Motivational Gratification

Researchers in the field of information system (IS) endorse the view that there is always a discrepancy between the expressions of client’s automation requirements and IS designers understanding of such requirement because of difference in the field of expertise. In this article an attempt is taken to develop a motivational gratification model (MGM) from the cognitive informatics perspective for the automation of employee motivation measurement, instead of developing a motivation theory from a management perspective and expecting the IS designers to develop a system based on the understanding of the theory that is alien to his/her field of expertise. Motivational Gratification is an integrated work motivation model which theoretically explains how employees self-regulate their effort intensity for ‘production’ or ‘reduction’ of motivational force towards future high performance, and it is developed using taxonomies of system approach from psychology and management. The practical implications of MGM in management and IS analysis and design are discussed.

The influence of motivational mechanism on increase of labor activity of the personnel of the enterprise is analyzed in the article; the basic approaches of domestic and foreign scientists to methods of motivation are summarized; evolutionary development of motivational theories is considered; the content of the modern interpretation of the concept of "motivation" is revealed; the basic methods of personnel motivation applied in modern organizations are conducted; American, Japanese and French have been identified and studied among a large number of models of work motivation; it is proved that the activation of staff activity at the enterprise is the driving force of innovative changes that can be achieved only through the formation of a complex system of motivation and constant professional development of staff, identified the main and most urgent problems of motivation of the staff of the organization; the main motives of employees were grouped into four groups; noted as a drawback that the vast majority of modern business executives are known to implement a material incentive system that has a short-term impact on staff and provides a lasting effect; confirmed that a well thought out and well organized motivation system influences the recruitment of new staff and the stabilization of existing jobs; it is emphasized that the modern executives have the task of creating an individual effective system of employee motivation, finding the right approaches, methods of influencing the employees that could most effectively influence them and force them into high-performance work; a scale of motives for work has been constructed; the introduction of a compensation package, which allows to control the turnover of employees, to increase the level of motivation of work, to achieve the growth of labor productivity, to attract the right workers to the organization, to provide favorable social and psychological climate, to increase the image of the organization and to ensure its competitiveness.

The research goal is to identify and analyze the need of accounting information system related to the revenue cycle at PT XYZ. This paper designing the useful of accounting information systems to support the current business processes, especially on the revenue cycle process. The design method is an Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) which refers to the modeling and design requirements discipline. And the result achieved by analysis and design of accounting information systems can support current activities of the revenue cycle, especially for the documentation and store of transaction data, and generate reports in accordance with company requirements. Conclusions derived from the analysis and design is the implementation of a webbased application that can help PT XYZ to do the work in different places, such as marketing office, head office and especially at the exhibition. Index Terms - Accounting Information System, revenue cycle, OOAD

Among the measures aimed at the effective performance of public services in a modern urban environment, one of the main is the quality control and efficiency of the work performed. Timely street cleaning is hampered by several groups of problems, including the lack of a single automated information system (AIS) control of the work performed. In this regard, there is a need to improve and automate this area. This approach will allow you to combine high performance due to the speed of the system and effective quality control of street cleaning. The purpose of this work is the study and analysis of existing information systems (is), allowing to automate the process of quality control and operational performance of the above tasks. On the basis of the conducted researches, to develop is, having coordinated with the customer (administration of the Central district of Krasnoyarsk) requirements and functionality which allow to automate this process. This article presents the main aspects of the design and software solutions for the implementation of the algorithm in the form of AIS, designed to automate the process of monitoring the cleanliness of streets in the city. The development of AIS was conducted in the PhpStorm integrated development environment in the PHP programming language.

This work illustrates the analysis of Film Bulk Acoustic Resonators (FBAR) using 3D Finite Element (FEM) simulations with the software OnScale in order to predict and improve resonator performance and quality before manufacturing. This kind of analysis minimizes manufacturing cycles by reducing design time with 3D simulations running on High-Performance Computing (HPC) cloud services. It also enables the identification of manufacturing effects on device performance. The simulation results are compared and validated with a manufactured FBAR device, previously reported, to further highlight the usefulness and advantages of the 3D simulations-based design process. In the 3D simulation results, some analysis challenges, like boundary condition definitions, mesh tuning, loss source tracing, and device quality estimations, were studied. Hence, it is possible to highlight that modern FEM solvers, like OnScale enable unprecedented FBAR analysis and design optimization.

To ensure the quality of the work done in the Korean career civil service system (which is characterized by stability, such as lifelong job security), the public sector must use methods to motivate their employees and improve their performance in the long run. In this study, we propose that grit, as a type of work motivation, can boost employee well-being (i.e., job satisfaction, job stress) and organizational outcomes (i.e., organizational commitment, performance). Therefore, the main objective of this study is to assess the validity of grit among public employees from a collectivist culture; to this end, we use the 2016 survey of Korean public officials ( N = 2,070). The results are as follows: (a) grit has a direct positive effect on quality of work life (QWL), (b) QWL can increase employee’s quality of life (QOL), and (c) professionalism and goal-oriented culture negatively and positively regulate grit and QWL. We also examined how employee motivation (e.g., grit) can enrich their QWL and QOL. Altogether, this study supports the argument that human resource (HR) managers should pay attention to grit. To achieve success, one needs not only some level of ability but also the zeal and capacity for hard labor, the latter two of which are considered to constitute grit. Given that, this research targeted grit in the Korean context—not the Western one—and examined its effects in the Korean public sector, where conscientiousness is emphasized.
