The use of existing and emerging technologies in teaching and learning provides the opportunity to present subject-area content using devices, programs, and venues in ways that promote higher-order thinking and long-term retention. In the last decade, advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have resulted in the development of virtual reality programs that enable end-users to interact with content in third and fourth-dimensional interactive spaces (i.e., extended reality or XR). The transformation beyond traditional face-to-face or two-dimensional teaching and learning has resulted in an unforeseen digital side effect. The digital side effect presents in the form of deepfakes or the deliberate alteration of audio and visual content to advance a specific point of view. The premise of this chapter is to present a primer using the technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) and levels of use construct to mitigate the presence of deepfake and malinformation in subject-area content when working in XR environments.

Pyrazoles are known as versatile scaffolds in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry, often used as starting materials for the preparation of more complex heterocyclic systems with relevance in the pharmaceutical field. Pyrazoles are also interesting compounds from a structural viewpoint, mainly because they exhibit tautomerism. This phenomenon may influence their reactivity, with possible impact on the synthetic strategies where pyrazoles take part, as well as on the biological activities of targets bearing a pyrazole moiety, since a change in structure translates into changes in properties. Investigations of the structure of pyrazoles that unravel the tautomeric and conformational preferences are therefore of upmost relevance. 3(5)-Aminopyrazoles are largely explored as precursors in the synthesis of condensed heterocyclic systems, namely pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines. However, the information available in the literature concerning the structure and chemistry of 3(5)-aminopyrazoles is scarce and disperse. We provide a revision of data on the present subject, based on investigations using theoretical and experimental methods, together with the applications of the compounds in synthesis. It is expected that the combined information will contribute to a deeper understanding of structure/reactivity relationships in this class of heterocycles, with a positive impact in the design of synthetic methods, where they take part.

With development of internet technology, mobile-learning models began to be developed. M-learning is a conventional form of learning as outlined in digital format through internet technology. This system can be used in distance learning or conventional learning. Therefore developing this model does not merely present subject matter to the internet but needs to be considered logically and holds the principles of learning. Likewise, the development design that is simple, personal, and fast, and the element of entertainment will make students feel convenience studying in front of the internet as if they were learning in class.

The existing data sharing systems relates with the on-line social networks (OSNs) suggest encoding of information before sharing, the multiparty get to the executives of scrambled information has turned into a troublesome issue. A safe information sharing subject proposed in OSNs upheld figure content approach trait based and Elliptic Curve Cryptography algorithmic principle re-encryption and mystery sharing. The work relates the gatekeeper clients' delicate information grants clients to redo get to approaches of their information thus source scrambled information to the OSNs administration provider. The proposed technique displays a multiparty get to the executive’s model that enables the communicator to refresh the entrance strategy of figure content. The characteristics fulfill the common access strategy. The work needs a fractional mystery composing development inside which the calculation overhead of client is essentially diminished by strengthening the vast majority of the mystery composing activities to the OSNs administration provider. Moreover, the check capacity on the outcomes originated from the OSNs administration provider to guarantee the rightness of fractional decoded figure content. The present subject partner affordable properties disavowal philosophy that accomplishes each forward and in reverse mystery. The insurance and execution examination results demonstrate that the arranged subject is secure and efficient in OSNs.

Abstract Despite the express intentions of his phenomenological investigations, the radical significance of Edmund Husserl’s discussions of signs and meaning may reside in their exposure of the ways in which language remains structurally alien to the field of subjectivity and cognition. If this would mean that a phenomenological theory of cognition could not guide the study of literary language, however, fiction may nonetheless turn out to be one of the most important sources for phenomenological »Erkenntnis«, albeit in a different way than Husserl could have meant in his famous affirmation of fiction in phenomenological research: as the exposure of its limits, and as the further explication of a field where, as Jacques Derrida would write, »every present subject can be absent.« This possibility is explored in the present contribution through an analysis of Robert Musil’s Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften.

The internet can be used as a way to transfer knowledge from teachers to students. Learning that utilizes the development of technology and information, namely the internet, one of which is the e-learning learning system. E-learning is a form of conventional learning that is transferred in digital format through internet technology, not only to present subject matter on the internet but also must be in accordance with the principles of learning. The e-learning learning model results in changes in learning culture in the context of learning. Learning becomes very flexible, because it can be adjusted to the availability of time from students in learning the material provided by the teacher. The teacher determines the success of students in learning, therefore teachers are required to have the ability to adapt to technological progress. Keywords: ICT,e-learning, e-learning learning

In Arabic learning, al-Ashwat plays an essential role because al-Ashwat or phonetic is a crucial element in every language. If al-Ashwat is not well understood, Arabic proficiency cannot be mastered perfectly. Often there will be a lack of understanding in the language process. So that the communication process will also be hampered. Learning methods are a way or means to present subject matter. With learning, the approach can simplify and accelerate the learning process towards understanding. There are at least two learning methods that pay attention to the teaching of sound language, including Phonetic Method and Mim-mem Method which is better known as an Audio-Lingual Method.

This essay argues that William Gibson’s 2003 novel, Pattern Recognition, rejects the stylistic and formal trappings of cyberpunk that he himself helped create in the 1980s in order to reformulate the movement’s aesthetics of participation for the 21st Century. This participatory aesthetic is structured by a set of temporal concerns: A past made ever more available through information technology and yet ever more materially irrecoverable, a present subject to increasingly rapid change and therefore briefer and more difficult to interpret, and a bleak future of inevitable capitalist commodification. Within this temporal vortex, Gibson’s protagonist finds compensatory solace in her ability to see patterns and thus develop strategies by which to value objects and people in new ways. She learns how to care, and what to care for. From this analysis of Pattern Recognition, the essay tracks this aesthetic into Guerrilla Games’ 2017 Horizon: Zero Dawn—a popular entry in a medium that promises participatory involvement on a new scale.

(With the present article it is suggested an assessment to legality and lawfulness of the growing international practice of targeted killings, most of them justified within the context of the fight against terrorism by different countries. To this end, it is made a general historical and political framework regarding the evolution of the adoption of actions concerning targeted killings as well as the legal context according to which a person can be deprived of his/her life. Thereby, and considering the standards laid down in international law rules currently in force and also the most relevant jurisprudence and doctrine that deal with the present subject or that, at some extent, provide important means to support the present research, the two current official models of armed conflicts are dissected on this article. The same goes to the third model which is supported by a minimum number of States and takes into account the elimination of all basic rights to persons suspect of being involved in terrorist acts (committed or to be committed). Thus, a critical analysis is set along the present article which will come to the conclusion that targeted killings are unlawful and, consequently, contravene international law. Therefore, an alternative is suggested according to which terrorists shall be considered civilians unless five requirements are met.)
