The neck and shoulders are the key channels for blood supply to the head. Bad blood circulation cannot only cause dizziness and headache but can also affect the vitality of brain cells and cognitive function. The neck muscles also provide all support for the head, and incorrect posture can put stress on the lower cervical vertebrae, accelerating joint wear and poor blood circulation, leading to hypoxia of neck muscle and tissue, and resulting in muscle fatigue and stiffness. Keeping the neck and shoulders rigid over an extended period, can produce neck and shoulder pain, dizziness and headache, and possibly even memory loss and short-term cognitive impairment, which can thus negatively impact learning ability and work efficiency. In this article, electromyography (EMG) characteristics were extracted through EMG analysis. Test subjects wore sensors while engaged in work or studying. The sensors retrieved EMG data which was then uploaded to a cloud-based platform for computation. A smartphone-based app then allowed users to monitor their own neck and shoulder fatigue in real time. Moreover, based on users' personal basic information, the system recommends personalized exercises to promote neck and shoulder relief, thus promoting comfort and reducing stress.

Insomnia, anxiety and stress are common complaints of people living today. Together, these factors can significantly reduce the quality of people's lives and disrupt relationships. Insomnia is a health problem connected with the difficulty falling asleep, waking early, waking during sleep, or poor quality of sleep, the consequences of which during the day are a feeling of being fatigue, reduced well-being, irritability, impaired concentration and learning ability. Anxiety is an emotional state related with anticipation of danger coming from the outside or coming from inside the organism, manifesting itself as feeling of uneasiness, tension, embarrassment, threat. Stress is a disturbance of body homeostasis caused by a physical or psychological factor. The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of  ashwagandha root extract in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and reducing stress. Our study material consisted of publications, which were found in PubMed, ResearchGate and Google Scholar databases. In order to find the proper publications, the search has been conducted with the use of a combination of key words like: ''ashawagandha'', ''insomnia'', ''anxiety'', ''stress". The first step was to find proper publications from the last 5 years. The second step was to carry out an overview of the found publications. Currently a lot of researches is being conducted to find natural substances that are just as effective as pharmacotherapy in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and reducing stress, but without the side effects. Some researchers have focused their attention to the ashwagandha root extract.  Results of mentioned studies proved the efficacy and safety of ashwagandha root extract. However, further research is needed to estabilish the role of ashwagandha root extract in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and reducing stress.

Recent work at this hospital (Thorpe and Baker, 1958) has suggested that schizophrenic patients tested one week after completing a course of twenty E.C.T.s do not show significantly more impairment in some psychological functions than similar patients treated with insulin coma or chlorpromazine therapies. This finding may come as a surprise to many, particularly in view of the fact that disorientation, memory loss, and confusion are frequently seen during the course of electrical treatment.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder secondary to traumatic brain injury (ADHD/TBI) is one of the most common neurobehavioral consequences of TBI, occurring in 20% to 50% of individuals post-injury. Some of the most persistent problems include impairment in memory, attention and concentration, language, executive skills, social judgment, social behavior, and impulsiveness.A female patient is presented with TBI and cognitive symptoms and behavior compatible with ADHD. The treatment with methylphenidate was useful for the behavioral problems. The 23 years old woman suffered 3 years earlier a car accident, causing severe TBI and polytrauma. She was in a coma with a CGS of 4 and 41 days in the intensive care unit. She received rehabilitation and continued to suffer from diplopia and posture alteration, semantic paraphasia, child-like behavior, and neuropsychological problems (reading comprehension, slow mental processing, inhibition control deficit, and memory loss).During her visits to my MHC, she was often euphoric and made inappropriate comments and occasionally became angry. She did not have psychiatric antecedents prior to the TBI. Scales were used to diagnose post-traumatic ADHD. The patient was then treated with methylphenidate. After titration, the dosage reached was 0,3 mg/kg. After 4 months, the child-like behavior disappeared and interpersonal relations became more fluid, with less irritability.Stimulants have frequently been used in the treatment of behavioral and cognitive consequences of TBI in both children and adults. This clinical case demonstrates that the use of methylphenidate is favored for an extended period of time in patients suffering from behavioral and emotional consequences of TBI.

Work Activity Centers in the United States have been very prone to let their clientele attempt to learn basic industrial tasks in group settings without the use of a controlled training procedure. The usual effects have been: (a) excessively long periods of skill acquisition, (b) high variability in production techniques, (c) substantial fluctuations in product quality, and (d) preferential opportunities for those whose learning ability was least severely impaired. This report is concerned with the acquisition of skills to perform a complex industrial task by seven profoundly retarded adults using a systematic training procedure. The task consisted of inserting six different colored game pawns into a poly-bag and placing the loaded bag in a finish bin. The method described was adopted after an extended period of observation during which substantial numbers of clients were found to be unable to acquire the requisite skills through any of the various non-systematized methods of presentation. The training procedure employed three phases. The first was based on a backward chaining format and took place in a designated training area with only the trainer and a single trainee present. The second phase was based on a total task presentation in the same setting; and the third continued the total task format in the production area of the Center. Each of the five individuals who completed the training has reached the established criterion for all three phases.

This article tackles the issue of "science and law" in the "risk society." by analyzing recent development of the ENvironmental Impact Assessment System in Korea. The conditions of uncertainty, ignorance and indeterminacy constitute a serious challenge to traditional conceptions of science as an arbiter of ultimate truth and authority. Current status of academic discussions of the issue shows that enhanced use of science in law, especially adoption of precautionary measures for better protection of environment and ecological diversity does not necessarily bring about successful outcome, either due to the political nature of scientific inquiry and knowledge or due to the scientific indeterminacy itself. More important than demystifying this imperfection of scientific knowledge, however, is often recognizing the way how the science is being handled at bar, at agency office or in parliament. Understanding dialectic of science, law and policy, so real truth about science in law is an indispensable prerequisite for our search for a new model of environmental law. Politics of law in dealing with "science and law" issues and other aspects of separation of power need to be therefore more realistically addressed before we proceed to reform the existing regime of environmental impact assessment. in this vein, the article emphasizes the crucial role of the court as a truth-finding forum embedded in a vitalized litigation culture, while it proposes a series of ideas as fundamentals for a new model of environmental law: optimization of science and law relationship, need for co-options in environmental lawmaking, devising and developing "environmental law with learning ability" through enhanced utilization of science, redistributing roles among various actors in polycentric context of environmental law and applying conflict resolution approach to environmental policy making.
