Using the qualitative research approach, the paper finds out challenges faced by rural Classical Pentecostal Pastors, families, and congregants in Ghana with regards to policy generalization, which often fails to address some specific challenges of rural folks. The transfer of pastors is an age-old phenomenon dating from the early church as recorded in the Bible. This process was conducted in consultation with the Holy Spirit and the leaders of the Church. In the contemporary Church, the same format is used. However, what is lacking is unequal treatment given to pastors who are posted to rural areas that were not evident in the early church. This paper employed the qualitative research approach in studying rural pastoral care in three Classical Pentecostal churches in Ghana. The study findings indicate that children of rural pastors face challenges which affect their holistic development. It recommends pastors and their families should be given fair treatment in the transfer process to ensure the holistic development of their children. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of church conflict on the growth of Pentecostal churches in Kenya with focus on selected churches in Nairobi which are struggling with growth. The objectives of the study were to investigate the nature of conflicts in the Pentecostal churches in Kenya, determine the effect of conflict on the growth of Pentecostal churches in Kenya, and to assess the conflict resolution mechanisms employed to solve the conflict in Pentecostal churches in Kenya. The study was carried out in branches of four churches which experienced growth challenges, namely: Full Gospel Churches of Kenya, Kenya Assemblies of God, Pentecostal Evangelism Fellowship of Africa, and Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya. The study used qualitative research approach as it intended to collect data based on participants’ subjective experience, and its ability to uncover unexpected and exploring new avenues. The target population was church leaders who have been in the church for at least two years. The study used purposive sampling method to select the church leaders in influential positions (i.e., leaders that direct and/or lead a church ministry) of the selected churches according to the church leadership structure espoused by each of the four selected churches. Proportionate stratified sampling was used where equal number of units was selected from each stratum. Data was collected using face-to-face individual interview schedule. The data was analyzed thematically using content analysis method. The researcher came up with the vital themes, recurring ideas, and patterns of belief, which assisted with the integration of the results. The study found that there were conflicts in all the churches under study. The study established that there were top leadership wrangles at the national level seeking to control the church. There were also local church leadership wrangles pitting pastors and other leaders and conflict among other leaders within the church. The study established that conflict negatively affected the growth of the church as the churches lost members to other churches around. Among the conflict resolution mechanism used were prayer and fasting, dialogues, and courts. The study recommends that the Pentecostal churches should adopt conflict resolution methods and avoid conflicts by practicing inclusivity.

The emphasis on tithing in modern day Zimbabwean Pentecostal churches is now of a major concern. This study unravels tithing in the selected churches to see how the doctrine is implemented. It follows (Deuteronomy 14: 22-29) which prescribes how tithing should be done. However, Pentecostal churches seem to take a different approach altogether which promotes tithing as a benefit for the pastors and other church leaders. Qualitative research methodology was used to gather the data in the study. Interviews, document analysis and observations were used. Findings reveal that some pastors are mis-appropriating tithes for their own benefit at the expense of other vulnerable members of the church. It thus recommends that a new of handling tithes be implemented that tries to balance off with every stakeholder.

Considering recent developments where the church is being challenged to face various world problems such as natural disasters, economic crises, pandemics, lack of funds, world inflation, the church must find a way out so that all the main activities of the church can run well. One of the most important factors in managing church funds is how the church can find alternative sources of income so that church funds do not depend solely on the congregation's love offerings and the congregation's tithe which tends to be increasingly uncertain in number. To answer the research problem, the author uses a qualitative research approach and through excavation of Luke 19:12-27. The purpose of this research is to provide a way out for churches in managing church funds. From the results of this study obtained a biblical method of investment, effective and low risk level.Abstrak: Gereja sebagai organisasi non-profit memiliki visi dan misi yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan dana yang efektif. This study aims to determine the extent of the factors that cause female pastors to become victims of domestic violence and to what extent the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor has handled domestic violence experienced by female pastor, which can be used as a study and learning material in preventing and overcoming. Violence against female pastors. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The qualitative research approach was chosen because it emphasizes on phenomena/facts, the meaning of reasoning, certain situations (in certain contexts), or more research on matters related to the daily lives of women who are victims of domestic violence. From the results of the study, it was found that the factors causing domestic violence were due to jealousy from the husbands, as well as economic pressures. Causative factors also occur due to husbands who on average are drunkards and like to gamble, husbands who have less education than their wives, husbands who are hypersexual, husbands who experience psychological disorders, and also because wives are too busy with their service duties so that their husbands are feeling abandoned. The GMIT effort in this case carried out by UPP Pastoral as an extension of the MSH GMIT is considered not yet carrying out its mentoring function effectively to pastors who are victims of domestic violence. The victims felt that the services provided were still limited to providing advice without conducting any deepening of the problems experienced by the victims. For this reason, the functions of pastoral bodies in all spheres need to be optimized in a planned manner as a form of psychosocial support to prevent and break the chain of domestic violence. The research results also show that the church does not yet have a procedure or SOP that allows the recovery process for the victims to be carried out in a planned and systematic manner. The victims are also increasingly stressed because in addition to losing their income due to being withdrawn from their ministry as pastors, they also get negative stigma from their fellow pastors and congregations.

This paper discusses the challenges of records management that arise from the use of adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, despite the advantages of using such buildings. A qualitative research approach was used as well as a case study research design. Data were collected from seven officers of the Gweru Records Centre through semi-structured interviews. Personal observation was used to triangulate findings from interviews. It was found that the use of adapted buildings as records centres was a cheaper and quicker way of establishing records centres throughout the country. However, a number of preservation, security and management challenges cropped up as the conditions of the buildings and the environment of the adapted buildings were not conducive to the proper and professional management of records. This study is important in that it explores the prospects and challenges of using adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, an area that has not been researched by many authors. This provokes archival authorities and the government to seriously consider establishing purpose-built records and archival centres.
