This paper is based on a coal winning machine cutting part simulation project cooperated with a mining machinery group. Because of coal winning machine actual working environment is very bad, the objects’ physical and mechanical properties are quite uncertain, coal winning machine output shaft bearing vulnerable to damage, so choose the right bearing is very important. In this paper, the output shaft bearings’ stress is calculated by Matlab and the concrete working condition is analysed, mainly to bearing life, as a supplement to clearance, precision, and price and so on, then the types of the output shaft is determined. In the Visual C6.0 integrated development environment, judge principles can be translated into the computer program statements and input them into the MFC software to create roller bearing selecting Expert System. Friendly interface realizes a direct and fast man-machine dialogue in Visual C6.0, and you can find the suitable bearing type quickly by inputing bearings’ basic parameters in the environment which under the control of the process of reasoning.

To make the right decisions regarding the purchase or sale of financial assets the definition of the nature of the securities market is required. Existing methods of evaluation of the state securities market does not fully take into account the probability distribution of the states and fuzzy-multiple description of the character of securities market. For the efficient operation of the securities market new methods of analysis and forecasting of its state are required. In this paper we propose a fuzzy-multiple algorithm to evaluate the character of the securities market. This algorithm contains the operations of fuzzy sets theory. The fuzzy of the character of the securities market manifests itself in the «blur» of the boundaries of its varieties. The expert system of a fuzzy conclusion is developed for an estimation of the character of the securities market. In this article the expert system of fuzzy inference was developed for a fuzzy assessment of the character of the securities market. As instrumental development environment a system of computer mathematics Mathcad was used. For the characteristics of the market RTS Index was used. Developed expert system allows to enter specific values of the input indicators to obtain an estimate of the character of the securities market. The use of this expert system allows system users to resolve uncertainty when making decisions, to navigate the situation on the securities market and make the right decisions regarding the purchase or sale of financial assets. Developed in the work of the expert system was applied for the case volatility market.

The most valuable assets in every scientific community are the expert work force and the research results/data produced. The last decade has seen new experimental and computational techniques developing at an ever-faster pace, encouraging the production of ever-larger quantities of data in ever-shorter time spans. Concurrently the traditional scientific working environment has changed beyond recognition. Today scientists can use a wide spectrum of experimental, computational and analytical facilities, often widely distributed over the UK and Europe. In this environment new challenges are posed for the Management of Data every day, but are we ready to tackle them? Do we know exactly what the challenges are? Is the right technology available and is it applied where necessary? This part of enabling technologies investigates current hardware techniques and their functionalities and provides a comparison between various products.

High quality of the soldering process can be achieved with the right choice of the necessary soldering materials. Since wetting determines the further nature of the connection between the solder and the main soldering material, the contact angle  measurement  is the basis for quality control of soldering materials, provided that the basic requirements of the technological process. The determination of the contact angle value is carried out by the indirect method of the sessile drop, by measuring the basic parameters of the drop using infrared transducer. A smaller value of the contact angle corresponds to a better interaction of materials, and hence a better electrical contact

The presented paper gives an overview of the most important and most common theories and concepts from the economic field of organisational change and is also enriched with quantitative publication data, which underlines the relevance of the topic. In particular, the topic presented is interwoven in an interdisciplinary way with economic psychological models, which are underpinned within the models with content from leading scholars in the field. The pace of change in companies is accelerating, as is technological change in our society. Adaptations of the corporate structure, but also of management techniques and tasks, are therefore indispensable. This includes not only the right approaches to employee motivation, but also the correct use of intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors. Based on the hypothesis put forward by the scientist and researcher Rollinson in his book “Organisational behaviour and analysis” that managers believe motivational resources are available at all times, socio-economic and economic psychological theories are contrasted here in order to critically examine this statement. In addition, a fictitious company was created as a model for this work in order to illustrate the effects of motivational deficits in practice. In this context, the theories presented are applied to concrete problems within the model and conclusions are drawn about their influence and applicability. This led to the conclusion that motivation is a very individual challenge for each employee, which requires adapted and personalised approaches. On the other hand, the recommendations for action for supervisors in the case of motivation deficits also cannot be answered in a blanket manner, but can only be solved with the help of professional, expert-supported processing due to the economic-psychological realities of motivation. Identifying, analysing and remedying individual employee motivation deficits is, according to the authors, a problem and a challenge of great importance, especially in the context of rapidly changing ecosystems in modern companies, as motivation also influences other factors such as individual productivity. The authors therefore conclude that good motivation through the individual and customised promotion and further training of employees is an important point for achieving important corporate goals in order to remain competitive on the one hand and to create a productive and pleasant working environment on the other.

The integration of two of the biggest giants in the computing world has resulted in the development and advancement of new methodologies in data processing. Cognitive computing and big data analytics are integrated to give rise to advanced technologically sound algorithms like MOIWO and NSGA. There is an important role played by the E-projects portfolio selection (EPPS) issue in the web development environment that is handled with the help of a decision making algorithm based on big data. The EPPS problem tackles choosing the right projects for investment on the social media in order to achieve maximum return at minimal risk conditions. In order to address this issue and further optimize EPPS probe on social media, the proposed work focuses on building a hybrid algorithm known as NSGA-II-MOIWO. This algorithms makes use of the positive aspects of MOIWO algorithm and NSGA-II algorithm in order to develop an efficient one. The experimental results are recorded and analyzed in order to determine the most optimal algorithm based on the return and risk of investment. Based on the results, it is found that NSGA-II-MOIWO outperforms both MOIWO and NSGA, proving to be a better hybrid alternative.

Marketing of library services varies from one environment to another. This chapter discusses the kind of strategies that a librarian manning a university library in Africa needs to come up with to realize a successful marketing programme. The limited resources and an adverse working environment characteristic of the African situation are highlighted. It is observed that a successful marketer is one who has the right personal qualities, sensitive to the needs of the users, knowledgeable about the product, and promoting it with passion. The chapter also looks at issues that affect the marketing capabilities of academic libraries in Africa. It concludes that academic libraries in Africa have very tight budgets, and most cannot afford to earmark any funds towards marketing their services. The chapter is significant in that not much literature is available for marketing of academic libraries in an African setting, and it provides some solutions that can be applied without extra funding. Students in Africa rely on mobile phones and social networking sites to communicate, and it is recommended that the use of social media for marketing can be very effective in Africa today
