The banking sector as one of the economic drivers plays an important role in society. Over time, bank operations did not only raise funds from the public but were more complex. The development of the banking industry can be seen from the number of banks in Indonesia that have spurred the level of competition. Of course, the bank must pay attention to its health. The use of bank soundness level parameters or RGEC combined with clusters is interesting to study. By using the cluster method, banks can be classified based on the parameters of their health level. This study aims to analyze the RGEC-based bank grouping classification generated by the Fuzzy C-Means and Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel clustering analysis using financial ratio data on 80 conventional banks in Indonesia. The software used in this study is Matlab r2015b. The results showed that the FCM clustering had a smaller standard deviation than FGK so that the first cluster in the FCM showed that the banks were in good condition compared to the other clusters even though the overall condition of banks in Indonesia was good when viewed from their financial performance.

The financial statements serve as a benchmark in assessing the financial performance of the company as the basis for making business decisions. The motivation in conducting this research is to support previous research to see the development condition of one of the oil palm plantation companies. The purpose of this study is to assess the financial performance by using financial ratio analysis and horizontal analysis. The method used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive with analysis design using Term series Analysis. The result of the research based on financial ratio analysis shows the liquidity ratio and solvency ratio in good condition, while the activity ratio and profitability ratio are not good because it is below the industry average of similar companies. Based on horizontal analysis, financial performance fluctuated and influenced internal and external factors such as operational performance and the average price of world palm oil. The limitations of this study are using only two analytical tools and financial statements analyzed only the balance sheet and income statement.

E-learning has become a global phenomenon and it is the central theme of many industries and organizations for the additional method of training which can complement traditional methods of learning. The practices of E-learning and Learning management system (LMS) in the banking sector make the drastic changes in the employee performance and their knowledge regarding job in the modern banking structure. This study provides a comprehensive body of knowledge about LMS and e-learning, in general, within the public and private bank in India. The main objective of this paper to understand and analyze the attitude of employees towards E-learning practices in banking sector in Shivamogga district. The data was analyzed by using exploratory factor analysis, based on the responses received from a random the sample 50 of the bank employees working in the private sector banks.

Purpose – Which of the banking stream is relatively more profitable in Middle Eastern and North Africa (MENA) region? Design/methodology/approach – The empirical study covers a sample of 15 conventional and 15 Islamic banks for the period 2002-2009.The authors estimate models using the generalized method of moments in system, of Blundell and Bond (1998). They exploit an up-to-date econometric technique which takes into consideration the issue of endogeneity of regressors to evaluate the comparative profitability of Islamic and conventional banks in the MENA region. Findings – Empirical analysis results show that the determinants’ significance varies between Islamic and conventional banks. Profitability seems to be quite persistent in the MENA region reflecting a higher degree of government intervention and may signal barriers to competition. Originality/value – The main interest is to develop a comprehensive model that integrates macroeconomic, industry-specific and bank-specific determinants. The paper makes comparison of the performance between two different banking systems in the MENA region. The authors consider a variable crisis to gain additional insights into the impacts of the financial crisis on MENA banking sector.

Purpose This paper aims to explore empirically the impact of fair value accounting on banking contagion in a comparative context between Islamic banks and conventional banks. Design/methodology/approach The analysis of the impact of fair value changes on banking contagion is carried out through a panel data model. This study covers 20 Islamic banks and 40 conventional banks operating in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries during nine years from 2003 to 2011. Findings Empirical evidence shows that there is a significant change in dynamic volatility in GCC banking sector because of financial crisis 2008. However, results fail to confirm the hypothesis that fair value accounting is significantly associated with an increase of banking contagion for both Islamic and conventional banks operating in GCC countries. Originality/value The outcome of this study provides some insights for academicians, accountants as well as regulators in terms of enhancing the effectiveness of accounting practices.

Abstract— A few months ago there was Covid-19 virus outbreak by SARS-CoV-19 virus which has clinical manifestations, one of which is Anosmia. Anosmia cause patient was experienced smell’s decreasing which causes psychological problems that loss of comfort and appetite. This condition may also cause imunity’s decreasing in patient. Anosmia in Covid-19 patients could be temporary, if the body's immune system is maintained in good condition, one of the factors is continuing provide healthy and nutritious food intake, even though in tasteless conditions. Therefore, this article can be used as an educational material for the public, how to understand the neurobiological conditions of anosmia in Covid-19, further to avoid depressed due to loss of taste which could be lead to loss appetite. Keywords: Covid-19, Anosmia, Neurobiology Abstrak— Beberapa bulan lalu telah terjadi penyebaran wabah virus Covid-19 oleh SARS-CoV-19 virus yang memiliki manifestasi klinis salah satunya adalah Anosmia. Kondisi anosmia menyebabkan kondisi pasien mengalami penurunan daya penciuman yang menyebabkan gangguan psikologis berupa kehilangan rasa nyaman dan kehilangan napsu makan. Kondisi ini sudah barang tentu akan menyebabkan penurunan daya imunitas pasien. Anosmia pada pasien Covid-19 bersifat sementara, apabila daya imunitas tubuh tetap dijaga dalam keadaan baik, salah satu faktornya adalah tetap memberikan asupan makan sehat dan bergizi, meskipun dalam kondisi tasteless. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya artikel ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan edukasi kepada khalayak, bagaimana memahami kondisi anosmia pada Covid-19 secara neurobiologi, sehingga dapat menghindarkan rasa depresi karena kehilangan rasa akan makaman yang dapat menyebabkan turunnya napsu makan. The eleventh issue of Ushus brings to you a wide variety of scholarly articles encompassing socio-economic and managerial issues. The first paper "Information technology and banking sector with reference to customer satisfaction" focuses on the impact of automation of the public sector banks as per the reflections of the bank officials and the customers. The crest of the article lies in the fact that the customers are being able to keep abreast with the exchange of automation in the modern banking practices and the survey brings out their perception towards it and throws some light on the effective ways to deal with this crisis. The study concludes with the analytical results that public sector bank customers have a positive inclination towards technological upgradation but the banks need to be more flexible in their work process and focus on marketing themselves in order to entrap a larger customer base. The paper titled "Administration of micro-credit by national bank" talks about the successful micro-finance initiatives taken by NABARD how aptly they had been implemented and evolved as a sustainable social movement over a decade now.

