Cloud computing technologies although in their early stages, have managed to change the way applications are going to be developed and accessed. These technologies are aimed at running applications as services over the internet on a flexible infrastructure. Microsoft office applications, such as word processing, excel spreadsheet, access database and many more can be accessed through the internet, even though the files and applications are housed in the cloud. Cloud computing provides a low cost solution to academic institutions for their researchers, faculty and students. This setup provides an additional benefit because all these browser-based applications can also be accessed through mobile devices in addition to being available to a variety of laptop and desk top computers, provided internet access is available. In this paper we present a solution that is based on cloud computing and can be used for building a virtual environment both for teaching and learning. We present an interactive tool that can be used for science education; we combined various technologies to achieve this goal. The environment and the design proposed can also be used as a platform for exploring and sharing new ideas as well as for designing, modifying and monitoring educational or course contents. In our design under the same environment we also allow integration of different pedagogical approaches to both learning and teaching.

At the same time, the massive growth of social networking sites (SNS) among today’s college students is increasing the number of higher education instructors that are combining distance education delivery with SNS. To take advantage of cloud computing and social networking sites, this chapter presents an integrated solution that provides learners with a comprehensive and feature rich environment for building and utilizing applications and can be used for building a virtual environment both for teaching and learning. The authors present an interactive tool that can be used for science education; they combined various technologies to achieve this goal. The environment and the design proposed can also be used as a platform for exploring and sharing new ideas as well as for designing, modifying, and monitoring educational or course contents. Recent advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) provide an opportunity to build a self growing and sharing virtual environment for teaching and learning. Cloud computing is one of the latest technological advancement in ICT domain. Cloud computing technologies have changed the way applications are developed and accessed. A Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a system for delivering learning materials to students via the web. Cloud computing is provides one of the most emerging cost effective solution for virtual learning and teaching environment. This paper discusses how cloud computing has been contributing to virtual learning environment and an overview of the current state of the structure of Cloud Computing based e-learning is discussed. The readers will also find a brief overview of cloud computing and the different efficient cloud based virtual learning models. Towards the end different offers from different cloud vendors are discussed.

Abstrak: Teknologi modern semakin pesat perkembangannya, sebagai masyarakat kita dapat merasakan hal positif dari perkembangan teknologi modern, salah satunya adalah internet. Memanfaatkan internet dengan hal positif dapat mempermudah kegiatan masyarakat, seperti dalam bidang pendidikan salah satunya adalah kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dengan adanya kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat menambah wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan bagi masyarakat, akan tetapi terkadang pelajar bahkan pengajar yang melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar tersebut terlalu terkekang oleh waktu dan peraturan yang berlaku pada tempat belajarnya. Hasil permasalahan yang penulis dapatkan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar konvensional adalah diharuskannya meluangkan waktu untuk pergi ke tempat belajar dan juga ditentukan durasi belajar mengajarnya bahkan diadakan peraturan yang terkadang membuat peserta sampai pengajar tidak nyaman dengan peraturan tersebut. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan membuat sistem informasi pembelajaran (e-learning) dengan metode learner-led learning berbasis web yang dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun tanpa mengeluarkan biaya dan tidak terkekang oleh waktu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan nyaman. Website ini juga menyediakan fasilitas seperti materi yang bersifat video dan artikel yang bertujuan bagi pelajar yang lebih nyaman belajar dengan video interaktif dan juga tersedia fasilitas sertifikat sebagai bukti bahwa pelajar telah berhasil dalam menyelesaikan soal dari materi yang dipelajarinya.   Kata kunci: pelajar, pembelajaran daring, pengajar, sistem pembelajaran, website   Abstract: Modern technology is growing rapidly, as a society we can feel positive things from the development of modern technology, one of which is the internet. Using the internet with positive things can facilitate community activities, such as in the field of education, one of which is teaching and learning activities. With teaching and learning activities, it can add insight and knowledge to the community, but sometimes students and even teachers who carry out teaching and learning activities are too constrained by time and the regulations that apply to the place of study. The results of the problems that the authors get in conventional teaching and learning activities are that they are required to take the time to go to the place of study and also determine the duration of teaching and learning and even make regulations that sometimes make participants until the teacher is not comfortable with these rules. Therefore, the authors are interested in solving these problems by creating a learning information system (e-learning) with a web-based learner-led learning method that can be accessed anywhere and anytime without incurring costs and not being constrained by time. This research is expected to help in the teaching and learning process comfortably. This website also provides facilities such as video materials and articles aimed at making students more comfortable learning with interactive videos and certificate facilities are also available as evidence that students have succeeded in solving problems from the material they have studied.   Keywords: e-learning, learning system, student; teacher, website

