Aiming to improve the rural vernacular indoor thermal conditions in winter and achieve the energy-saving objective 65%, the traditional local-style dwelling houses are investigated and the energy consumption of exterior-protected constructions is analyzed in Ningxia. The vulnerable spot of building energy consumption is found, while we discuss the shortage of traditional local-style dwelling houses in construction and design. Based on the social economic conditions of Ningxia, we put forward the improvement design of rural dwelling construction. Meanwhile, we analyze and calculate the thermal engineering performance of new construction design, which demonstrated that the scheme is reasonable and effective.

The traditional local-style dwelling houses are investigated and the energy consumption of exterior-protected constructions is analyzed in Ningxia, aiming to improve the rural vernacular indoor thermal conditions in winter and achieve the energy-saving objective 65%. Meanwhile, the vulnerable spot of building energy consumption is found. Starting from the architectural function and space organization, solar-energy resources using and exterior-protected construction and so on, the integrated scheme improvement is put forward under the local natural climate and economic conditions. In addition, we deal with the tests of new scheme thermal engineering performance and indoor thermal environmental quality through the analysis of energy consumption. Finally, it is demonstrated that by reasonable design, the rural vernacular building in Ningxia can improve indoor thermal comfort and energy saving goal.

Thinking over sustainability: a reflection over Agenda 21 Abstract This paper is about a reflection that allows us to subsidise policie advanced which sketch emancipated actions. In the last decades, the environmental degradation has increased to intolerable levels, characterized by different stages of economic development and human action, leading us to believe that real and effective measures have to be taken to articulate the growth of the social economic conditions with sustainabillity. One of the theoretical practical ways concerns the introduction of Agenda 21 which contemplates rules and principles to implement local and regional actions.

Measure the temperature of exterior window and surrounding walls’ inner surface, and measure interior air temperature to analyze the effect, which was brought to building energy consumption and interior thermal conditions by the exterior window of the building; studied several details of exterior window design, and proposes a method, which is separately controlling the heat-transfer coefficient according to different orientation, room’s positions and room’s functions while designing the exterior windows, in order to improve the interior thermal conditions and reduce energy consumption of the residential buildings.

ABSTRACTIn the light of recent theological controversies, the Anglican Communion urgently needs what Archbishop Rowan Williams has described as an ‘agreement over a common accountability’. Such an agreement must differentiate the things that define the essence of the Anglican Church from those that merely imparta distinctive cultural flavour. It will be built on a nuanced theological debate involving questions of self-definition that recognize the social, economic, political and cultural contexts enveloping the Communion's various national churches. In the same way that social structures and economic conditions bear directly upon the shape of religious organizations, it will become apparent that political pressures and cultural mores influence doctrinal commitments. The church-sect-mystic group typology developed by Ernst Troeltsch has the potential to help the Anglican Communion understand the origins of its theological diversity as part of a larger project that seeks to maintain corporate identity and to preserve organizational unity. His attempts to define the ‘essence of Christianity’ in the context of what might otherwise seem random, chaotic and possibly irreconcilable responses to Christ's teaching offers some interpretative insights that will assist Anglicans achieve a consensus on which ‘agreement over a common accountability’ might be based.

The dependence of intensity of the night lighting of Ukrainian territory (DMSP/OLS satellite data) on quantity of population, were estimate the social-economic conditions and it changing in the particular areas from 1992 to 2012 years. On the obtained data were done ranking of the Ukrainian areas on social-economic conditions. Obtained data was confirmed with statistical information about changing of the urban and rural population number. It shows that the satellite data DMSP/OLS can be used for monitoring and express assessment of changes in economic and socials fields of particular areas.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the social economic conditions of street vendors around the Gentala Arasy bridge. The sample of this research was 44 respondents's experiments. The variables in this study are age, education level, working hours, and capital. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used is the coefficient of determination test and hypothesis test simultaneously. The results obtained from this study include socio-economic street vendors age, education level, and capital proven to increase, only the working hours variable is not increased. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination in this study are all statement items have a valid or significant status because the value of t count > t table with the value of R2 Square (0.348) and the results of the hypothesis test show items that correspond to high reliability with a value (0.270a < 0.05)

The study and design of energy conservation has gradually become a hot and key issue in architecture. One of the core contents of such concepts as green architecture, ecological architecture, sustainable architecture, organic architecture is how to reduce high energy consumption of buildings. The study of building energy conservation has been carried out in subjects of architectural thermal engineering and energy conservation for almost 30 years. The central and local governments have set up special management agencies and departments of building energy conservation; building research institutes at all levels and numerous universities have set up research institutions for study of building energy conservation and issued a series of policies and regulations and technical standards, which received an enthusiastic response from industrial circles and have produced tens of billions of production. However, more than 95% of the existing buildings and more than 80% of new buildings of China belong to those with high energy consumption. The paper tries to interpret the deep reason of the phenomenon from the aspects of society, technology, etc. for discussion of researchers in the field of architectural thermal engineering and energy conservation.

Most of the people who live in coastal villages are fishermen and are very dependent on marine resources and coastal ecosystems. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic conditions of coastal communities that exploit the potential of the coast in Batui District, Banggai District. This research was conducted in the coastal area of Batui District, Central Sulawesi Province. Data were collected by means of surveys and interviews. The data analysis was done qualitatively and descriptively. The social conditions of the coastal communities in Batui District mostly live on the coast with less dense population density. The aspect of education shows that the average coastal community with a Bachelor degree is 40% with the human development index (HDI) in the medium category. It is seen from the economic condition that the livelihoods of the coastal communities in Batui District are dependent on the fishery sector, namely partly as fishermen. The fishing gear and fishing fleet used for fisheries in the research location are small-scale fisheries. Keywords coastal communities, small-cale fisherie, capture fisheries and Batui District

This study aims to determine the social, economic and welfare level of oil palm farmer households in Tulang Bawang Regency. The study was conducted in August 2017. The research sample was 54 farmers who are divided into two categories, namely 46 farmers of narrow land and 8 farmers of wide land.  The data is analyzed by qualitative description.  The level of well-being is measured by socio-metric indicators.  The results of the study showed that the average farmer respondents in the study area either of narrow land or wide land had good social categories conditions. Income earned by farmers from oil palm farming of narrow land was Rp29,941,900 / year with a contribution of  83.87% and of labor was 3.91% from the available 329 men working day/year.  Farmers of the wide area had earned Rp86,165,100/year from oil palm farming with a contribution of 94.65% and of labor was 19.82% of the 329 men working day/year.  The level of welfare showed that both of  narrow land and large land were in the category of not poor.Key words: economic conditions, oil palm, social conditions, welfare
