This study investigated the perception of science and technology undergraduate students on the relevancy of entrepreneurial Studies in south west Nigeria Universities. Two research questions and three null hypotheses were formulated and tested to guide the study at 0.05 Significance level. This study employed descriptive research design of a survey type and multistage sampling technique to get a sample of 400 science and technology related undergraduates in Federal and State Universities. A self-designed questionnaire titled; Relevance of Entrepreneurship Study Questionnaire (RESQ) was developed for data collection. Content and face validity of the instrument was determined by three experts while the reliability of the instrument was determined through test-retest method using Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Analysis. The reliability coefficient of 0.83 was obtained. Mean, percentages and bar charts were used to analyse the research questions while ANOVA and t-test statistics were used to test the hypothesis. The result shows that majority of respondents perceived entrepreneurship study as relevant to their university education. Significant difference did not also exist in the perception of respondents based on course of study. There was also no significant difference in the perceptions of undergraduate students based on Level and University Status. Based on the findings, it was recommended that University authorities should intensify efforts in promoting entrepreneurship development by embarking on mass capacity building. Government should engage in strengthening universities-private sector collaboration with attention to science and technology related disciplines to facilitate entrepreneurship development in areas such as agriculture, medicine, engineering, solid minerals exploitation, fabrication of scientific equipment and production of reagent.

The purpose of this research is to provide some insights into financial literacy among undergraduate students focusing primarily on the relationship between financial knowledge, financial attitudes and financial behavior and on possible gender and financial education gap in financial literacy. Using the purposive sampling technique, data collection was carried out from April to June 2020, yielding a sample of 1,046 valid responses. To gain a better understanding of the relationship between financial behaviour, financial attitudes and financial knowledge, we, primarily, use exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression model. The research findings have revealed several important issues. First, findings have suggested that financial knowledge, financial attitudes and gender may be considered as an antecedent of the financial behaviour of undergraduate students. Second, findings have also suggested a statistically - significant difference between the financial literacy of undergraduate students concerning their exposure to formal financial education.

The present study aimed to explore and evaluate employee’s capability maturity level and propose a solution to enhance it at Iran’s Oil Company. It was conducted through descriptive-field and cross-sectional method. The statistical population included 269 employees who were selected through simple random sampling and the sample size was estimated using Cochran formula. Curtis standard questionnaire was employed for data collection. Face validity and content validity of the questionnaire were confirmed by several experts including the management professors and managers of the mentioned company. Reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha coefficient which was equal to 0.89. Having analyzed the research questions, the findings revealed that maturity level of employees is totally weak from the third level onward. Therefore, maturity of employees is at the second level of maturity model, i.e. this company has defined and executed its primary and repeatable processes. Likewise, one-sample t-test for each level showed that status of dimensions in the second level was more than the average level (mean was equal to 3.54 and the significance level was less than 0.05) and it was less than the desirable level in other levels (2.69, 2.61, and 2.59 respectively).

An exposure to free choice of inspiring reading materials among Thai students has not been largely promoted in English language class, affecting negative language learning attitudes and development of a reading habit. This present study examined the effects of extensive reading (ER) on Thai university students. To measure their attitudes towards comfort, anxiety, intellectual value, practical value and linguistic value before and after 15-week extensive reading. 68 undergraduate students were asked to complete the 5-point Likert scale questionnaire of 23 items adopted from Yamashita (2013). A semi-structure interview was also employed. The results revealed students had positive feelings in which ER increased their comfort and decreased their anxiety at the significance level of 0.05. They also had positive beliefs about the intellectual benefits. However, the practical value that ER might bring advantages to students’ study or future career was lower in the posttest. There was no significant difference between the pretest and posttest in their beliefs about English language study benefits. Qualitative data from the semi-structured interviews showed that students satisfied with their own choice of reading preference. The findings suggested the use of ER approach in English as a foreign language (EFL) classes to increase students’ positive attitudes, decrease their negative ones towards reading, and develop good reading habits through their reading engagement.
