The development of oil&gas steel products in Baosteel in the past two decades is reviewed. After years of R&D works of steel products used in energy industry such as drilling, exploitation, collection, transportation, and storage of oil and gas, the alloy system and manufacturing processes of oil&gas steel products have been established in Baosteel. The oil&gas steel products of Baosteel consist of two major categories, i.e. the Oil Country Tubular Goods used in underground service, and the pipes used for pipeline construction on the ground. Currently, the product quality has been maintained stable, and the involved products have been extensively used in worldwide oil&gas exploration and transportation industry.

After Finding the oil & gas occurrences in the subsurface using various methods and tools that were available in Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. Further reaching the reservoir and taking out the Oil & Gas from those to the surface the fuel have to transport and store to get purify for supply to the required user. Here the Midstream peoples plays a vital role in it. The drilled Oil and Gas have to transport from the occurrence to the destination Refinery so it have to be planned well and many safety procedure have to be done to avoid any problem in those transportation and after transporting to the destination it must be maintained in perfect temperature condition and perfect storage tanks either above the ground or the underground .Again there are some safety procedures to be followed which were approved by the Government safety norms. This article deal about the process and procedures in transporting and storage of fuels from upstream to midstream to downstream .Also about the safety precaution and procedure to be followed to have a safe storage and handling.


Subject Assessing the threat from militant Islamist agendas. Significance Low-scale attacks attributed locally as militant Islamist activity have been increasing over the past two years, and have spiked in the past four months with incidents in Tanga and Morogoro. They suggest that the level of organisation amongst domestic militant Islamist groups may be growing. Impacts Potential plans for the liquefied natural gas plant in Lindi Region may focus a militant threat against the energy industry. Onshore oil and gas operations, as well as government facilities, could also be potential targets. As the top export earner, tourism would be affected by any heightened threat level leading to travel advisories.

Emergency cases, complications, maximum energetic cost, human and material expenses, negative impact on the environment in the oil-gas production taking place in the system “ well – oil and gas collection” are predominantly associated with the multiphase and multicomponent well production. Considering the research results of recent years, we can mark that in the view of hydraulic properties of the flows and interactions of seperate phases, currently are formed multiphase technologies, on the basis of which solution of various issues and increase of efficiency of technological processes in production, collection, transportation and storage of oil and gas becomes possible. The paper reviews the perspectives of solution of few issues of oil-gas production using multiphase technologies, on the basis of which the phase interaction lies. Some problems of oil-gas production, the solution of which becomes possible with multiphase technologies are noted as well.

This paper presents the highlights of the third annual edition of the BP Energy Outlook, which sets out BP’s view of the most likely developments in global energy markets to 2030, based on up-to-date analysis and taking into account developments of the past year. The Outlook’s overall expectation for growth in global energy demand is to be 36% higher in 2030 than in 2011 and almost all the growth coming from emerging economies. It also reflects shifting expectations of the pattern of supply, with unconventional sources — shale gas and tight oil together with heavy oil and biofuels — playing an increasingly important role and, in particular, transforming the energy balance of the US. While the fuel mix is evolving, fossil fuels will continue to be dominant. Oil, gas and coal are expected to converge on market shares of around 26—28% each by 2030, and non-fossil fuels — nuclear, hydro and renewables — on a share of around 6—7% each. By 2030, increasing production and moderating demand will result in the US being 99% self-sufficient in net energy. Meanwhile, with continuing steep economic growth, major emerging economies such as China and India will become increasingly reliant on energy imports. These shifts will have major impacts on trade balances.

Globalisation combined with resources of oil and gas has led to an industrial society in Malaysia.  For the past 30 years, rapid urban growth has shifted from 73% rural to 73% urban population. However, the peak oil crisis and economic issues are threatening the growth of urbanisation and influencing the trends of population mobility. This paper documents the beginnings of a reverse migration (urban-to-rural) in Malaysia.  The method adopted case study that involves questionnaires with the urban migrants to establish the desires, definite intentions and reasons for future migration. Based on this data, it predicts a trend and rate of reverse migration in Malaysia.

Background: Application of chitin attracts much attention in the past decades as the second abundant polysaccharides in the world after cellulose. Chitin oligosaccharides (CTOS) and its deacetylated derivative chitosan oligosaccharides (COS) were shown great potentiality in agriculture by enhancing plant resistance to abiotic or biotic stresses, promoting plant growth and yield, improving fruits quality and storage, etc. Those applications have already served huge economic and social benefits for many years. However, the recognition mode and functional mechanism of CTOS and COS on plants have gradually revealed just in recent years. Objective: Recognition pattern and functional mechanism of CTOS and COS in plant together with application status of COS in agricultural production will be well described in this review. By which we wish to promote further development and application of CTOS and COS–related products in the field.
