Monetary policy is the policy by which the government of a country control supplies of money in an economy which is announced by the central bank for every six months. Central Bank carries out monetary policy by the banking system of a country.  Central Bank uses Bank rate; Cash reserve ratio and open market operation to control the availability of funds in an economy. Within these three instruments, the cash reserve ratio is directly linked to the commercial bank's profitability. Every commercial bank maintains a cash reserve ratio against their demand & time deposits. Being changes in the cash reserve ratio banks profit level may increase or decrease. The prime intention here is to show the impact of monetary policy, especially Cash Reserve Ratio on the commercial bank's profitability. This study covers only listed commercial banks in Bangladesh. As sample researcher purposively selected 15 listed commercial banks that have available information. Results revealed that CRR negatively related to Return On Assets (-0.1133), Return On Equity (-0.0577) as well as Return On Investment (-0.0504). This means the bank's profitability declined due to the increase in cash reserve ratio (CRR). Again regression analysis outlined that the cash reserve ratio negatively impacts on the profitability of studied commercial banks in Bangladesh, which is statistically significant at the 10% level. Researchers proposed that Bangladeshi commercial banks will design their profitability plan by considering monetary policy tools, particularly the Cash reserve ratio.

Abstract: Everything has shifted online since the outbreak of the pandemic, from education to full-time jobs to health check-ups. What's important to remember here is that the majority of our day-to-day activities increasingly include making payments online. Although e-payment and e-banking solutions have been available for some time now, the pandemic has effectively compelled a huge portion of the urban and rural populations to use them. This research study aims to find out how widely epayment and e-banking systems are used and how they affect the user experience. Researchers have often been drawn to digital payment systems since they are a relatively new concept (the first digital payment system was only established in the 1990s). Over time, researchers have attempted to characterize the value of digital payment systems and what they represented for modern ecommerce, consumer personal finance, and economies around the world. According to the literature analyzed from many articles and research papers, digital payment is significantly more convenient than traditional paper currency. There has been a lot of studies done on the problems with digital payment systems (such as serious security issues and inaccessibility to these systems owing to low internet penetration), which pushes developers to keep working on these systems for the purpose of safer and faster transactions. According to several studies, online payment technology can cut costs, increase the number of consumers for a firm, improve customer-company interaction, and improve the company's image. This necessitates businesses providing a frictionless payment experience to their customers. In this research paper, a large amount of secondary data, as well as primary data acquired via survey, was utilized to highlight the paper's aims, type, and, most importantly, to analyze and interpret the data in order to better address the problem statement. We've come to the conclusion that electronic payment solutions have a huge impact on client satisfaction. Customers are increasingly turning to e-payment systems as a result of the pandemic's regular lockdowns, which have limited access to banks and conventional ATMs. While making online payments, consumers look for offers, rewards, discounts, and other incentives, which distinguish them from cash on delivery payments. Businesses (large and small) should make sure that their customers have a variety of ways to pay for goods and services (debit cards, credit cards, digital wallets, UPI, prepaid cards). Purpose & Summary of Study 1) Purpose ● To ascertain the extent to which e-payment systems are employed. ● To examine the impact of e-payment systems on customer satisfaction. ● To discuss issues surrounding e-payment systems. 2) Summary: The goal of this study is to find out how widely e-payment and e-banking technologies are used and how they affect the user experience. For the purposes of this study, a large amount of related literature, as well as primary data acquired by survey, was evaluated. Concerns about e-payment systems have also been raised. We noticed that the pandemic has driven a big number of people to utilize e-payment systems and that having a functional and seamless online payment experience is critical to attracting customers to all types of enterprises. Despite security concerns and a lack of access to faster internet connections, Indians are beginning to embrace online payment solutions. Keywords: E-payments, Credit Cards, Online Transactions, Cash Payment, E-Commerce, Customer Satisfaction, Debit Cards, Google-Pay, UPI Apps, Internet Banking

Although the background of the banking system goes back as far as 1933, Islamic finance isstill new in Afghanistan. The history of the firstfull-fledged Islamic bank began asrecently as 2018 with the conversion ofBakhtarBank, a conventional bank, to the IslamicBank of Afghanistan (IBA). There have been numerousstudies done worldwide, but no empiricalstudy has examined the subject of Islamic banking adoption in the specific context of Afghanistan. Therefore, this presentstudy investigatesthe adoption ofIslamic banking in Afghanistan, using a case study of Herat province, based on Rogers’ (1983) Diffusion of Innovation Theory, to determine the impact of awareness, productknowledge, religiosity, relativeadvantage, compatibility, and complexity on the adoption of Islamic banking. A quantitative approach to the stratified convenience sampling method was used in this study. Questionnaires were distributed to 334 bank customers and the responses analyzed using SPSS v22. The multiple regression analysis finding indicated that product knowledge, relative advantage, and religiosity significantly and positively influenced the adoption of Islamic banking. It is suggested that the government and financial institutions should support Islamic banking with beneficial policies and initiatives to enhance the knowledge of the public about the significance of Islamic banking activities.

Project 254 signed in November 2011 which is relating to “Restructuring the system of credit institutions in the period of 2011–2015” has been considered as a milestone in marking the Vietnamese government to prevent the influence of the financial crisis of 2008. This paper identifies hypotheses evaluating the impact of restructuring measurements on the risk of the Vietnamese’s commercial banks in 10 years, starting from 2008. Using the OLS regression method for analysis by running Eviews and ANOVA test in SPSS with a unique database of 216 observations of 31 commercial banks in Vietnam, it was found that: (i) The bail-out activities of the State Bank of Vietnam in 2015 does not influence on bank risk, (ii) The mergers and acquisitions (M&A) do not support the bank to reduce risk, it increases the risk for acquiring banks, (iii) The global crisis 2008 exerts dire consequence on the bank system in Vietnam, (iv) There is the difference of risk among the groups of the bank experiencing a different number of years of operation. Basing on this result, the paper also makes recommendations to the Government, The State Bank of Vietnam and the commercial banks for effective risk management toward the development of the Vietnamese banking system.

This paper investigates the inflationary impact of the various financing options for the federal government budget deficit which has accumulated overtime. Using Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) methodology and quarterly data over the period 2000Q1 to 2017Q2, the study found significant relationship between inflation and the current financing options of the Government. Overall, the result of our ARDL model affirm that the impact of fiscal spending in Nigeria on inflation is captured more in the short-run since none of the variables is significant in the long-run. In addition, the use of Banking System Financing to fund government deficits has better potentials as the optimal choice because its impact on inflation is insignificant. Federal Government Bonds as a tool for financing budget deficits is also considered an optimal choice because though it causes inflation to rise by the second quarter, but its impact on inflation is expected to fizzle out in the long-run. Ways and Means Advances on the other hand, was shown to have the highest inflationary impact and as such, its use as a tool for financing government deficit should be discouraged. We, therefore, recommend a couple of appropriate policy options for financing budget deficits in Nigeria namely monetary financing and the issuance of federal government bonds. On the policy side, more efficient public expenditure management. Capital market, co-financing arrangements with pension funds and issuance of project-tied bonds, would be beneficial.
