Fundamental factor analysis is important to determine the company's performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leverage on profitability & stock prices through Asset Growth. The population of 664 issuers used 300 purposive samples covering all sectors on the 2011-2019 BEI. The research method uses SEM-Smart PLS path analysis. The results in group I (DAR <50%) DAR had a positive effect on AG; negative to ROA; and does not affect ROE; Meanwhile, AG affects ROE&PBV. The result of an indirect relationship AG mediates DAR to RS through ROE, but AG does not mediate DAR to RS through PBV. Shows an increase in debt increases asset growth and dividends, and if the increase in asset growth without increasing debt will increase dividends and stock prices. The results in group II (DAR>50%) DAR had a negative effect on AG&ROA, but did not affect ROE. While AG affects PBV, but does not affect ROE. The result of an indirect relationship AG mediates DAR to RS through PBV, but AG does not mediate DAR to RS through ROE. It shows that an increase in debt will reduce asset growth but will not affect dividends and vice versa, while an increase in asset growth will increase stock prices. This finding proves that the optimal capital structure is effective in improving company performance on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Companies that have low debt and experience asset growth tend to produce high profitability and their share prices increase

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of business risk, asset growth, sales growth, earning per share, and asset structure to capital structure and share price. This study involved mining and agriculture companies listed on IDX within the period of 2010-2017. The analysis employed eViews 9. Based on the hypothesis testing, it was found that that business risk, sales growth, and asset structure do not have a significant effect on capital structure. However, asset growth has a significant influence. Furthermore, sales growth and EPS do not have a significant effect on share price, but the asset structure has a significant influence. This research is a development of previous research by adding earnings per share as an independent variable and covering the period 2010 - 2017 in order to show the most actual conditions. Company management can make the results of this study a consideration in determining the optimal capital structure.   This study only examined the mining and agricultural sectors on the Indonesian stock exchange.

The rapid development of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) currently cannot shift the role of investors conducting transactions on the IDX, through the capital market which is a liaison between investors (those who have funds) and companies (those who need long-term funds). Financial ratio analysis can help business people, governments and financial users for the company's financial needs. Types of financial ratios that are often used in a company's financial valuation are liquidity ratios, activity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios, and market ratios. Profitability, liquidity, solvency, activities and markets do not have a positive influence on the company's stock price. Liquidity, solvency, activities and markets do not have a significant effect on stock prices. Profitability has a significant influence on stock prices. Food and beverage industry subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) need to increase share prices. Improve and focus company performance on strategies that can be used in managing finances before specifically for liquidity, solvency, activity and market performance. Keywords :  financial performance, profitability, liquidity, solvency, activities, markets, stock prices

Assorted types of market anomalies occur when stock prices deviate from the prediction of classical asset pricing theories. This study aims to examine asset growth anomaly where stocks with high asset growth will be followed by low returns in the subsequent periods. This study, using Indonesia Stock Exchanges data, finds that an equally-weighted low-growth portfolio outperforms high-growth portfolio by average 0.75% per month (9% per annum), confirming existence of asset growth anomaly. The analysis is extended at individual stock-level using fixed-effect panel regression in which asset growth effect remains significant even with controlling other variables of stock return determinants. This study also explores further whether asset growth can be included as risk factor. Employing two-stage cross-section regression in Fama and Macbeth (1973), the result aligns with some prior studies that asset growth is not a new risk factor; instead the anomaly is driven by mispricing due to investors’ overreaction and psychological bias. This result imply that asset growth anomaly is general phenomenon that can be found at mostly all stock market but in Indonesia market asset growth anomaly rise from investors’ overreaction, instead of  playing as a factor of risk.

The multiple linear regression method was used for data analysis. Results – The results indicated that environmental performance has a significant positive effect while environmental disclosure has a significant negative effect on economic performance. The testing of corporate action as a moderating variable demonstrated that it could not strengthen the effect of environmental performance on economic performance. However, it could enhance the effect of environmental disclosure on economic performance.

The aim of this paper is not only to determine and compare the nature of capital structure but also its effect on company performance of engineering industry of USA and Bangladesh. We utilize a panel data methodology based on a sample of 34 listed engineering companies of Bangladesh on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and a mixture of 34 (small, medium and large) engineering companies listed in NASDAQ in USA during the period of study from 2012 to 2019. Our empirical results indicate that the capital structure of engineering industry of USA and that of Bangladesh is different. Also, we demonstrate that capital structure has negative effect on company profitability of engineering industry of USA. Capital structure presents a negative effect on Earning per Share and Return on Assets (ROA) and positive influence on Return on Equity (ROE) and Tobin’s Q of engineering industry of Bangladesh. We conclude that the impact of capital structure on company’s profitability by only one sector and then compare the findings to know the real picture of the link. Investors, auditors, analysts and practitioners should consider many factors to examine the banking performance. Our results from this study may relate to Asian countries with similarities in engineering industry to that in Bangladesh.
