The samples used were 6 companies from 17 populations in 2012-2017 in the selection of samples conducted by purposive sampling. The statistical method used is panel data path analysis. The results showed that Total Asset Turnover (TATO) directly had a significant negative effect on Stock Prices. Likewise, the Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) directly has a significant positive effect on stock prices. While indirectly the Total Asset Turnover (TATO) mediated by Profitability affects the Stock Price. This study examines the effect of financial ratios on Food and Beverage stock prices (F&B). The study uses a sample of Food and Beverage firms listed on the IDX period 2017-2019. By the 31 companies as the population, we decided the sample just 14 F&B companies; the study's total sample was 42 financial statements and annual reports with the purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing was used in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. This study indicates that Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant positive effect on stock prices. In contrast, Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) partially has no significant effect on stock prices. Therefore, first, the company should pay attention to the level of the company's liability. The ratios related to the comparison with debt tend to be at a safe point from financial distress to increase the company's share price, especially in the food and beverage sub-sector. Secondly, for investors to invest in companies, especially the food and beverage sector, they need to pay attention to Return on Equity (ROE) because it significantly affects its stock price with this ratio.

This study focuses on examining the relationship between stock prices and earnings surprises in quoted companies of Nigeria. This study applied a longitudinal research design which studies the effect of earnings surprises on stock prices using panel data. A sample of 64 companies was chosen to study in all sectors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The research data were obtained from secondary sources of the annual reports for the selected companies covering the period from 2013 to 2017. The measurement for earnings surprises used in the study is the residual or unexplained component of earnings persistence model commonly referred to as first-order autoregressive AR (1) regression of reported earnings. Were, the data analysis was carried out by regression using the generalised least squares technique. The regression results for positive earnings surprise shows that share prices react negatively to positive surprises with a coefficient of (-2.4109) in tandem with the return news hypothesis which suggests that positive earnings news results in a negative stock-price reaction. The negative earnings surprise results show that stock prices react positively to negative earnings surprises with a positive coefficient of (0.1136). This is in line with the premise of return news, which indicates that negative earnings news leads to a positive reaction to the share price. The study recommends that there is a need to regulate the stock market to improve the level of market efficiency in stock markets. This will improve the rate at which earnings news will be reserved at stock prices. Secondly, there is a need to improve investor confidence in the disclosed profits made by companies.

Astra Autopart, Tbk. companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015. The sampling technique in this study using a purposive sampling. With the technique of purposive  sampling, all the members of the research samples by criteria. Samples that meet the criteria are used research data. Then followed the classic assumption test and test hypotheses by linear regression. The results of this study demonstrate the regression results in regression equation that Y = 2605,424 + 1561,550 X1 + 2,338 X2 + 38,994X3. T test results showed that the leverage anda GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is positive and significant effect on stock prices, while inflation is not positive and significant effect on stock prices. The purpose of this study is to analyze the significance of the influence of inflation, ROE, DER, and EPS on stock prices. This research was conducted at Concern Goods Companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2017 period. The number of samples of this study were 31 companies. Data collection is done by the method of non-participant observation. Based on the results of the analysis found that inflation, ROE. DER, and EPS simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices. Partially Inflation and DER have no significant effect on stock prices, this indicates that investors do not see Inflation and DER as a decision to buy shares. While partially ROE and EPS have a significant positive effect on stock prices, this shows that investors pay attention to ROE and EPS in deciding to invest. The higher the ROE and EPS, the higher the investor's interest in investing in the company's capital, so that the share price will go up. Keywords: Inflation, ROE, DER, EPS, stock price

This study aims to examine the impact of financial ratios on the stock prices of companies listed on NIFTY Bank. Nifty Bank is a sub-index of NIFTY 50 and has various listed banks included based on the criteria given by NSE. This study data has been taken from the period 2010-2019 and taken from the company annual reports. The analysis is done using panel data regression and other tests to verify the best model for the dataset. The results obtained from this study show that the capital adequacy ratio and the dividend payout ratio do not impact the stock price. In contrast, earnings per share, net NPA ratio, and basic earnings per share, net profit margin, and net interest margin exhibited a relationship with the stock price. In the Indian context, there is less research available on this topic, and the idea chosen for the study is original. Along with this, the data collected for the study and the code used for analysis is original work. New investors can use the results of this study in the Indian stock market to analyze a stock and take proper investment decisions. Another practical usage of this study is that banking sector companies can improve their ratios to attract new investors.
