This chapter explores media influence on behaviour change and its implication for HIV prevention programmes in Nigeria. Using the agenda setting, and the uses and gratifications theories, it analyzes how the media set agenda for public opinion and the gratification that audience receive from media information vis-a-vis behaviour change initiatives in reducing HIV epidemic in Nigeria. The chapter through a descriptive and literature review approach assesses effective communication framework for behaviour change and some of the factors contributing to HIV prevalence in Nigeria. The chapter sums up case studies of interventions that have documented the effectiveness of the media in HIV prevention initiatives. The chapter concludes on the positive influence of media intervention in sexual behaviour change programmes but notes that behaviour change still lies with individual decisions. Therefore it recommends other forms of communication like interpersonal communication, community mobilization and advocacy to support media strategies for effective HIV prevention initiatives in Nigeria.

Currently the development of information technology has an important influence in the development of learning systems, one of which is technology in the multimedia field. Multimedia technology is an indispensable tool for the learning process. The use of text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning helps students to quickly understand learning material. Multimedia also provides opportunities for educators to develop learning methods so that they get maximum results. AMIK AKMI Baturaja is a computer college that has not fully utilized information technology in its learning, especially in the field of Multimedia. For this reason, researchers conducted this research for the development of learning at the Campus AMIK AKMI Baturaja. This study aims to produce a multimedia-based learning media at AMIK AKMI Baturaja which can be a driving force for student learning achievement. In this study using a research method of literature study, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The media development method uses MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which consists of six stages, namely concept (needs analysis), design (design), material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. . The result of this research is a multimedia-based learning system presented in the form of e-learning. This media is expected to have a positive influence in increasing student achievement and learning independence.

Learning media is a communication tool both print and audiovisual that is used to convey the material that will be delivered by educators to students in the learning process. The use of media as learning should receive special attention from educators in each learning process. If the media as a learning tool used is very interesting, it does not rule out the possibility that students will better understand the concepts that will be delivered in the learning process to the fullest. Media that can be used in learning physics one of which is Crocodile Physics. This research was conducted to determine the positive effect of using Crocodile Physics media in learning on understanding physics concepts. The study was conducted at Indraprasta PGRI University in 2018. The population is the first semester students of the 2018/2019 academic year. The researcher used quantitative research methods. The experimental design used is classical experimental design. The data analysis technique used is the Independent sample t-test using the SPSS 16 program. The research hypothesis to be tested is that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning to understand physics concepts. The results of the calculation of the study have a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 which states that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning towards understanding physics concepts. Therefore the results of the study state that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning towards understanding physics concepts.
