The aim of the present paper is to evaluate the Malaysian Toxicological Database (MyToxData), a newly developed system for toxicological data management. MyToxData is a local system for collection of case reporting and toxicity statistics as well as its database of chemical products and toxicity information. An online questionnaire using JotForm was distributed among healthcare professionals in Malaysian hospitals. The participants were asked to perform tasks on MyToxData system before rating their satisfaction experience. The questionnaire was adopted from previous literature and comprised 12 items, each having a five-point scale that ranged from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree. The collected data were then analysed using the SPSS software package. Based on the results, the satisfaction testing showed a high satisfaction score for the login at 95.7% and case registration and toxicological/poisoning case notification at 65.2%. The poisoning substance identification component received a 78.2% agreement on the usefulness with a very high acceptance of 91.3% on the treatment and clinical information retrieval made available on the system. One sample t-test found that all constructs for the satisfaction testing of MyToxData, namely, accuracy, content, ease of use, format and timeliness, were significant. The higher acceptance by healthcare professionals on the satisfaction testing of MyToxData has identified the effectiveness of the development and subsequent usage of a dedicated system for toxicological data management.

Objectives: The coronavirus pandemic has forced healthcare staff across all medical specialties to adapt new and different ways of working. A new approach has been set up in the Acute Referral Clinic (ARC) at Musgrove Park Hospital and a survey has been conducted to measure the impact of the new method on patient and healthcare professionals’ satisfaction with the new service. Methods: A telephone-based consultation was introduced in ARC at Musgrove Park Hospital in March 2020 and patients were instructed to fill out a questionnaire containing eight items using a Likert Scale 1 (‘very poor/disagree’) to 4 (‘very good/strongly agree’) plus two boxes for open positive and negative comments respectively. Likewise a questionnaire was designed in order to assess the healthcare professionals’ satisfaction using the new approach. Data collection took place over a two month period between the end of March 2020 and end of May 2020. The data underwent quality control and was analysed using descriptive statistics. Results: Patient responses illustrated high satisfaction scores with an overall rating of very good (89.4%). The healthcare professionals’ rating of the service was good (28.6% – ‘very good/strongly agree’, 57.1% – ‘good/agree’). The safety rating of the new approach was overall rated ‘very good’ with 90.4% and 71.4% of patients and healthcare professionals respectively. Conclusions: The telephone consultations introduced in the wake of COVID-19 are well accepted by both patients and doctors. There are some limitations of the approach, foremost being consultation time and clinic space but these do not outweigh the general benefit of this format amidst a pandemic setting.

Category: Other Introduction/Purpose: Introduction of a novel virtual scribe service is theorized to eliminate waste from clinic operations. The iScribes virtual scribe application is activated in clinic and records audio proceedings of patient encounters. Recordings are transmitted to a remotely located medical scribe who translates patient-physician discussions into comprehensive clinic notes per the physician’s preferences. We hypothesize that virtual scribe services result in accurate notes, simple integration and high satisfaction. Methods: A modified version of a previously validated survey on physician documentation quality and satisfaction was digitally distributed to 193 orthopaedic surgeons who were using the iScribes system. The survey consisted of 16 domains relating to implementation, ease-of-use, efficiency, integration with electronic medical records, information quality, overall satisfaction and comparison to prior documentation systems. Results: Of the 193 physicians surveyed, 94 responded (49%). The majority (85%) were in private practice with the remaining in private-academic hybrids (2%), university systems (5%) and hospital employment (7%). Prior documentation modes were standard dictation (80%), Dragon voice-recognition (14%) and self-written/typed notation (6%). The average practice duration was 15 years (range: 1-34 years), and the average time utilizing the virtual scribe service was 12 months (range: 1-48 months). Providers rated the following domains as “agree” or “strongly agree”: easy to use (96%), fast (92%), integrates with workflow (94%), acceptable security (90%), allows me to perform work well (95%), reliable (90%), information is complete/accurate (88%), satisfaction with technical support (92%), overall satisfaction (92%) and prefer iScribes over previous system (93%) (Figure 1). Conclusion: The iScribes virtual scribe service was associated with high physician satisfaction in all tested domains and was preferred over traditional documentation in the present cohort of orthopaedic surgeons. Prospective analysis of time, quality and cost metrics is warranted.

A learning media is very important to support a course to achieve the learning objective. This study deals with how are students’ perspectives on using Telegram Messenger that used as a learning media at English Study Program of Universitas Islam Riau. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. It was conducted at Universitas Islam Riau at Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No. 133 Pemberhentian Marpoyan, Pekanbaru-Riau from January until May 2017 with the samples were the fifth semester students at English Study Program. The research instrument in this research was a questionnaire that consists of 20 statements of (1) perceived usefulness (2) perceived ease to use (3) attitude toward using (4) actual system use. Further, to get the information related to four indicators in this research, the researcher employed likert scale, 5 was given for strongly agree (SA), 4   for agree (A), 3 for undecided (U), 2 for disagree (D), and 1 for strongly disagree (SD). The questionnaire used close-ended question in online questionnaire, asking the respondent to get students’ perspective on using Telegram Messenger by checking one check box in Survey Monkey. The students’ perspectives in perceived ease of use for strongly agree which was 35%, perceived usefulness for strongly agree was 22%, attitude toward usage for strongly agree was 30%, actual system use for strongly agree was 19%, actual system use for strongly agree was 19%. In other words, respondent positively responded.

