Umar bin Khattab is one of the four Khulafāʻ ar-Rāsyidīn who are known to be firm, fair, and wise in his government,especially in the economic sector in the welfare of their people. Umar’s government lasted ten years. In that period there were many government innovations to overcome various state problems. The country’s economic problems get serious attention by him. Various innovations also occur in the management of zakat. This research is a normative legal research, using a historical approach. The data source is divided into three parts, namely primary sources, secondary, and tertiary sources. While the method of data analysis uses the content analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the principle for Umar is an important instrument and is one of the main sources of state income. Various innovations in the field of zakat are the efforts of Umar as a caliph to optimize the zakat fund. These innovations are innovation of zakat during famine, innovation of zakat for slaves, innovation of zakat on agriculture and livestock, and innovation in the distribution of zakat funds.

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education in wisdom expressions sourced from news discourse. This research utilizes descriptive qualitative approach. The data of research are in the form of phrase, words, and sentense in news discourse that contain wisdom expressions. The data source is news discourse that contain character value in expressions of wisdom. Data collection techniques utilized are observation and note taking. The object of this study is the expressions of wisdom sourced from news discourse. The data analysis method utilizes the referential identity method and the constituent analysis method. Data analysis uses content analysis method. The result of this study indicate that are various value of character education in expressions of wisdom in news discourse, namely the value of religiosity, professionalism, national defense, creativity, peace loving, fighting spirit, love of environment, love of the motherland, harmony, and honesty. The conclusion of this research is that news discourse contain multidisciplinary wisdom expressions, which can be used in character education for the nation's successors.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><strong> <em>Character Value, Wisdom, Discourse.</em></strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah bersumberkan wacana berita. Penilitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa kata, frasa, serta kalimat yang ada pada wacana berita yang mengandung nilai karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah. Sumber data adalah wacana berita yang mengandung nilai karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah. Simak dan catat merupakan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah ungkapan hikmah yang bersumber dari wacana berita. Metode analisis data menggunakan padan referensial dan metode agih. Analisi data dengan menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat berbagai nilai pendidikan karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah dalam wacana berita yakni nilai religiusitas, profesionalisme, bela negara, kreativitas, cinta damai, semangat juang, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, kerukunan, kejujuran. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah wacana berita banyak mengandung ungkapan hikamah multidisipliner yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pendidikan karakter bagi insan penerus bangsa.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Hikmah, Wacana.</strong><strong></strong></p>

This study examines the problem of commissive speech acts in candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Ternate in 2020. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of commissive speech acts on billboards for candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Ternate in 2020. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is the discourse on the billboards for the 2020 Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ternate. The technique of collecting is through observation, documentation, and taking notes. The data analysis technique in this study is the content analysis method by examining all data from various sources according to observations, documentation, and listening results (notes). Next, sort, analyze, and describe the forms of commissive speech acts and conclude the findings. The findings show several forms of commissive speech acts: commissive speech acts of intention, promise, and commissive speech acts of offering. This study recommends that further researchers conduct studies on different objects with a broader amount of data.

This study is focused on analysis of the politeness expressed by the main characters and supporting characters in “Beauty and the Beast” Movie. The objective of this study are to know the politeness expressed by the main characters; Beauty (Belle) and the Beast (Prince) and to know the politeness expressed by the supporting characters in “Beauty and the Beast” movie. This Study is qualitative research that used content analysis method. Technique of data analysis in this study is using descriptive qualitative. The result of analysis are the sum of expression of politeness in saying thank you are 8 expressions, in saying hello are 7 expression, in answer the saying hello are 2 expressions, in use ‘I’m sorry’ are 5 expression and of how to sound more polite are 5 expressions. The sum of all expression of politeness that expressed by the characters in “Beauty  and the Beast” movie are 27 expressions. Based on the discussion of the result of analysis, It can be concluded that expression of politeness is important in communication and it usually use in conversation when people in saying hello or greeting, when people answer the saying hello or greeting from others, when people ask with the sound more polite, and the last when people saying use ‘I’m sorry’ to refused and ignore something and ask to forgiven by other people. This study can be applied to conduct the learning material in teaching about the  English expression in conversation, especially expression of politeness.

This research intends to describe the types of deviations contained in the collection of poems Calligrammes by Guillaume Apollinaire. The approach used is a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data collection technique used is Miles and Huberman. The theory used as the main reference is the deviation theory according to Geoffrey N. Leech which divides the deviation into eight types, namely lexical deviation, phonological deviation, grammatical deviation which includes morphological and syntactic, graphological deviation, semantic deviation, dialectal deviation, deviation of register, and deviation of historical period. The result of data analysis from 7 poems found 5 out of 8 types of deviation which are diffused in each poem, including 24 semantic deviations, 18 graphological deviations, 4 deviations of register, 3 syntactic deviations and 2 lexical deviations. While the types of phonological deviation, morphological deviation, dialectal deviation, and deviation of historical period are not found in any of the data in this collection of poems Calligrammes.

