The study aimed to reveal the effect of a strategy based on the communicative approach in reading comprehension for tenth grade students in Jordan. To achieve the aims of the study, a test was designed to measure reading comprehension skills, and its validity and reliability were confirmed, The semi-experimental design was adopted, as the experimental group consisting of (25) students was studied according to the strategy based on the communicative approach, and the control group consisting of (25) students was studied in the usual way, The test was applied to the two groups before and after the experiment, The results of the ANCOVA analysis showed that there was a statistically significant difference at (α≤05,0) between the two groups due to the strategy based on the continuous approach in improving reading comprehension, and for the benefit of the experimental group. The study recommended employing a communicative approach in teaching the Arabic language topic, and conducting other similar studies in different educational stages and with new changes.

In principle land procurement is done by a method that between the party requiring land and the right owner of land, whose land is required for public interest, under the principle applicable on land control and legal protection provided by the national law on land to the right to the land holders. In the legislation setting forth the land procurement for public interest a fair treatment is given to individual right so the legal protection and certainty for individuals in land procurement can be achieved. However, in the implementation the empirical cases get insufficient protection and fair treatment. There is no balance, equitability and harmony between the state’s right to control and protection to individual’s property right. On one side, the development for public interest is in an urgent need of sufficient lands, but on the other side individuals also need land for their life continuity. If by reason of development, the land is forcefully confiscated, it means ignoring the protection to individual right on land. Consequently, individuals and community get inadequate justice and protection, legal certainty. This writing is intended to analyze the role of legal protection to individual right in land procurement for public interest. By applying the statute approach method, the state’s role in providing legal protection to its citizens can be learnt. In conclusion there is lack of protection and respect to individual right and community provided on proportional basis because the delegation of state’s land control authority gives impression of extremely wide and great power.

There is an increased interest in reading impairments in the Japanese language, due to its particular writing system which includes two different scripts, Kanji (logograms) and Kana (phonograms). Reading dissociations between Kanji and Kana have been described, showing that each system is processed differently by the cerebral hemispheres. We describe the case of a 68 year old Brazilian “nisei” (i.e. born from Japanese parents) who had knowledge of both Japanese and Portuguese. He presented an ischemic stroke affecting the right hemisphere and subsequently developed a Broca's aphasia and an unexpected reading dissociation, with an impairment in Kana reading comprehension and a good performance in Kanji and in Portuguese. These findings suggest that the patient's right and left hemispheres have assumed opposite roles not only for oral but also for written language decodification.

ABSTRACT
Allah SWT has set the rules on the issue of inheritance clearly and firmly in Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nisa article 11. It explains about the division of inheritance based on male and female sex, that is 2:1 (Das Sollen). But in fact there is a group of people called Khuntsa (double sex). Neither in Al-Qur‘an nor Hadist explains the provisions of inheritance for khuntsa heirs and the large number of parts they receive (Das Sein). The formulation of the problem in this study is how inheritance for the heirs who perform double genital surgery (khuntsa) according to KHI and how the right should be given to the heirs who perform
double genital adjustment surgery (khuntsa) in accordance with Islamic Law.
This research uses juridical normative approach method with analytical descriptive research specification. Sources and types of data are secondary data obtained from Islamic legal norms on inheritance and khuntsa obtained from Al-Quran, Hadist, KHI, and fuqaha and experts opinions in various literature on inheritance and khuntsa.
Based on the research result, khuntsa inheritance right is not regulated in KHI.
Theredore if khuntsa conducts genital adjustment surgery, and get the clarity of its legal status hence its right of inheritance is as specified in Article 176 KHI. The provision of inheritance for khuntsa heirs in Islamic Law is khuntsa first predicted as male then female.
Khuntsa and other heirs share the smallest and most convincing estimates, while the remaining doubts are held until the status of the khuntsa law is clear. If the khuntsa matter is clear, the acceptance of all the heirs is perfected by adding share to those who are reduced according to the acceptance they should receive. In the future, the formulation of KHI should regulate the right of khuntsa inheritance along with the amount of the inheritance received.

This study explores the effectiveness of multimedia modalities by comparing the effects of the use of different modality modes on EFL comprehension. The experiment was conducted during the 2020 academic year. The participants were 186 college EFL students who were selected from six intact classes at a university in Korea. They were divided into six groups at random and received the treatment depending on their experimental conditions: text-only (TO), audio-only (AO), text-picture (TP), audio-picture (AP), text-audio (TA), and text-audio-picture (TAP). For five weeks, all participants read, listened to, or both read and listened to the fairy tales with or without pictures in class. To test the modality effects, the TOEIC-based listening and reading pre- and post-tests were carried out. The whole data collected were analyzed with SPSS version 20 software. The study found that using different modalities in classes plays a beneficial role in increasing comprehension skills. TP, AP, and TA groups improved their listening skills while TO, TP, and TA groups increased their reading skills at a significance level of .05. Statistically significant group differences were also found based on experimental conditions in both listening and reading comprehension skills. Pedagogical implications and suggestions are discussed at the end.

The study investigates the essential skill requirements for construction managers in Nigeria. The objective is to determine the most important skill requirements for construction managers. A structured questionnaire was administered to construction professionals who worked recently with construction managers in their recently completed projects. Snowballing sampling technique was used to select seventy (70) respondents, however only forty (40) responses were used for the data analysis. The results indicate that essential skills required by the construction managers for their jobs include: procedural-industrial skills, quality assurance/management, listening skills, knowledge of codes and regulations, sustainable skills and ability to learn skills. These skills are important for the construction manager to practice effectively in Nigeria and other developing countries. These findings have seven practical implications to professional bodies, Universities and other trainers of construction managers, whose present curricula may be deficient in knowledge areas in industry (business, managerial, personal and technical). These institutions may need to re-orientate and improve the curricula for newly trained construction managers to cope with current skill requirements. On the other hand, recruiting agencies should ensure that job applicants with the right hard and soft skills are engaged as construction managers. Consequently efficient and effective management of future construction projects in Nigeria and other developing countries can be ensured.

The concept of the State's Right to Control over Land in Land Law (UUPA) and the Constitution are things that need to be clarified based on law. The type of research in this research is normative research, namely research on legal principles related to the concept of the State's right to control over land seen from the aspects of the Basic Agrarian Law and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The approach method used in this research is the statutory approach (the statute approach), the conceptual approach, which utilizes the views and thoughts of experts regarding the concept of the rule of law and the historical approach is carried out by examining what background. which underlie a development of the implementation of the right to control the State. The results of the study show that the concept of the right to control of the State which is regulated in the 1945 Constitution and the UUPA, is different from the legal relationship which is ownership between the State and land based on the Domeinverklaring principle which is regulated in the Land Law for the Administration of the Dutch East Indies Government which has been revoked in the UUPA. The principle of Domeinverklaring contradicts the legal awareness of the Indonesian people and the principles of an independent and modern State, especially in the 1945 Constitution which regulates State control of all agrarian resources which are essentially intended for the greatest prosperity of the people (Article 33 paragraph (3)).