BACKGROUND The US Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009, which was intended to stimulate the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems, has been amended to cover the behavioral health sector. Consequently, there is an increased need for research on the adoption of behavioral EHR systems by healthcare professionals. Various quantitative studies based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model and technology acceptance model have been conducted in the general medical sectors, but few studies have been conducted in the behavioral sector and they have all been interview-based qualitative studies. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the adoption and implementation of a behavioral EHR system for behavioral clinical professionals through a modified clinical adoption (CA) research model quantitative study. METHODS We modified the existing CA framework to be suitable for evaluating the adoption of the EHR system by behavioral clinical professionals. The existing CA framework did not present questionnaire items. Accordingly, we designed a questionnaire with items that fit into the dimensions of the CA framework and it was verified through the review of behavioral clinical professionals and a pre-survey. The full-scale survey was administered in 5 US behavioral hospitals. The data were analyzed using a structural equation analysis. Additionally, open-ended question responses were qualitatively analyzed. RESULTS We derived a total of 7 dimensions, excluding dimensions that were evaluated as inappropriate for behavioral clinical professionals to respond. In addition, for 2 dimensions, 2 sub-dimensions were classified. A total of 409 behavioral clinical experts from 5 hospitals were surveyed. The ease of use and organizational support significantly influenced the use of the behavioral EHR system. Although the results were not significant, information quality (path coefficient=1.19, P>.05) and service quality (path coefficient=.085, P>.05) tended to influence the ease of use of the system. And Ease of Use (path coefficient=.253, P<.05) and the Organization (path coefficient=.802, P<.05) influenced the use of the system. The qualitative results indicated that the greatest advantage of the adoption of the behavioral EHR system was the ability to search for information quickly, work efficiently, and access patient information even outside of the hospital through the mobile app, resulting in having more time with patients. Conversely, the greatest disadvantage was an overdependence on the EHR system. Many staff members voiced concerns that their work could be paralyzed when the system was unstable. CONCLUSIONS This study designed a model for evaluating behavioral EHR adoption and conducted a quantitative study to derive the factors associated with the successful introduction of an EHR system in a behavioral environment. Google classroom can work in unidirectional process as it can serve the teachers’ strategies and styles on one hand and students’ perception, understanding, and effective participation in different classroom skills on the other hand. The ac-ceptance of Google classroom is affected by different factors. Some of them are still not clearly specified and discussed in previous research; therefore, they need further investigation. Based on the previous assumption, this study is an attempt to examine the factors that affect the students’ acceptance of Google classroom at Al Buraimi University College (BUC) in Oman. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was adopted to formulate the hypotheses of the current study. The data was collected through an online questionnaire with 337 respondents. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) approach was used to assess both the measurement and structural models. The results of the study prove that both the perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) positively influence the behavioral intention, which in turn influence the actual usage of Google classrooms. This study helps the decision makers of the higher educational institutions to have a better understanding of the effectiveness of us-ing Google classroom by their students. It is assumed that it helps in measuring the level of students’ acceptance to the previously mentioned technology.

Abstract Background Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may be particularly vulnerable to the effects of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) on disease management and psychological status. This study explored psychological reactions to the Covid-19 emergency and IBD disease management in a sample of Italian patients. Methods An online questionnaire was designed to assess general concerns, psychological reaction, disease management, socio-demographics, and clinical information with validated scales and ad hoc items. A non-probabilistic purposive sample was selected, comprised patients with IBD who belonged to the Italian Association for patients with IBD (AMICI Onlus) completed the questionnaire in April 2020. Data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics, student’s T-test for independent groups, and one-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). Results One thousand fourteen eligible questionnaires were analyzed. Italian patients with IBD appeared to be very worried about the Covid-19 emergency (60.7%) and concerned about the risks of infection (59%). Half of the sample reported medium to high-perceived stress, and 74% had low-medium coping self-efficacy levels. One third was in a state of psychological arousal. Twenty-nine percent of patients had canceled hospital appointments for fear of contracting the virus. The majority of responders believed that belonging to the Italian Association for Patients with IBD - AMICI Onlus - is useful. Conclusions The results revealed that this sample of Italian patients with IBD lived with medium level of stress and with inadequate coping self-efficacy regarding disease management. Accordingly, Covid-19 may affect self-management behaviors. Therefore, national and regional associations for patients with IBD, should largely support these patients in this emergency.

