Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami secara komprehensif nilai-nilai humaniora dalam antologi puisi "Blues untuk Bonnie" karya WS Rendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi melalui kajian struktural semiotik. Hasil penelitian yakni antologi puisi Blues untuk Bonnie karya WS Rendra mengandung nilai-nilai humaniora yang terlihat melalui tanda-tanda semiotik berupa moralitas, simpati, empati, kasih sayang, kepedulian, kerjasama, dan toleransi. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa masih banyak jenis-jenis karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama pendidikan karakter bagi siswa dan mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap pengajaran sastra di sekolah lanjutan sampai perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk penyusunan bahan ajar atau pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah pendidikan karater bangsa. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai humaniora, antologi puisi, kajian struktural semiotik Abstract The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the humanities values in antology of poetry "Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra. The research used content analysis method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used library study and data analysis techniques with content analysis through the study of structuralism semiotic. The result was the antology of poetry 'Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra contains humanities values seen through semiotic signs are morality, symphaty, empbaty, love, care, togetherness, and tolerant. The findings lead to the recomendation that there are still many kinds of literary works which can be the object of research by using different approaches for investigating education characters! values for students. This finding implicates to literary instruction in schools to universities in forms of teaching materials or literary appreciation instruction as one of the alternative problem solving of the nation character education. This research intends to describe the types of deviations contained in the collection of poems Calligrammes by Guillaume Apollinaire. The approach used is a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data collection technique used is Miles and Huberman. The theory used as the main reference is the deviation theory according to Geoffrey N. Leech which divides the deviation into eight types, namely lexical deviation, phonological deviation, grammatical deviation which includes morphological and syntactic, graphological deviation, semantic deviation, dialectal deviation, deviation of register, and deviation of historical period. The result of data analysis from 7 poems found 5 out of 8 types of deviation which are diffused in each poem, including 24 semantic deviations, 18 graphological deviations, 4 deviations of register, 3 syntactic deviations and 2 lexical deviations. While the types of phonological deviation, morphological deviation, dialectal deviation, and deviation of historical period are not found in any of the data in this collection of poems Calligrammes.

This research aimed to identify the form of arguments in online media articles using argument reconstruction. The data were argumentative texts written in online media article in 2017 in www.hipwee.com, malesbanget.com, and www.idntimes.com. The data studied were 44 paragraphs consisting of 150 sentences. The approach used was qualitative approach by using content analysis method. This research used the triangulation technique (combination). The simultaneous data collection was coupled with data credibility tests with various data collection techniques and sources. Meanwhile, means of documentation and content analysis techniques were done to collect the data. The results indicate that the often used reasonings in online media articles are the generalization in 11 paragraphs and categorical syllogism in 28 paragraphs. The results of this research can be used to find out and develop ways of writing online media articles for writers and readers of online media articles.

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education in wisdom expressions sourced from news discourse. This research utilizes descriptive qualitative approach. The data of research are in the form of phrase, words, and sentense in news discourse that contain wisdom expressions. The data source is news discourse that contain character value in expressions of wisdom. Data collection techniques utilized are observation and note taking. The object of this study is the expressions of wisdom sourced from news discourse. The data analysis method utilizes the referential identity method and the constituent analysis method. Data analysis uses content analysis method. The result of this study indicate that are various value of character education in expressions of wisdom in news discourse, namely the value of religiosity, professionalism, national defense, creativity, peace loving, fighting spirit, love of environment, love of the motherland, harmony, and honesty. The conclusion of this research is that news discourse contain multidisciplinary wisdom expressions, which can be used in character education for the nation's successors.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><strong> <em>Character Value, Wisdom, Discourse.</em></strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah bersumberkan wacana berita. Penilitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa kata, frasa, serta kalimat yang ada pada wacana berita yang mengandung nilai karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah. Sumber data adalah wacana berita yang mengandung nilai karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah. Simak dan catat merupakan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah ungkapan hikmah yang bersumber dari wacana berita. Metode analisis data menggunakan padan referensial dan metode agih. Analisi data dengan menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat berbagai nilai pendidikan karakter dalam ungkapan hikmah dalam wacana berita yakni nilai religiusitas, profesionalisme, bela negara, kreativitas, cinta damai, semangat juang, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, kerukunan, kejujuran. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah wacana berita banyak mengandung ungkapan hikamah multidisipliner yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pendidikan karakter bagi insan penerus bangsa.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Hikmah, Wacana.</strong><strong></strong></p>

