Modern identification technologies such as radio-frequency identification, or RFID, have become increasingly important for streamlining production and logistics operations in almost every industry. In steel industrial enterprise, there is many logistic information which is still collected manually. It brings out many disadvantages such as inaccurate logistics information, irregular logistics, be lasted feedback and so on. In this paper, presents the feasibility of deploying RFID for the steel industry as a tool to reduce the production costs. Steel industry that is applicable to RFID-based tracking management system is proposed. And basically small and medium-sized steel industries, reflecting the characteristics of the building systems and by allowing for faster application time, while minimizing the capital investment.

After a full analysis of the principle and general structure of Medicine Distribution Center (MDC), this paper researches the application of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in MDC. The MDC adopts the RFID as the support platform, covering the medicines’ entry, picking, checking, delivery and many other operation flows. The paper also constructs a new medicine-distribution mode and its information system model in accordance with GPS (global positioning system), GIS (geographical information system) and routing optimization technology. The MDC can collect, deliver, check, and update mass data on the medicines’ entry and delivery, the labor intensity being decreased. Fault scanning, miss scanning, re-scanning and other artificial errors have been avoided, and the efficiency and accuracy improved.

In order to remedy the deficiency of application of bar code that needs artificial intervention in automotive manufacture, we propose a solution to integrate Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system in the original enterprise information system based on Web service. Distributed real-time data of welding, lacquer covering and assembly workshops in the automotive manufacture are collected, that are used in the enterprise information system to provide more productions information for management. Firstly, the architecture of integrating the RFID system and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in automotive manufacture is given, that is focused on the RFID system network, the Middleware and the Application Gateway. Finally, web service implementation is designed to integrate RFID system in enterprise information system.

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus has exposed many problems in the auxiliary information system for epidemic prevention and control, which needs to be resolved by using methods such as the antitampering of logistics data and the management and control of epidemic materials. This article discusses the introduction of emerging technologies such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), which support privacy protection into the auxiliary information system for epidemic prevention and control. Recently, this paper found that Khwaja et al.’s protocol (RAPUS protocol) is susceptible to database impersonation attacks and reader impersonation attacks. Therefore, this article proposes the enhanced protocol, which not only perfectly solves the problems of the abovementioned protocols but also comprehensively compares multiple protocols. The enhanced protocol has higher efficiency and security. The security of the proposed protocol (RAPUS + protocol) is analyzed by GNY logic and the AVISPA model. The designed scheme can help realize the safety and traceability of epidemic prevention materials and improve the automation and decision-making efficiency of the epidemic prevention.

Information systems and technology are currently developing rapidly, so computers can beused as security tools automatically with the addition of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)technology. Sattahti security personnel in the detention room are required to always be ready to carryout security, supervision within the scope of the detention room. So far, Sattahti personnel inconducting surveillance and guarding detainees in and out of the room still use padlock locks so thatsecurity is less than the maximum, meeting SOP standards so that some detainees have a chance toescape, so that Sattahti personnel cannot properly monitor prisoners because there is no regulatingsystem detention rooms are better IT-based. Based on the above problems, it is necessary to designand build a detention room security information system using RFID technology. So that every sattahtipersonnel can be accessed in the security system information system database of the detention room. This is very helpful for sattahti personnel in the process of guarding detainees. This system can do anautomatic lock along with the time for each personnel who bring prisoners in and out of the detentionroom, by using serial communication from a personal computer (PC) to a microcontroller (reader RFIDstater kit ID-12 LA) so that it will read the identity card (tag) RFID) every person. This detention roomsecurity information system is useful to accelerate and facilitate personnel in changing duty pickets tothe next personnel regarding the whereabouts of all the strength of the prison guard personnel atSATTAHTI.Keywords: Information on detention room security, RFID

Mass deployment of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology is now becoming feasible for a wide variety of applications ranging from medical to supply chain and retail environments. Its main draw-back until recently was high production costs, which are now becoming lower and acceptable. But due to inherent constraints of RFID technology (in terms of limited power and computational resources) these devices are the subject of intensive research on how to support and improve increasing demands for security and privacy. This chapter therefore focuses on security and privacy issues by giving a general overview of the field, the principles, the current state of the art, and future trends. An improvement in the field of security and privacy solutions for this kind of wireless communications is described as well.

This contribution examines solutions how Information Quality (IQ) dimensions as a framework along with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and the Electronic Product Code Information System (EPCIS) as tools may improve needed drug trackability and traceability capabilities in the pharmaceutical industry (PI). For years counterfeit drugs have been impacting the industry and putting patients' health in danger. We analyze applications, methods and practices in the improvement of the quality of drug tracking and tracing. The potential of IQ, RFID, EPCIS and related applications and technologies suggest and design corresponding information and materials flows. This research presents examinations, reviews and recommendations and utilizes two theoretical frameworks: Transaction Cost Theory and Collective Action Theory. This setting may be viewed as a large, complex and international web of corporations, legislation, regulatory efforts, compliance regimes, manufacturers, wholesalers, pharmacies, importers as well as rapidly advancing technologies and applications.
