This article considers the main types of global environmental problems as crisis ecological situations that are relevant for the entire planet, the solution of which is possible only with the participation of all humanity. Global environmental problems closely related to other global world problems, they affect each other and the emergence of some leads to the emergence or aggravation of others. The paper is concerned that such a complex world problem as the demographic caused by the explosive growth of the world's population leads to a sharp increase in the burden on the environment due to an increase in people's needs for food, energy, housing, industrial goods, etc. Obviously, without solving the demographic problem, without stabilizing the population, it is impossible to restrain the development of crisis ecological processes on the planet. In turn, the ecological problems of desertification, deforestation, causing degradation and loss of agricultural land, lead to an aggravation of the world food problem. The ecological danger of such global problem as military is great. In this article, we have determined that environmental degradation leads to significant economic costs as a result of degradation of natural resources, pollution, deterioration of public health.

This paper is devoted to the unique water body, Lake Baikal, the largest freshwater reservoir by volume in the world that was included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is regulated by the federal law of its protection. The global role of Baikal as a strategic reserve of water resources of the highest class is increasing in importance. Furthermore, Lake Baikal and its surroundings are invariably the focus of ecological problems. The most challenging issues are the lake’s water pollution leading to changes in hydrobiocenoses, soil and vegetation digression in areas of increased recreational load, forest fires causing a decrease of the number of rare species of flora and fauna, etc. Imperfection of the legal framework, the lack of a unified managerial center and the attempts to deal with the problems solely at the federal level involve a number of incompetent decisions on the lake level regulation and on the setting of its water-protection zone. The conflicts of the interests of the subjects of the federal and regional levels in issues related to use and the protection of natural resources present serious obstacles to the development of a unified, ecologically oriented strategy of economic development of the territory. For a successful solution of the current challenges it is necessary to recognize the ecological problems of Lake Baikal as the priority concerns throughout the country, optimize management of the socio-economic development of the Baikal natural territory on the basis of nature-conservation principles by ensuring appropriate funding, develop a unified scheme of comprehensive monitoring of the ecological and sanitary-hygienic status of Lake Baikal and its protection zone, improve the system of scientific research on the Baikal natural territory, introduction ubiquitous ecological training and education of the population, organize the waste and effluent treatment system in accordance with the latest international technologies, etc.

AbstractDicofol is an organochlorine insecticide widely used to prevent pests worldwide. Consequently, serious environmental problems have arisen from the application of dicofol. Bioremediation is an effective solution for dicofol persistence in the environment. In this study, a bacterial strain D-2, identified to genus Microbacterium, capable of degrading dicofol was isolated from dicofol-contaminated agricultural soil. This represents the first dicofol degrading bacterium isolated from this genus. Microbacterium sp. D-2 degraded 50 mg/L dicofol within 24 h at a rate of 85.1%. Dicofol was dechlorinated by D-2 and the further degradation metabolite was indentified as p,p′-dichlorobenzophenone(DCBP). Soils inoculated with Microbacterium sp. D-2 degraded 81.9% of the dicofol, while soils without D-2 only degraded 20.5% of the dicofol present. This finding suggests that strain D-2 has great potential in bioremediation of dicofol-contaminated soils.

The disaster is not only a mere natural occurrence, but also due to the lack  of awareness and understanding of one's environmental problems. This paper will review the ecological values contained in the Qur'an. In fact, the Qur'an has given a stern warning of not doing mischief on earth. In this regard, within the certain limits, the query is how religion (Islam) providing ecological value to the whole community through the Koran? Applying semantic-hermeneutical approach, the research results the concept that has been introduced by the Qur'an with various forms and models of word. Withsome verses that describe the ecological problems, the formulation can be used as 'green religion', namely religion that requires people to practice Islam stressing the integral relationship between faith and the environment (all natural). Moral-ethical action is not only related to human relations, but also with nature.

Liaoning seas have been facing severe environmental problems. To solve the marine ecological problems effectively, the marine ecological compensational mechanism of these areas should be established and improved gradually. By reference the successful stories of ecological compensation mechanism applied in other areas and the study of the basic ideas and focal point of the ecological compensation mechanism, we finally work out the suitable ecological compensation mechanism with fluidity, complexity and universality.