The objective of this research was to provide an understanding of cohesion and coherence in the newspaper Bisnis Indonesia with title Kemenperin Jamin Serap Garam Rakyat. The research method used is the method of content analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques begin with data reduction, data tabulation, data classification, data interpretation, and conclusions. The results show that in the news text in the newspaper Bisnis Indonesia there is a more dominant cohesion found pronouns, ellipsis, and conjunctions or hyphens. Then, the coherence that is found is the relationship of contradictions, general specific relationships, comparison relationships, causal relationships, review relationships, and referral relationships. <em>This research aims to describe the use of diction,the figure of speech, the use of<strong> </strong>image andcharacter education valuesin novel Seorang Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah by Puthut EA. This research employed descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data of research was contained in novel Seorang Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah and the result of interview with some informants. Technique of collecting data used was library and interview techniques. In this study, the author employed flow model of analysis.The results of research were as follows. Firstly, diction used in novel Seorang Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah consisted of six types. Secondly, there were four figure of speeches used in novel Seorang Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah. Ellipsis as the part of linking figure of speech is used most widely by author. Thirdly, the image used in novel Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah consisted of six types visual images were used most widely. Fourthly, there were ten character education values in novel Seorang Laki-Laki Yang Keluar Dari Rumah. Curiosity education character value was the one used most dominantly.</em>

A This study aims to examine the sign system in the form of icons, indexes, and symbols and to interpret the meanings and messages as well as moral-religious values contained in the poem "Morgenlied" by Martin Opitz. The method used is a content analysis method with a qualitative approach based on semiotic analysis. This method serves to examine the poem "Morgenlied" by Martin Opitz, especially on the sign system in the form of icons, indexes, and symbols as well as religious moral values contained in the poem. While the data collection technique is a literature study. Based on the semiotic analysis, this poem contains a religious element in the form of a prayer of thanksgiving to God for His mercy and glory.

The aim of this research is to obtain a deep understanding of character education in And The Mountains Echoed Novel written by Khalid Hosseini. This research used qualitative approach, content analysis method, through structuralism and  semiotics study. Structurally, character education in this novel found in the theme, the plot, the characters and characterization, and the setting. Semiotically, the researcher found semiotics signs in And The Mountains Echoed novel relating to the character education, namely, index, symbol, and icon. The data were collected through a carefull reading of the novel, identification, and classification. The values taken are the combination between character education value from Pusat Kurikulum Balitbang Diknas and Lickona’s. However not all values are captured, among the 28 values, only thirteen caught from the novel. The values are hard working, religious, responsible, love, integrity, social care, never give up, thanks be to Allah, appreciating achievement, wisdom, creative, curiousity, and friendly/communicative. From the structure of the novel, the character education implemented explicitly and implicitly in the theme, the character and characterization, the setting, and the plot. While from the semiotics, the character education mostly found  in the form of index, followed by symbol,and then icon.

<p>This study aims to describe expressive speech acts and cultural values of Arab society contained in a collection of short stories Wahah al-Asdiqa’. This research uses qualitative approach with content analysis method. First, the researcher reads and studies the data, then records some expressive speech acts, after that she classifies and analyzes the speech into expressive speech acts and cultural values of Arab society, and most recently interpretes the data. The data analysis found that in the Wahah al-Asdiqa’ there are eight types of thanks using expressive speech acts, one replies from thank you, five apologies, seven greetings, two congratulations, fourty praises, five sad expressions, fourteen joyful expressions, and three offensive words, and there are some values of Arabic culture such as language, art, religion, technology, occupation, social organization, and science. Most of the culture of Arab society is based on the teachings of Islam, such as how to greet, praise always given to God, stories of prophets, culture makes poetry, etc. The expressive speech acts and cultural values must be taught to the Arabic students to improve expressive speech acts and have multicultural competence in communicating.</p><p><br />Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ekspresif dan nilai-nilai budaya dalam masyarakat Arab dalam kumpulan cerita pendek Wahah al-Asdiqa’. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode konten analisis. Pertama, peneliti membaca dan mengkaji data lalu mencatat tindak tutur ekspresif, setelah itu mengklasifikasi dan menganalisis perkataan tersebut dalam tindak tutur ekspresif dan nilai-nilai budaya dalam masyarakat Arab, dan kemudian menginterpretasikan data. Berdasar hasil analisis, ada delapan tipe ucapan berterima kasih yang menggunakan tindak tutur ekspresif, satu respon dari ucapan terima kasih, lima permintaan maaf, tujuh sapaan, dua ucapan selamat, 40 pujian, lima ungkapan sedih, 14 ungkapan bahagia, dan tiga kata hinaan, selain itu ada beberapa nilai budaya Arab seperti bahasa, seni, agama, teknologi, mata pencaharian, organisasi sosial, dan ilmu. Kebanyakan budaya masyarakat Arab didasarkan pada pengajaran Islam, seperti cara menyapa, pujian terhadap Tuhan, kisah-kisah nabi, budaya membuat puisi, dan sebagainya. Tindak tutur ekspresif dan nilai budaya harus diajarkan kepada siswa yang mempelajari Bahasa Arab untuk meningkatkan tindak tutur ekspresif dan memiliki kompetensi multi kultural dalam berkomunikasi.</p>

The ideology of Pancasila as a way of life, the basis of the state, and national identity has a various challenge from time to time so that the existence of Pancasila as an Ideology must be maintained, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. The research method used is a qualitative approach by doing study of literature. In data collection the writer used documentation while in techniques data analysis used content analysis, inductive and descriptive. Results of the research about challenges and strengthening of the Pancasila Ideology in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 are: (1)  grounding Pancasila, (2) increasing professional human resources based on Pancasila’s values, (3) maintaining the existence of Pancasila as the State Ideology.

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.
