AbstractThe development of sodium-ion (SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) has increased rapidly because of the abundant resources and cost-effectiveness of Na and K. Antimony (Sb) plays an important role in SIBs and PIBs because of its high theoretical capacity, proper working voltage, and low cost. However, Sb-based anodes have the drawbacks of large volume changes and weak charge transfer during the charge and discharge processes, thus leading to poor cycling and rapid capacity decay. To address such drawbacks, many strategies and a variety of Sb-based materials have been developed in recent years. This review systematically introduces the recent research progress of a variety of Sb-based anodes for SIBs and PIBs from the perspective of composition selection, preparation technologies, structural characteristics, and energy storage behaviors. Moreover, corresponding examples are presented to illustrate the advantages or disadvantages of these anodes. Finally, we summarize the challenges of the development of Sb-based materials for Na/K-ion batteries and propose potential research directions for their further development.

Manganese lithium cobalt compounds have been used in the preparation of lithium battery cathode material because of its excellent electrochemical characteristics and gradually in recent years. This paper introduces the different methods of preparing the compounds, analyzes the structural characteristics of the manganese cobalt lithium compounds and the differences in the electrochemical properties, the end of the article has carried on the forecast to the future development direction of the compound.

Gorgonian corals, which belong to the genus Eunicella, are known as natural sources of diverse compounds with unique structural characteristics and interesting bioactivities both in vitro and in vivo. This review is focused primarily on the secondary metabolites isolated from various Eunicella species. The chemical structures of 64 compounds were divided into three main groups and comprehensively presented: a) terpenoids, b) sterols, and c) alkaloids and nucleosides. The observed biological activities of depicted metabolites with an impact on cytotoxic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activities were reviewed. The most promising biological activities of certain metabolites point to potential candidates for further development in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and other industries, and are highlighted. Total synthesis or the synthetic approaches towards the desired skeletons or natural products are also summarized.

Web archive is an important technology in the field of data storage and Internet applications. Over the years, many countries have developed various system and prototype. The archive strategy is one of the key elements in Web archive. This paper review the storage strategies developed by several international projects, focusing on the analysis of the four strategies: archiving with external index, archiving with multi- master, format migration archiving, and characteristic described archiving. After summing up the advantages and disadvantages of these strategies, the proposals on the development direction and research content of archive strategy are given at the end of the article.

The asphalt pavement is the mainstream pavement structure of the expressway in our country. But it is investigated that rutting disease appeared even though the asphalt mixture was test qualified. With this instruction, the standard rutting test method has difficult in satisfying the complex working condition of asphalt pavement. In order to solve these, some new rutting test methods which are in accordance with privileged conditions have been proposed from theory and simulation test by many scholars’ deeper research, including lots of feasible methods. By summarized the new anti-rutting methods of asphalt pavements and described all kinds of basic principles and engineering applications, the deficiency of the new rutting test methods was pointed out and the development direction was proposed.

The paper has introduced the concept, characteristics, related research and engineering applications of digital substation. Combined with implementation of the electronic transformer, intelligent terminals, network communication and the IEC 61850, it has also clarified that the carrying out of the construction of digital substation at this stage is a feasible plan. And it pointed out that digital substation is an important development direction of the substation technology as a basic unit of the digital grid in the future.

In recent years, the development and applications of protein drugs have attracted extensive attention from researchers. However, the shortcomings of protein drugs also limit their further development. Therefore, bioactive peptides isolated or simulated from protein polymers have broad application prospects in food, medicine, biotechnology, and other industries. Such peptides have a molecular weight distribution between 180 and 1000 Da. As a small molecule substance, bioactive peptide is usually degraded by various enzymes in the organism and have a short half-life. At the same time, such substances have poor stability and are difficult to produce and store. Therefore, these active peptides may be modified through phosphorylation, glycosylation, and acylation. Compared with other protein drugs, the modified active peptides are more easily absorbed by the body, have longer half-life, stronger targeting, and fewer side effects in addition to higher bioavailability. In the light of their functions, bioactive peptide can be divided into antimicrobial, anti-tumour, anti-angiogenic, antioxidant, anti-fatigue, and anti-hypertensive peptides. This article mainly focuses on the introduction of several promising biologically active peptides functioning as antimicrobial, anti-tumour, antiangiogenic, and antioxidant peptides from the three aspects modification, structural characteristics and mechanism of action.

Aiming to promote a more sustainable approach to material utilization in architecture, this article presents an alternative construction method for lightweight and efficient concrete structures. The strategic focus is placed on building wide-spanning roof structures like vaults, domes, and freeform shells with the lowest possible input of raw materials and energy. To achieve this objective, the article explores the novel idea of using bending-active structures, made from millimeter-thin carbon fiber strips, as lost formwork and structural reinforcement for the production of hybrid gridshells. After a general introduction to the state-of-the-art in concrete construction, the authors discuss opportunities and challenges related to flexible formwork designs and their possible impacts on the building industry. Relying on the example of a built prototype, the authors present a promising design methodology and analyze the gridshell’s geometrical and structural characteristics throughout different stages of the construction process. The article concludes by discussing the added value of this research and identifying the key aspects that need to be considered in the further development of this construction method.
