, formulas, laws and problems given by the teacher, thus understanding the concept tends to be low. Description of daily test value obtained from 25 students that is, the average value of 54.80 with the percentage of the value reached 48% only KKM. From the description above we need the new treatments to improve student achievement and learning activities. In order to improve learning outcomes, it can be improved through demonstration methods and media in the form of real objects that exist around, so that students no longer have difficulty in understanding the material. Based on the above, then that becomes the problem in this study can be formulated as follows: 1) Do the media magnets, magnetic objects, cable and battery can improve student achievement at the fifth grade student in SD Negeri 08 Pinang sebatang Timur Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak about making magnets ? 2) Does the demonstration method can improve students' learning activities at the fifth grade students in SD Negeri 08 Pinang sebatang Timur Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak about making a magnet? The subject in this classroom action research is a fifth grade students of SDN 08 Pinang sebatang Timur Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak at the second semester in the academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 25 people, consisting of 9 men and 16 women with different levels of ability to understand the lesson. Classroom action research was carried out in SDN 08 Pinang sebatang Timur Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak. Researchers take this location or place with the consideration of working at the school concerned, making it easier in search of data, the opportunity of time wide and subject of the research that is in accordance with the profession researchers. Based on the results above we concluded that the application of methods of demonstration can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in SDN 08 Pinang sebatang Timur Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak in second semester of 2014/2015.

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Limbanang Elementary School 05 through the application of role playing methods with Cooperative Learning models in learning the maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. The problem in this study was the low learning outcomes of students in this topic. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (classroom action research) conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Each cycle was held two meetings. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of Limbanang 05 Elementary School with 22 students which was consisting of 8 male students and 14 female students. In the first cycle of the first meeting of 22 students who took formative tests, there were still many students who were incomplete and meeting II there were 7 students (31.8%) that were not completed, this showed that the use of the experimental method had not been successful so reflection needed to be followed up. in cycle II. The implementation of learning in the second cycle of the teacher is more active in guiding and directing students in conducting experiments. Formative test results of cycle II meeting I were 22 students (100%) successfully completed. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the use of experimental methods can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Limbanang Elementary School 05, Suliki District in PKN subjects.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of observing learning activities assisted by concrete media in a scientific approach toward the conceptual knowledge of the fifth grade students. This study was a quasi-experiment with a post-test only control group design. The population of this study was all students of the fifth grade of Public Elementary School (SDN)  4 Cempaga and Public Elementary School (SDN) 4 Kawan. The samples were taken by purposive sampling. Conceptual knowledge data were collected by using multiple choice tests. The obtained data were analyzed by using a t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it was obtained tcount = 11. 36 while the ttable value was 2. 021. Based on tcount = 11. 36> ttable = 2. 021 then H0 was rejected. The results of the analysis prove that there are significant differences between a group of students who are taught by observing learning activities assisted by concrete media and a group of students who are taught by conventional learning. In addition, the average value of the experimental group learning outcomes is X̅ = 22. 30 which is higher than the average learning outcomes of the control group X̅ = 18. 40. From the results of the t-test analysis and the average learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the observing learning activities assisted by concrete media influence the conceptual knowledge of the fifth grade students. Therefore, observing learning activities assisted by concrete media are suitable to be applied to overcome the low conceptual knowledge of students. This finding will have implications, namely, to improve conceptual knowledge can be done by observing activities assisted by concrete media so the learning activities will be more meaningful and interesting.

The type of research used by researchers is Class Action Research (PTK) with research subjects of all fifth-grade students in Palangka Elementary School-3 totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests. Data analysis using qualitative, quantitative data analysis and Mixed Methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Activity of fifth grade students of Palangka Elementary School-3 in the 2016/2017 school year in science learning after applying the Word Square learning model Assisted by the Flip Sheet Media Board to be very good, because students are active, enthusiastic, listen to explanations teacher and enthusiastic in following the learning process. The results of the observations of teacher activities on teaching and learning activities carried out by observer I and observer II during the learning process of science in the first cycle average aspects of teacher activity 3.9 in the outstanding category and the universal element of students is 3.67 in the group very good. (2) There is an increase in science learning outcomes by applying the Word Square learning model Assisted Media Flip Sheet Board in class V science subjects at Palangka Elementary School-3 in the academic year 2016/2017. This is indicated by the learning outcomes seen through the class average in the first cycle which is equal to 84.22 and the completeness percentage of students in classical is 100%, from the predetermined provisions namely for KKM of 65 and completeness criteria in traditional 85%. With this, it can be concluded that there is an increase in science learning outcomes after applying the Word Square learning model assisted by the Flip Sheet Media Board.