SMK Swasta Priwisata Imelda Medan is one of the private vocational schools in Medan. Learning system at SMK Swasta Priwisata Imelda Medan still use manual system which means the teaching and learning process is still bound by the time the subjects are available and must meet face-to-face with subject teachers. Subject material in the SMK Swasta Pariwisata Imelda Medan is quite difficult so that teachers and students need a long time in teaching and learning. to support an effective learning system at SMK Swasta Pariwisata Imelda Medan needs to be made an e-learning based learning system that is e-learning. the author uses the php language, mysql, dreamweaver and Xampp Control Panel Version 2.5.8, to provide solutions in the process of learning and teaching at SMK Swasta Pariwisata Imelda Medan in order to facilitate students and teachers in teaching and learning without the time limit provided by the school

This article studies different ways of learning. Behavioral, cognitive, constructivist learning, multiple learning styles, e-learning, and brain-based learning are interrelated with each other and teachers should ensure that all students should be involved in all types of learning styles to get learning outcomes. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced governments around the world to implement policies to limit face-to-face meetings with community activities. This makes community activities carried out virtually. It also happens in the education system, teaching and learning activities which are usually carried out in classes face to face, this time has to use the internet as a learning medium. E-learning environments create lessons interactive. Knowledge is integrated from many different sources when students are learning something. The result of this study by analyzed ways of learning is five learning approaches. The stages of learning approaches are student to be active, engaged in the learning process, increase previous knowledge, explore the situation, and be motivated. Nevertheless, the use of the internet for learning or e-learning also cannot be separated from various deficiency and emerging issues within the higher education context.

The last three decades have witnessed the phenomenal growth of the Internet as a medium for teaching and learning in higher education. Yet educational systems have done little to gain a better understanding of how these methods affect the nature and level of student engagement. Although there is a rapidly growing literature on the use of the Internet for teaching and learning purposes, there is relatively little literature and associated research on effective Pedagogical approaches to web-based instruction. This chapter starts by outlining the advantages and disadvantages of using the web for teaching in the context of higher education. One aspect of the disadvantages that is addressed in this chapter is the dilemma that Online learning and teaching pose for decision-makers, educators and students with regard to the implementation of Pedagogical approaches aimed at enhancing critical thinking and metacognitive skills.

Cloud Computing (CC) becames the most promising technology to reach the advanced educational services, because it essentially provides a huge computing and storage capacities. Cloud computing provides reliable and tailored dynamic computing environments for education services. On the other side, e-learning has been realized as an efficient way of learning. The increasing number of students, services, education contents and resource as well as the way of adapting e-learning becomes problematic. As a potential technology to overcome the problems in e-learning, this study explores the potntial impacts and the measure of how the educational services can be benefited by cloud. For that purpose the study attampt to adapt a proposed framework for virtual learning system in an extended cloud computing environment. This framework can be applied everywhere where there is a need for intensive teaching and learning in higher education. The applied case study findings of implementing the proposed framework equate the study expectations, where the students satisfaction significantly increased compared with the existing system

Abstract The internet can be made as a way to transfer knowledge from lecturers to students, while Learning that utilizes the internet is one of the E-Learning Learning media. E-learning is distance learning that utilizes computer technology or computer networks or the Internet E-learning, so that it can enable the learning process through computers in their respective places without having to physically go to attend classes or lectures in class, Systems e-learning learning is a new way of teaching and learning. E-learning as a special learning media PAI courses provide a very important role and a large function in the course because so far there are many shortcomings and weaknesses such as the limitations of space and time in the teaching and learning process through E-learning which prioritizes the efficiency of learning so students get full teaching even though they do not have to be face to face, can also be accessed anywhere, anytime, according to the assignments given by the lecturer usually scheduled with a specified deadline. The development of education towards e-learning is a must so that the quality standards of education can be improved, E-learning is one of the uses of internet technology in the delivery of learning and its broad reach. E-learning  sebagai   media pembelajaran khususnya mata kuliah PAI memberikan  peran   sangat   penting  dan fungsi yang besar pada mata kuliah tersebut karena selama  ini terdapat banyak  kekurangan  dan kelemahan seperti keterbatasan ruang dan waktu dalam  proses belajar  mengajar melalui E-learning yang  mengedepankan keefisienan dalam belajar sehingga  mahasiswa mendapat pengajaran yang penuh meski tidak harus bertatap muka, juga bisa di akses di mana saja, kapan saja,  sesuai dengan tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen biasanya terjadwal dengan  batas  waktu  yang  di tentukan. Pengembangan  pendidikan menuju e-learning merupakan suatu keharusan agar standar mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan,  E-learning merupakan salah satu penggunaan teknologi internet dalam penyampaian  pembelajaran  serta  jangkauannya yang luas. E-learning  juga dapat menjadi jawaban dari suatu permasalahan kesehatan yaitu Pandemi Corona (Covid-19) ini yang sangat berpengaruh juga pada setiap aspek kehidupan terutama bidang pendidikan.Kata kunci  :  Keefektifitas, Pemanfaatan, Pendidikan Agama Islam,  E-Learning, Covid 19.

Learning becomes very flexible, because it can be adjusted to the availability of time from students in learning the material provided by the teacher.The teacher determines the success of students in learning, therefore teachers are required to have the ability to adapt to technological progress.