Human resource capital is the most strategic part of any organization. Retention of human resources is a critical issue these days. Keeping in view the importance of human capital and its retention, present study aimed to explore the impact of two strong predictors, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, on turnover intentions of employees in banking sector of Pakistan. 250 Survey questionnaires are distributed in Islamic and Conventional banks to elicit responses of professionals among which 207 questionnaires are returned and used for analysis. Findings reveal surprisingly contradictory results from previous studies. Job Satisfaction and organizational commitment are having very negligible impact on turnover intentions. Although employees are not much satisfied as well as committed with the organization but still they have minimal intention towards leaving the organization. Results indicated that turnover intentions of employees in banking sector of Pakistan depend on various other factors. Results are surprising but the paradox can be understood by keeping in view few demographics of respondents as well as the economic condition of the country. The study has significant decision-making implications for banks and called for an urgently inquiry about those influential factors that largely affect the turnover intentions of their employees. In addition, banks also need to apply measures to enhance the job satisfaction and organizational commitment as empirical results indicate very less satisfaction and commitment of employees.

The importance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to help businesses acquire new customers, retain existing ones and maximize their lifetime value. This paper discusses the role of Customer Relationship Management in 4 bank units and the need for Customer Relationship Management to increase customer value by using several analytical methods in CRM applications. This paper attempts to identify the technological revolution witnessed by commercial banks and to what extent it has benefited banks to build better customer relationship management (CRM) services between public sector banks and private sector banks. The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze customer opinions about bank CRM in relation to service quality management. 2) To find out the customer's opinion about the bank's CRM on customer relationship management. This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data will be collected by distributing structured questionnaires to conventional banks (Private and Government). Secondary data will be collected from records published by the financial services authority (OJS), standard textbooks and published research papers, and through web information. The primary data required will be collected from 6 banks in Bengkulu. In addition to collecting information from banks, it also collects information from the general public who have bank accounts.

Background: ICU is the costly part of the hospital that has functional approach for patients who have reversible conditions so it needs mechanical ventilation and other special services. Some patients are not really in need of special care only the continuous monitoring of vital signs needs of the public sector. Patients with good condition or End-Stage were not candidate to admitting in ICU. The aim of this study was to evaluate indications of admitting patients in internal ICU and the rate of mortality in Emam Khomeini hospital in 2013.Methods: The study was conducted retrospectively evaluated the records of patients hospitalized in ICU and disease prognosis and treatment of disease and APACHE2 criteria was analyses.Results: The mean age of patients in the study was 61.05±19.81. Of 118 patients, 70 (59.3%) survived and 48 (40.7%) patients died. APACHE2 mean in the study was 21.46±7.5. GCS average was 9.83±4.27. There was correlation between mortality of patients and type of disease. In this study in APACHE2 score between 25-29 and >35 in mortality rate we are higher than standard average and in 10-14 and 20-24 we are lower than standard average.Conclusions: This study shows that GCS is not a good measure for the evaluation of patients hospitalized in internal ICU. In the present study, patients with higher APACHE2 score of 35 died. That show hospitalization that patient in ICU has no difference in the prognosis of them. As regards mortality rate in ICU patients in this study has no significant difference with predicted APACHE values, indications of ICU admition in Emam Khomeini hospital observed exactly.

Now a days the Indian banking sector has been facing serious problems of raising Non – Performing Assets. Non – Performing Assets are a burning topic of concern for the public sector banks, as managing and controlling NPA is very important. A well – built banking sector is significant for a prosperous economy. The crash of banking sector may have an unfavourable blow on other sectors. A banker should be very cautious in lending, because banker is not lending money out of his own pocket. A major portion of the money lent comes from the public deposits and government share. At present NPA is increasing year by year in nationalized banks. According to the RBI data the Gross NPA of nationalised banks as on end of September 2017 hits 7.34 lakh crore. In this direction present paper is undertaken to study the reasons for advances becoming NPA of the Pithoragarh District CO- Operative Bank ltd and to give suitable suggestions to overcome the mentioned problem.
