Presently 21st century is the world of Internet, broadband, satellite TV, mobile phone etc fueled by upcoming 5G (5th Generation) networks. We cannot live one day without internet. More than 70% of us access the Internet on a daily basis which clearly shows the huge potential of this global system of interconnected network and how people around the world get easily addicted to it. Large E- Business and E- Marketing are the outcome of the Internet invasion in human life. But do we really care or think what effect the Internet has on our environment? The reality says in coming years with massive population around 2.5 billion people will be connected to the Internet worldwide, making Internet's energy and carbon footprint will surpass air travel. Hence Internet does not look as green as thought but responsible for Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Cloud Storage, use of various search engines and Emails. This article highlights some adverse effect of Internet on planet Earth and environment as well. Some possible remedies are also discussed for cut in our possible online carbon footprint.

At present there is more than half of the world population who is currently using the Internet, due to which it seems relevant to develop not only technical, but also humanitarian and metaphysical views and theories that can serve the basis for the analysis of this phenomenon. The aim of these areas of studies should be rethinking of the role and place of man in the structure of modern society, as well as the role and place of the society in human life. The methodology for these processes comprehension lies in the plane of ontology, social philosophy and anthropology, based on the integration of the latter with cybernetics and mathematics, synergetics and mathematical modeling. Systemic and historical methods are inevitably capable of synthesizing the results of such a methodological approach, leading to the appearance of neologisms, the explication of new notions that most adequately reflect the essence of modern processes. The article illustrates a number of phenomena that should be studied with the aim of forming a person not as an object, but as a subject of global digital communication.

There was a time, not too many years ago, when word processing was the most popular computer activity among students. For most students, the computer was little more than a high-powered typewriter. Today, a PC can be a window into the global system of interconnected networks known as the Internet…. The World Wide Web makes the Internet accessible to people all over the planet. The Web is a huge portion of the Internet that includes a wealth of multimedia content accessible through simple point-and-click programs called Web browsers. Web browsers on PCs and other devices serve as windows into the Web’s richly diverse information space. (Beekman, 2005, pp. 16-17)

The concept of creative cities is one of the historically ancient terms that evolve over time, as these cities played an important role as colonies of human civilization. The transformation of the world into a small village as a result of globalization has contributed to the ease of creative migration and human communication at all levels, whether through the internet, ease of travel, or ease of transporting goods. Technology has been the basis of the fourth industrial revolution and informational openness through the internet and then artificial intelligence. Actually, these elements developed the classic concept of creative cities, their economics, and their ability to face future challenges in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. 2030 SDGs have been launched by the United Nations with the aim of protecting human life and saving the planet through development which is achieved on three axes (economic, social, and environmental) due to the inability of the classical economy to achieve these goals in the formation of a new world order.

The internet is one part that can not be released in human life today. Every year internet users both in Indonesia and in the world have increased. This increase in internet users causes the availability of IP to decrease. That is because users who will use the internet must have an IP. The availability of IPv4 is currently decreasing. To overcome these problems, IPv6 was made which was announced to replace the existence of IPv4. But another solution that can be taken is using subnetting. With subnetting, IP can be used optimally according to the needs of the host or can make efficient use of IP. And subnetting also functions to avoid congestion resulting from too many hosts on the physical network. And to connect between subnets, routing will be done.

As a scholar of North Africa and the Middle East, I get very excited about the possibilities internet technologies open up for me and other scholars who are concerned with regions of the globe outside our national borders. The internet brings a wealth of information to my computer on a daily basis. It is true that in the early years of its development the overwhelming majority of content on the internet was American and in English, but as the rest of the world has come online in greater numbers, the internet has increasingly allowed us to transcend international borders. To cite just one example, for decades English was overwhelmingly the language of the internet. While English remains the most common language on the web, it is no longer the majority language. For several years now, there has been more non-English content on the internet than content in English. I can now read newspapers and listen to news broadcasts from North Africa at the click of a mouse button. I can even communicate easily with colleagues overseas via email, chat or, increasingly, voice over IP at very little cost.

In the era of globalization, the whole world has turned into a small village. It is safe to say that the reason for the change in the world and its transformation into an information society was Internet resources. Through the Internet, you can find out in seconds what is happening anywhere in the world. Thus, the Internet has become an integral part of a person's daily life. Today, people denied access to the Internet feel like hermits in the desert. This proves the fact that society has become informational and virtual. The Internet has become a real force, not only informing but also virtualizing society. Most of the offline services that were before the advent of the Internet are now available online. For example, education has become available remotely via the Internet. Purchases are also made through online stores. Money transfers have been made online since the advent of the Internet. Thus, the vast majority of services that are demanded to meet human needs have become virtualized. One of the inherent values of human nature is faith. More than 84% of the seven billion people living on Earth are of one religion or another. According to statistics for 2019, 57% of the world's population, or more than four billion people, use the Internet. In an era when all areas closely related to human life are virtualized, religious relations did not remain distant from these changes. The Internet has proven to be effective in spreading religion. The preaching work is done exclusively over the Internet, through websites. The reason for this is efficiency in terms of saving time and money. So, for example, if you want to listen to a preacher, you do not have to meet with him tet-a-tet, you just need to make an agreement and simultaneously connect to the Internet. Besides, you can register, listen to, and view the sermons of the desired preacher on their website. The necessity of traveling to a specific country or place for religious education has decreased with Internet development. The possibility of acquiring knowledge and getting an education at a religious university through distance learning are available nowadays. The Internet has removed many barriers and boundaries in time and space, raised human life to a new level, and opened up many opportunities. The sites have become a mirror of any religious organization. An organization that does not have its own website in the information society is like an organization without an address or specific location. Today's consumers will mostly recognize any organization through their personal website. Religious organizations, adherents of any religion, or a person who wants to embrace a new faith can easily access the information through the website. For all of the above, it is crucial to provide religious information through the website under technical and theological norms.

The internet, which started to enter our lives with the last quarter of the 20th century, is being used more and more widely every day due to the facilitating effect of technological innovations on human life. Especially in the last 20 years, people have moved their social lives to the internet due to the fast and practical access to information, the diversity of opportunities it offers, the freedom to meet people from different parts of the world, and similar conveniences. In this new process, which is called the information society, there are many areas from social life to economy, from politics to health. However, this structure, which facilitates human life, has also brought with it negativities that can cause serious problems in interpersonal relations. All these negativities, which have a legal dimension, are described as the concept of “digital violence.”

Aviation is different from other energy-using activities. Currently it makes about 2% of the global CO2 emission but it is rising fast. This will negatively affecting on the environment and urges us to pay more attention to the risks of travelling on environment The principal aviation emissions include the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor (H2O), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur oxides (SOx), and soot. The emissions affect the climate through various mechanisms. CO2 has a long atmospheric residence time of about 100 years. It is well mixed throughout the atmosphere and affects the global climate as a green house gas. Aircraft engines represent an increasing and potent source of greenhouse gas emissions, due in part to the unprecedented growth in air travel. This study highlights for the first time the importance and carbon footprint of Royal Jordanian Airlines aircraft fuel in producing CO₂ airborne emissions as well as emissions generated during the flight due to the use of wide variety of products and equipment.