This research was motivated by the problem of being able to find the values of character education in the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education in the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. This research is a qualitative research using content analysis method. The object of this research is the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The data in this study are words, phrases, sentences and discourses which are the values of character education. The data source in this research is the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The data techniques used are reading novels, marking data related to the value of character education, recording data, making inventory, and classifying. The results of this study indicate that there are ten values of character education found in the novel Gunung Ungaran. In addition to the value of character education, other character education values are also found, such as: 1) religious, 2) Tolerance, 3) Work hard, 4) Independent, 5) Curiosity, 6) Love the homeland, 7) Friendly/communicative, 8) Caring for the environment, 9) Social care, 10) Responsibility.Keywords: Education, Character, Novel.

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the conative meanings of Covid-19 hate speech on social media. The data of this study were excerpts from Covid-19 hate speech text on social media in March-May 2020. The data were collected by referring to the note taking technique as the basic technique. Data analysis were performed using the content analysis method. The design analysis method used was the estimated content analysis design. This design utilized all the knowledge researchers have in analyzing data about the conative meaning of Covid-19 hate speech. The results showed that Covid-19's hate speech had the following conative meanings: (1) insulting, (2) criticizing, (3) railing, (4) provoking, (5) harrasing, (6) blasheming, (7) insinuating, and (8) defaming. The results of this study are useful for building critical awareness of the community in the face of hate speech that is constantly present through social media in the community.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami secara komprehensif nilai-nilai humaniora dalam antologi puisi "Blues untuk Bonnie" karya WS Rendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi melalui kajian struktural semiotik. Hasil penelitian yakni antologi puisi Blues untuk Bonnie karya WS Rendra mengandung nilai-nilai humaniora yang terlihat melalui tanda-tanda semiotik berupa moralitas, simpati, empati, kasih sayang, kepedulian, kerjasama, dan toleransi. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa masih banyak jenis-jenis karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama pendidikan karakter bagi siswa dan mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap pengajaran sastra di sekolah lanjutan sampai perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk penyusunan bahan ajar atau pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah pendidikan karater bangsa. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai humaniora, antologi puisi, kajian struktural semiotik Abstract The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the humanities values in antology of poetry "Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra. The research used content analysis method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used library study and data analysis techniques with content analysis through the study of structuralism semiotic. The result was the antology of poetry 'Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra contains humanities values seen through semiotic signs are morality, symphaty, empbaty, love, care, togetherness, and tolerant. The findings lead to the recomendation that there are still many kinds of literary works which can be the object of research by using different approaches for investigating education characters! values for students. This finding implicates to literary instruction in schools to universities in forms of teaching materials or literary appreciation instruction as one of the alternative problem solving of the nation character education. ABSTRACT Objective: to describe the most important tools of ATLAS.ti Software and to associate them with the procedures of Thematic Content Analysis. Method: It is a theoretical reflection of the Content Analysis phases of Laurence Bardin, associating them with software tools Atlas.ti and showing its usefulness for data analysis in qualitative research. Results: historical contextualization and the available resources of Atlas.ti software with presentation of health research involving the phases of thematic content analysis. Final considerations: The Atlas.ti software assists in the accomplishment of the thematic content analysis being this promising association in health research.

The purpose of this research is to obtain an overall view of the translation of adverbs of manner from English to Bahasa Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach using a content analysis method. The data used in this study are all sentences which are positive, negative, and interrogative sentences, including translation strategies and translation shifts (of the meaning). The data source in this study is Charlotte’s Web novel by E.B. White in English as the source text and the translation in Bahasa Indonesia (Laba-laba dan Jaring Kesayangannya) as the target text translated by Dina Begum.

This writing examines the Syariah court’s approach in applying the principle of res judicata and estoppel in family law cases in Syariah. With the existence of the legal provisions, there are still the unclear application of res judicata and the principle of estopple in terms of hearing mal cases especially the matter involved with a monetary claim for example mut’ah cases, child maintenance, and jointly acquired property. Although this principle has been understood by the legal practitioner, the synchronization between the principle of res judicata, estopple, and court procedure is yet to be scrutinized by the Courts. Thus, a qualitative study was carried out along with library research including decided cases in this research. The content analysis method is applied in data analysis. This study indicated that in arriving at a decision, Syariah Court indirectly applied these principles. However, the implementation of these principles should be highlighted to validate the principle of justice in Syariah Courts.