The fear of vaccines has led to population rejection due to various reasons. Students have had their own inquiries towards the effectiveness of the vaccination, which leads to vaccination hesitancy. Vaccination hesitancy can affect students’ perception, hence, acceptance of e-learning platforms. Therefore, this research attempts to explore the post-acceptance of e-learning platforms based on a conceptual model that has various variables. Each variable contributes differently to the post-acceptance of the e-learning platform. The research investigates the moderating role of vaccination fear on the post-acceptance of e-learning platforms among students. Thus, the study aims at exploring students’ perceptions about their post-acceptance of e-learning platforms where vaccination fear functions as a moderator. The current study depends on an online questionnaire that is composed of 29 items. The total number of respondents is 630. The collected data was implemented to test the study model and the proposed constructs and hypotheses depending on the Smart PLS Software. Fear of vaccination has a significant impact on the acceptance of e-learning platforms, and it is a strong mediator in the conceptual model. The findings indicate a positive effect of the fear of vaccination as a mediator in the variables: perceived ease of use and usefulness, perceived daily routine, perceived critical mass and perceived self-efficiency. The implication gives a deep insight to take effective steps in reducing the level of fear of vaccination, supporting the vaccination confidence among educators, teachers and students who will, in turn, affect the society as a whole.

This study discusses the influence of social media on interest in buying copilogy products. The relationship used in this study is a causal relationship with 60 Garut domiciled consumer respondents who have already tried their products. The data analysis technique used is simple regression with the application of SPSS 20. The measurement scale used by researchers is the interval scale. This study uses primary data and secondary data obtained from books, journals, literature, scientific works from the internet with relevant sources. The primary data collection technique in this study is an online questionnaire that contains a number of structured statements given to respondents through Google forms and respondents provide answers based on a Likert scale of 1-5, starting from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). The conclusion of this research is the significant effect between the influence of Social Media on Kopilogi Buy Interest.

Abstract Background The COVID-19 epidemic affected the career choice of healthcare professionals and students. Career choice regret of healthcare professionals and students during COVID-19 outbreak and its affected factors are largely unexplored. Methods Convenience sample of nurses, doctors, and medical students were recruited from hospitals and universities nationwide. The data collected including demographic information, professional value before and after the COVID-19 outbreak, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and career choice regret level by an online questionnaire. Multinominal logistic regression was employed to explore the factors associated with career choice regret. Results In total, 9322 participants of convenience sampling were enrolled in, including 5786 nurses, 1664 doctors, and 1872 medical students. 6.7% participants had career choice regret. Multinominal logistic regression analysis showed, compared to participants with no regret, that as levels of psychological resilience increased, the odds of experiencing career choice regret decreased (OR = 0.95, 95% CI 0.94–0.96), while participants with lower professional value evaluation after the COVID-19 outbreak had higher probability to experience career choice regret (OR = 1.55,95% CI 1.50–1.61). Medical students were more likely to regret than nurses (OR = 1.65,95% CI 1.20–2.28), participants whose career/major choice was not their personal ideal had higher risk of experience career choice regret (OR = 1.59,95% CI 1.29–1.96), while participants who were very afraid of the coronavirus had higher risk to experience career choice regret then participants with no fear at all (OR = 2.00,95% CI 1.24–3.21). As for the medical students, results indicated that medical students major in nursing and undergraduates had higher risk to experience career choice regret compared to medical students major in clinical medicine and postgraduate (Master or PhD), with an odds ratios of 2.65(95% CI 1.56–4.49) and 6.85 (95% CI 2.48–18.91)respectively. Conclusions A minority of healthcare professionals and medical students regretted their career choices during the COVID-19 outbreak. Enhance personal psychological resilience and professional value would helpful to reduce career choice regret among healthcare professionals and students during pandemic.

Each teacher evaluates students’ learning outcomes in their own way, depending on their own ideas and beliefs about teaching, learning, and assessing. It impacts on how pupils work. As a result, concentrating on instructors’ perspectives in general appears to be vital, and exposing EFL teachers’ evaluation concepts is crucial and requires considerable investigation. The current study examines teachers’ assessment conceptions of English as a foreign language (EFL) at a Saudi University. Specifically, it investigates EFL university teachers’ assessment conceptions using Brown’s (2006) Teachers’ Conceptions of Assessment Abridged Inventory, four-factor assessment inventory conceptions that include variables like student accountability, school accountability, progress, and irrelevance. The survey employed a Likert scale with response options ranging from one (strongly disagree) to five (strongly agree). The researcher gathered the study’s data using Google Forms and administered an online questionnaire to fifteen EFL English teachers in English Language Center at a Saudi University called Afaq University (pseudonym), Saudi Arabia. The obtained quantitative data were analyzed manually by descriptive statistics. The findings demonstrated that of all participants, the enhancement principle had the primary value, whereas the conceptions of irrelevance, on the other hand, were discovered to have the lowest level of agreement. The study presented some pedagogical implications and then concluded with the need for further triangulated exploration of the phenomenon.
